the bois finally forming a friendship group (SO CUTE) and then we got a reunion of childhood friends which seems like moving towards its doom? (pls take that parasitic alien away from that girl !!)
Oh my gosh the cliffhanger!!! I cannot wait for volume 8! This is gonna be a wild ride.
I love that we got some more "regular life" chapters in this volume. It's fun to see how the A.M.O function on the day-to-day. The side characters are so well done too. They're unique and realistic!
I feel like this volume had a lot of information in it, lol. I liked certain things, but then others not so much.
Obviously, my least favorite thing about the volume is the whole study session situation and more comedic chapter. Like I’m not sorry to say I literally couldn’t care less about what they’re saying other than the fact that the supposed developing friendship is beneficial to Akira. There was some other information in conversations that could maybe be relevant, but I honestly didn’t care.
Other than that, the fight scene ended up finishing up. I thought it was good. We learned more about Amamiya and what he’s thinking you know regarding Akira and that was new information and it just gives me more suspicion and it’s making me think more… every time new information gets told or new perspectives of it. I always get excited. (….this is because I clearly like to theorize) And of course he’s back doing morally gray shady suspicious stuff.
And then we just learned more information about aliens and that was just so… “interesting” to talk about it in that way…I wonder…why. And then the volume ended more so about Chizu and Hyogo.. I am also not sorry to say, but I didn’t really care that much because I’ve seen arcs like this happen in manga before… I do feel empathy for them, but I also don’t care that much for the outcome of what was being shown right now.
No właśnie – wrogom.
A zamiast odpowiedzi dostajemy uroczego Natsukiego.
Somehow this manga make me feels like it's really serious and not serious at the same time. To be honest, I don't know how to feel about that.
And so much happening in this volume. Chapter 29: damn, the battle looks nice. And Toya make it more good. Chapter 30: oh? That's how the ending of this battle? Somehow kinda let down. Oh not really, I guess? That one aliens is same race with Tenkubashi, nice. Chapter 31: oh my, the coincidence -_- Chapter 32: why we suddenly following this guy, oh nevermind, to meet the new character I guess. Chapter 33: I see big dillema is coming~~
I want to like this series more. The artwork is great and the paneling and pace are well done. The story is just too jumpy and somehow repetitive at the same time. The last chapter or two of this book are almost from some other story entirely and seem to add little to what is happening. So much potential, but not enough in the end.
kinda disappointed we didn't get any development with the very clear parallels between sho and raika/ririka cause that seemed like a golden opportunity but maybe they'll come later on?? i'm enjoying how tight the ensemble seems to be so far so i really hope we continue to focus on these characters and not go too crazy with introducing new ones like lots of other shonen tend to do
For some reason the Raika/Ririka arc wasn’t really my favourite - maybe because Akira didn’t do much in it? But the slice of life chapter was sweet and the start of the next arc with Natsuki looks promising.
Too many questions not enough answers! Seriously, I need to not read this for a couple volumes so I am not angrily waiting for the next English release!! (╯°
I enjoyed the slice of life chapters we got in this volume. I hope they are not setting up my man Natsuki for some heartbreak. Hopefully, I don't have to wait too long for the next volume.
