Lazarus #4 is where everything that was set up in #1-#3 comes to a head. It's bloody, violent, and damn near all action.

Sadly, Forever parts ways with Joacquim at some point along the way. I'm pretty sure we will be seeing him again in the near future though, and I look forward to it.

The best part of this installment is the end where ww see Forever receive a message with some shocking (to her) information. I can't fucking wait to see the outcome of it all in part 5!

I vote she murders every single one of them.

Lazarus 4 continues the story but unlike the last chapter that was extremely wordy, this one is all action. I cannot believe how bloody delicious the action was in this chapter, it had me hollering out loud. Whew, it was awesome.

I am a confessed graphic novel newbie as The Saga series by Vaughan is the only set of comics that I have ever read(I absolutely love the Saga series by the way).

Lazarus is a great near future story about Forever Carlyle and the family. Joacquim Morray was an awesome edition to the character line up, I hope that we get more of him.

Gore, blood, and plenty of killings. This first edition gives us a tiny bit of world building and story and hints at lots to come. The second chapter expands into the family and brings on many more characters. The third was mostly word. This chapter was awesome action. Once again chapter 4 has a fantastic ending.

On to chapter 4.

Tabi ki Marvel ya da DC çizgi romanı filan okumadığımın farkındayım ama sırf ana karakteri kadın olan bir çizgi romana başlamak için başladım ve beklentim minimumdaydı. Zaten bu 4 kitap Lazarus'a giriş serisi. Asıl hikaye bundan sonra başlıyormuş. Yine de beklentim yok pdf bulursam okurum 😀

This concludes Book one: FAMILY, but, Jesus! all the condescension gets in the way of really enjoying this comic and taking Forever as a serious character. Not just some lethal pawn.

Review of Volume 1, Issues 1-4:

The introduction to a dystopian world where a few families rule.

Forever Carlyle is the Lazarus of the Carlyle family, meaning the commander of their army forces who answers directly to her father, the leader of the family.

Beautiful, dark art and a very engaging story that leaves you wanting answers.

#4 –
“… full fight-or-flight RESPONSE .. what the HELL is going on down there?” – James
Intense and original dystopian story where distinct biological families are the power-brokers. Forever Carlyle is the family’s ‘weapon’ adult daughter. Captivating tale
