Punk Rock Superstar Collapses In Front Of Record Crowd
Hendrix Cavanaugh Rushed To Hospital In Mexico City
Cavanaugh Leaves Hospital AMA

I've loved Hendrix Cavanaugh since his high school mascot days, and seeing him grind himself down like this has been driving me up a wall. Now that he's collapsed on stage, I can't watch from the sidelines for a second longer.

I know I'm not his type—I'm a network security specialist who wears expensive suits and alphabetizes his spice drawer. In contrast, Hendrix wears all black, including his eyeliner and nail polish, and I doubt he's so much as alphabetized his contacts list.

Swooping in to save the day won't make him notice me. I know that. But he has to come off the road, and I have to be the one to take care of him, or I'm going to go out of my mind.

That said, sharing a cabin with him while he recovers might be the dumbest thing I've ever done in my entire life.

Oh man, I quite struggled with this one because I didn’t really like Hendrix all that much and I also didn’t buy into his and Sawyer’s romance. That’s def a first with both in regard to Kelly’s books but I’m not too disappointed because I wasn’t into the premise and characters of this one much anyway.

And now it’s only TWO MORE DAYS until Major’s and Ren’s book, the last one in the series. I CAN’T FREAKING WAIT!! Dear audio gods, make sure to hurry!!!

Do you ever go into a book prepared not to like it and then it turns out to be way better than you thought it would be? This book was exactly that for me. Going in, I wasn't particularly a fan of Hendrix or Sawyer. They appeared in the prior two books as a part of the Lost Boys friend group, and neither of them were that appealing to me. In fact, Hendrix was kind of annoying, so no one was more surprised than me that I ended up actually really enjoying this!

I wouldn't say this was 5* for me, but I'm rounding up from 4.5* because the audio put it over the top. There were a couple of little annoying things, but overall, I had a great time! I'm a sucker for uptight, stick-up-the-butt characters that take care of others because it's their love language, and Sawyer was that persona perfected 👌🏻 His pining for Hendrix was fabulous and his daddy aura was on point. He was so weak for Hendrix I couldn't get enough.

Hendrix still annoyed me at the beginning of this book, but I quickly felt sorry for him and just wanted Sawyer to take care of him. His slow slide from never seeing Sawyer as more than a friend to someone he couldn't ever see himself without was beautiful. After all, who doesn't love seeing a bad boy tamed? 😌

Audio: 4.5 stars for Declan Winters!

Book: DNF @64%

I need to stop reading Kelly Fox’s books. There are a few that worked for me in the past but now I can’t read them without rolling my eyes.

I was looking forward to reading about Hendrix and Sawyer since it’s a whole opposites attract and all that jazz.

This however didn’t feel like that. This felt like Hendrix being an asshole to Sawyer the whole time Sawyer was trying to help Hendrix get healthy and back on his feet. I couldn’t find any redeeming qualities for Hendrix, he was rude and not likable in anyway. Sawyer deserved way better than being called Agnus when all he was doing was taking care of Hendrix.

Then Sawyer had this Dom side of him that kinda made sense, but also didn’t flow well with the story. And the first time that Hendrix and Sawyer had sex, it was unprotected (which I wouldn’t have trusted Hendrix at his word) and the whole thing was Sawyer wanted to “breed” Hendrix… uhh what?! Haha

But one thing was going for this story, less tears were shed compared to previous Kelly Fox books! Haha

Overall I need a break from Kelly Fox, her books aren’t for me right now and idk when I’ll feel ready to pick them up again.

How could I actually forget that this was my fave couple in the entire series?! Sawyer and Hendrix really give me everything I love in book couples, years of longing, the you were the one all along and I was just too dumb to realize it moment and the hot hot sex scenes where one of the MCs is a pillow princess and the other is the perfect mix of dominant and gentle?! 👀 Sign me tf up plz 🥵🥹

Sawyer really is the most perfect book boyfriend I’ve ever seen! The years and years and years of pining thinking he never had a chance? The care and consideration? (that definitely translated to the bedroom as well 🥵😏)The meticulous way he took care of Hen that forced Hen to realize he did deserve someone good? Sawyer was extremely perfect for Hen and so likable and fun in an understated way.

And Hen my sweet, bratty bby Hendrix really just wanted somebody to love and somebody who cared 🥺 He was definitely slow to catch up to where Sawyer already was but once he got there?! Oh I severely swooned! I love that he was exactly what Sawyer needed too, how he relaxed him and brought him to the present while also being a brat that he loved to get and keep in line 🥵😏 Hen needing attention and not knowing how to ask for it? I truly just wanted to protect my lil bby 🥹

These two really balanced each other so well and clearly adored one another even when they thought the other didn’t feel the same or thought they weren’t good enough to deserve it. The way their love blossomed throughout this book truly just made my heart melt and swoon! Kelly Fox’s writing is so beautiful and soulful and just makes you feel everything. I may expire reading the rest of her catalog but I’ll be happy about it 🥹

I received an ARC of this book for reviewing purposes.

The day I picked up my first Kelly Fox book, I knew I was hooked forever. And that knowledge solidified as I made my way through her entire backlist right away. I have since re-read most of them several times and eagerly await every new release. There's not a single book I haven't loved and The Punk is no different.

The thing I love most about Kelly's books is that it doesn't matter what genre the book is. Is it plain contemporary? Western/ranch fun? Murderswoon? I love it all for the same reason. The characters. As someone who very much needs to connect to & love characters to enjoy a book, reading Kelly's books is always a fantastic experience, no matter the subject or story. I'm all in because I know I'll fall in love with the characters deeply and madly. And, unsurprisingly, that was the case when I met the Lost Boys. These books tug at my heartstrings in the best way and the cast of characters is so marvelous that I know I'll be re-visiting their stories time and time again. (Plus the cameo appearances of characters from previous series are always a lot of fun.)

Sawyer and Hen's story is a beautiful one. I ached for Sawyer in the beginning and I worried about Hen, even if he did tick me off a little bit occasionally. Sawyer has been in love with Hen ever since they first met and that love is slowly killing him, honestly. But when Hen's health takes a nosedive and he finally (FINALLY) stops to let himself recover properly, Sawyer is right there to take care of his every need, no matter how much it makes his heart ache. Watching them come together was beautiful and it made me so happy because they're so different but so very right for each other. Hen grows a lot throughout the book, learning to slow down and take care of himself and figure out a way to keep doing what he loves without it slowly killing him. But Sawyer grew too by learning to let people in properly and showing his softer side. Honestly, he was precious and I loved him so much. Plus, the steamy parts were FIRE. These two together, seriously. My lord.

One thing that ticked me off about Hen at first was how dismissive he was towards Sawyer. Teasing him about his bossy ways, how he fusses over Hen, and how he always wears suits and such, pretty much dismissing the notion that there might be a reason behind all of it and that Sawyer might be hiding a very soft, fragile center. It bugged me because Sawyer turns his life upside down just so he can dedicate himself to taking care of Hen, despite how difficult it is for him. I'm relieved it didn't take a ridiculously long time before Hen saw the errors of his ways and it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book.

I am not at all sad about Dick DeWitt getting his ass handed to him, at all. Getting a hint at what his son Chase is up to was enlightening, though I still hate him and can't bring myself to be pleased for him. I am never going to be much of a fan of this family, but that is a-okay with me.

Overall, this is another win for Kelly Fox and I loved it to pieces. I can't wait to read Major's book because - from the hints we've gotten in this book - it's going to be an emotional roller coaster. I'll be sure to have a box of tissues on standby once I finally have that book in my hands. For now, I will try to recover from the book hangover caused by the wonderful and precious Sawyer and Hen.

I received an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in exchange for an honest review.

Poor Sawyerr😭

“But, as always, we were on two different planets, destined always to miss each other as we performed our lonely orbits.”

Sawyer has been in love with Hendrix since high school. The way he wants to take care of him and protect him was so precious! When Hendrix collapses on stage, Sawyer knows he has to step in and make him take care of himself!

The one sided pining almost killed me. Hen couldn’t have known that Sawyer was in love with him but he was still so mean😭obviously he redeemed himself but still…I wanted to shake him!

I’m so not ready to let go of the lost boys

Ehhhhh, I was entertained. They didn't make my heart bleed tho 🤷‍♀️ Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I started at book 1. It definitely was a found family series. I liked Sawyer, I didn't really like Hendricks until the end. He was an ungrateful dingleberry
This right here....
"My mom was hummin a tune my boyfriend had written for another man but now sang for me"
Idk, man, that just wasn't romantic to me.

“I need to see you dripping. How would you feel about me breeding you?”
“Uh, you’re literally the only person I’d trust to do that to me. Fuckin’ breed me, man.”
---THAT WAS THEIR FIRST TIME 😬

As much as I've loved the Lost Boys series so far, I think The Punk is my favorite. I love how buttoned-up Sawyer slowly unravels as he cares for Hendrix, aka Hen, and how oblivious Hen is to Sawyer's true feelings.

The ensemble cast and some fun cameos add to the flavor of the story, but much of the focus is on the MCs, and I appreciate the fact that the romance between Hen and Sawyer isn't overwhelmed by all the strong personalities in the Lost Boys and their entourage.

I typically don't highlight in an arc since they don't transfer over here, but this book had some wonderful lines that I couldn't help it, starting with the "Before we begin" note from the author at the beginning, which lists the content warning as "Brief mentions of homophobia, transphobia, and general family bullshit."

One of my favorite Sawyer bits: "You have no idea the lengths to which I would go to ensure you're okay," I said quietly. I'd already ripped my heart from my chest. Everything lese was relatively painless."

And of course, it wouldn't be a Kelly Fox book without a heaping helping of spice.

So. Much. Spice.

It works, though, because there's plenty of emotion and romance, too.

I'm looking forward to the next book!

This series has been amazing, and I've enjoyed every book! The Punk is book 3 in the Lost Boys series.

Hendrix has been running himself into the ground on his neverending tours around the world as the singer/screamer in a famous punk band. He loves his friends, but he's been running from [redacted] his entire adult life.

Sawyer has been in love with Hendrix since high school, when he learned what love was. But Hendrix was into [redacted], and so Sawyer PINED.

When Hendrix collapses on stage, he comes home to Seguin, and that's when Sawyer swoops in.

🩵 the Lost Boys, found family perfection
💜 the light D/s vibes
💚 the PINING
🩷 the compass coordinates
🩵 learning to love yourself
💜 learning you're worthy of love
💚 accepting help
🩷 seeing DB and Odd!

This book had 🔥🔥🔥🔥 scenes that were smoking hot. But I loved that the two seemingly completely different & incompatible people find their match in each other. Sawyer's care was so tender, and the Brat in Hendrix needed that.

Book 4, the Steady will break me.
Major and Ren 😭😭😭😭😭
I already know. Is it April yet?

This series is like a balm on my overanxious soul. Kelly is killing it. As always, if she writes it, I'm gonna read it. Maybe not immediately, but definitely.

3.5 ⭐️ 3🌶️

I wanted to love this so badly. Honestly. I liked it. It was very on brand but it felt…off? I don’t know. The first half until 3/4 of it was great and ticked all my boxes. The stream was hawt. The love was love. Hen was a brat and Sawyer, the caring “dom” he is and they fit together.

To speak vaguely, I think my issue lies with the ending/last third of the book.

The book is incredibly detailed (maybe too much?) for like 80% of it. Then, it swaps into telling us mode. Where the POV is still first person but it’s very much past tense and we’re just told things. It builds up to some great resolutions that we just…kinda hear about?

This seems to be a theme with Kelly Fox books. It’s not inherently a bad thing, it’s just not my jam.

They’re easy to read and a bit nostalgic because they’re set close to my home, but I just think they’re a bit Hallmark-y.

I like it but I wish it was more. I wanted more for Hen and Sawyer. More than just surface level stuff. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been waiting for Hendrix's story and I have to say that Kelly Fox didn't disappoint with this one! An unrequited best friends to lovers story with a huge slow burn, a character who has basically worn himself so thin he's going to need months of rehab and of course the amazing Lost Boys friend group to help these two figure things out!

I love the way Hen brats out as he heals, and just how much patience Sawyer has for dealing with it, even if you see his dom side come out more and more often. I also love the ways Sawyer has set up his world to protect himself from his feelings...

I can't wait to see what's next for the Lost Boys, and watch as Hendrix integrates back into their small town.

This was great, but honestly not as good as the others so far (to me at least). I never really felt like I got to know either of them in the last few books, so I found it hard to connect with them in this one. I didn't have very strong feelings about either of them. I also wasn't a huge fan of either Sawyer or Hen's attitudes, but I understand they were both operating based on certain circumstances and opinions. I loved how supportive Ozzie and Major were for both our MCs. It got easier to enjoy closer to the end, but what I'm really interested in is poor Major and Ren. I never saw that coming, but I'll be looking forward to the next book in this series.

I love this series so much and Kelly does an amazing job bringing Sawyer and Hen to life. I loved every word of this book including the parts where I was screaming for Sawyer to take a brat in hand. 100/5 stars! Every book in this series is better than the last. 🥰❤️

This book is both exactly what it says on the tin and simultaneously full of delightful surprises. That Sawyer and Hen are meant to be is evident from events in earlier in the series (and obvious to almost everyone but the two of them). However, what we think we know about the characters barely scratches the surface of their personalities and why, exactly, they would work better together than apart. With this series, Fox has crafted a complex bit of storytelling that only becomes more intricate (and intriguing) the more we uncover about each individual character and narrative.

From the first moment, I want to wrap Hendrix in a blanket burrito and give him a kitten to snuggle. Whatever dream he might have been chasing that led him out of Seguin has slowly transitioned to something more akin to running away. Luckily, the bonds of family and friendship that still tie him to Seguin ensure he has people to catch him when he finally runs straight off the edge of a cliff. That Sawyer insists on being Hen’s primary safety net, especially over Hen’s parents, might as well flash his feelings for Hen in neon. Mostly, I wanted to also wrap Sawyer’s unrequited love for Hen in a blanket burrito.

Watching these characters on a collision course was fun, but the surprising layer of spice Fox adds to the proceedings makes this book an absolute delight. Sawyer is the definition of “it’s always the quiet ones,” but the depths he’s hidden from Hen turn out to be exactly what makes them a perfect match. This is true regarding Hen’s personal and professional needs, though these are fairly intermingled due to Hen’s life as a rock star. Fox also ties the external plot for these characters to Seguin with a reveal that is an excellent twist on how these stories are so grounded in a well-developed world, which is important even for contemporary settings.

Hen’s character arc is relatively neat, but he starts from such an unrooted point that it is still entirely satisfying. Sawyer’s arc is much messier, but watching him go nuclear on Hen’s enemies is both satisfying and sexy AF. Along the way, because these men exist as part of a strong found family, we also see plenty of hints of stories yet to come. Those moments are part of what makes Fox’s shared world stories equally fun to read and frustrating in the best ways possible.

I love Hen!!

I love love LOVE all these Lost Boys and I absolutely adore this found family and how they all come together to love and support one another. The punk rock god, Hendrix, needed help he wasn’t going to ask for and it took him fainting on stage to finally go home and rest. Sawyer, the control freak, who has loved Hen since high school, decided he would be one to make sure Hendrix rested and got better. I loved the sassy little punk and I adored “Agnes” as Hen called Sawyer when he got bossy.
_________
“I only give nice things to obedient boys,” I said, loving how my words made him shiver, sending a fleet of goose bumps over his skin.
- Sawyer to Hen
_________
When Sawyer finally gave into his desires and want for Hendrix, man! were these two on fire! I loved seeing Sawyer finally letting go and being himself with Hen, especially after he was free to confess his love. His smile and his whole demeanor changed and he still loved in his own quiet little ways but his smile was more pure and genuine.

These two came a long way both with each other, individually, and with their parents. To see Sheriff Cavanaugh finally hugging his son, Hendrix, and accepting him was so lovely.

So many more things about this book that I loved - seeing Leo and Lovett, another mention of Jules (I really want her story!) and finding out that Sawyer works for DB…such great little snippets throughout. My heart goes out to Major and Ren and I can’t wait to see how their stories unfold, either together or separate…I know it’ll be worth the wait!

The Fantastic Kelly Fox brings us her next installment in her Lost Boys series with the story of
World Famous Punk Rocker Hendrix and his buttoned up lifelong friend Sawyer. This has been a triangle of unrequited love with Hendrix in love with another HS friend and Sawyer always having feelings for Hendrix and taking care of him both in front of and behind the scenes more than Hendrix ever realized. When Hendrix collapses on stage and somehow makes his way home, it's finally time for these two men to realize what they really mean to each other. Sometimes you just have to look beyond what you expect to see what's really in front of you.
With the usual emotional baggage that Kelly Fox’s characters always have to work through, these two figure out how to get what they really want out of life and each other. Kelly Fox’s stories are always a little complex but a lot of emotion that just pulls you into the story and the characters like they are part of your family. You can’t help but feel for them and want them to achieve all they want in life and love. That is the author's true talent, she makes you believe! As usual, I can't praise the author high enough and recommend all fans to grab this story. If it's your first, you can start here but always recommend starting WAY back at the beginning as many of her stories have Pop-ups and mentions of favorite couples from the past. Happy Reading!

4.25 stars! I really enjoyed this book..I have been waiting for this book..It is well written, and I am so invested in all the characters. I do have a niggle though and it might be a spoiler… Hence, a missed opportunity to make this a 5 star read for me…However, I will continue to read this series as I am invested. I can’t wait to read Ren and Major’s story!! My heart aches for Major!!!

3 1/2 to 4 stars I have said over and over again in reviews that Kelly fox is one of my favorite mm authors, and it's still true.
Sadly though this book was somewhat of a disappointment for me. It took me a while to get to this series because I had loved her other books about loveable killers , and was worried I wouldn't equally love more sedate/ normal romance as much. But I haven't found that to be true. One thing Kelly does well is make you care about her characters and want thing to be together. The crush ( the book before this one) was absolutely amazing and I was looking forward to this one even though I was worried because rock star romances are just not something I enjoy.
My main issue is that I didn't like Sawyer for at least half the book. He just came across as bossy and annoying. I rolled my eyes at him several times and wondered what Hendrix or even his friends saw in him. He did finally get better but I also dislike when kink is just thrown in for no real reason. Everytime a cage was mentioned I had to force myself to keep reading.
I did enjoy how sweet they were together when they finally got together and I was happy for them , but will just say this has not been my favorite book in the series so far. Im about to read The steady and hopefully that one will be better.

4.5⭐️ rounded up.

This was another fun and heartfelt addition to the Lost Boys series, with all the queer found family, evocative Texas setting and happy ending I've come to expect from Kelly Fox.

I've been looking forward to getting Hendrix's story and it delivers with the chaos gremlin of a Punk star finally finding peace in Seguin.

And Sawyer's stoic pining is adorable.

If you've read the Wrecked and Wrecked: Guardians series, this series is a spin-off in that world, and DB and Odd have cameos in this book. Anders is also mentioned (he's like the bogeyman of this world when it comes to threatening people!).

I'm loving all the found family vibes in the Lost Boys series and all the ways their lives are weaving tighter together. It gets better with each book.

In this you'll find:
🌈MM contemporary romance
🌈Gay, uptight, suited quiet one
🌈Burnt out Punk musician
🌈Unrequited crushes since teens
🌈Size difference
🌈Collapse from exhaustion & drugs
🌈Non-consensual drugging
🌈Mention of past near fatal bigoted attack
🌈Bigoted harassment
🌈Past family breakup because of bigoted parent
🌈Secondary character with a SA + trafficking background
🌈Trans woman secondary character being rejected
🌈Found family
🌈Texas small town setting
🌈A HEA

Holy spice, B-man. This story is absolutely fire. I love a good friends to lovers story. There are aspects of redemption and forgiveness which really drags you into the story and keeps you glued to the pages.

I love the Lost Boys so much. I find it fun how helplessly clueless these men can be when it comes to their respective partner. This book is no different. Punk Rock God, Hendrix, and semi overbearing and stoic, Sawyer, need all the nudges their friends and families can give them. These men are totally unaware how loved they are by everyone.

Hendrix feels unlovable because of his parent failed marriage and his very low self esteem. He doesn't see how much he has to offer the world. Sawyer has been in love with him for years and years but doesn't think Hen will ever see him as more than a nagging friend. When they finally see each other and embrace the rough bits, magic happens. Chemistry is off the charts here.

I wish I could 3 more books about these two. There are some great twists and turns and I could not love these men more.

PSA: Kelly's books might make you tear up or full on sob, but she always puts her characters (and usually her readers) back together again. 100% worth it to binge her entire catalog.

Review - The Punk by Kelly Fox

5 🖤

Finally we get to meet Henrix, I just wanted to hug that pintsized man till he couldn't take anymore. As with any book by Kelly, I laughed, cried and swooned over these men. Hendrix and Sawyer probably shouldn't work but my god they do. Well when Henrix see’s what's been in front of him for years.
At first I thought Sawyer just wanted to torment himself when Hendrix returned after collapsing. But the more i got to know Sawyer the more I could tell he wouldn't have it anyother way. He needed to make sure Hen got better because he loved him too much to leave it to anyone else.
Hen has a lot to work though and not just getting better. Years of self blame and hurt have really tainted this brilliant man. Seeing him and Sawyer become closer gave me butterflies. To be honest I did at times want to bash their heads together especially when they made my eyes leak. Hen finally seeing the love that's been in front of him all this time was everything though.
I loved getting to see DB and Odd again. I'm now planning yet another reread of their story because that's the thing with Kelly’s boys; they just never seem to leave you.
From the little glimpses of the next couple i already know ill need my tissues again. I love Kelly’s lost boys so freaking much and cant wait to see them all again.

I received a copy in return for my honest review

\m/ (>.<) \m/ Punk rock!

Punk rock meets the force that will capture his energy and his heart!

The Lost Boys are on the verge of losing one of their own and if Hendrix (Hen) doesn’t take a break from touring and take care of himself, things will not end well.

Enter Sawyer. The steady and stoic one of the group. He has been in love with Hen since high school and resigned to it being one sided.

When Hen collapses on stage, Sawyer makes it his duty to help him back to healthy. Sawyer refuses to leave and holes up with Hen during the long road to recovery.

But how strong can one’s patience be? When sawyer reaches his limit and snaps, it’s his “Dom” side that makes an appearance. And Hendrix doesn’t say no.

The dynamic between these two is fabulous. A bit of irritation, a bit of bratty, a lot of heat and the heart wants what the heart wants.

I love getting to know the guys more and learn more about Seguin. The charming small town is the perfect backdrop for this group.

Stop this was so good!

First off the COVERS?!? I am loving the illustrated covers Wowzah!

But back to Sawyer and Hendrix. The wholesome devoted love, the vulnerability, the deep sense of home and belonging, the found family and the bio family healing sheeeeesh Kelly really out did herself here! Hendrix was so destructive and lost that by the end I was nearly in tears when he found his home in Sawyer! Hendrix and his wild behavior was so endearing and hilarious once he was settled by the stability of Sawyer.

The biggest revelation though was Sawyer himself. I don’t know that I’ve ever viscerally felt the fear and raw emotions associated with a character as much as I did with Sawyer. It was so satisfying to read as he let go a little and took a chance that he could be happy.

Another amazing addition to Kelly’s work! As usual I am left so so excited for the next in the series! Please don’t ever stop Kelly I need your stories in my life.

So I don't write a lot of reviews anymore (very busy lady so I focus my energy on reading and reviewing ARC releases) but I felt compelled to review this glorious addition to my list of amazing reads.

Hen and Sawyer will lure you into the false pretence that this book isn't as spicy as the others in the series and then BAM! It'll just hit like a battering ram dildo!
Jokes aside, I found myself so emotionally invested with these two characters that I barely put my kindle down today (my mums dog used me as a pillow for the duration). The chemistry was unreal and the change from friends to lovers (especially from Hen's side) was done very organically.

Kelly is pretty much a one click author for me and the way her series all seem to interconnect is rather incredible and cleverly done. I did not expect to see a fun cameo from certain characters but I thoroughly enjoyed it when I did.

I cannot wait for the next in the series!

Loved it, love the characters, the k1nk, the heat, the back-and-forth between the MCs, the HEA, the cameos - EVERYTHING! Kelly Fox brings her own brand of snark, spice, sweetness & sensuality, not to mention the sexiest stoic with the swooniest super-Daddy vibes without the daddy kink lol. Hen & Sawyer turn up the heat & heartache factors almost as much as the sweet & sentimental. Somehow, they figure it out & make it work. With a little - or a lot - help from their friends & families. Loved seeing the other series couples & how they're faring. Also loved seeing the Dick get his own served back. I'm not sure where the remaining hinted storylines will take us, but I'm ever & always eager & excited to find out! Excellent found family & love conquers all vibes - also the usual "it pays to have friends in Odd places" deal, always helps. (Anders too)

Smirk 😏

Gah, Sawyer and Hen hit me full in the feels and my love for them is evergreen. Every word said, every action big or small, every kiss smoldering or sweet, every moment is perfection because they are.

“You may have loved me longer, but I promise you, Sawyer, I’m there with you now. And I don’t want it to end. Even if I’m still not sure what you see in me.”
“That’s easy,” he said, returning my kiss with the endless well of passion I’d just begun to get the sense of. “I see forever.”

I can’t put it all into words how much I adore the way Sawyer cares for Hen and for the many, many ways his love shines through with everything he does. And Hen, my heart is overflowing with happiness and love for him, for his growth, his insights, and for the home he found. These two are a magic all their own, a beautiful melody, and a dream I never want to wake from. Lost Boys forever.

Oh, Agnes. One of my fave nicknames and it fits Sawyer so well at the beginning of the book! The different situations in which Hen calls him that are funny, cute and ultimately heart warming.

The dynamic between Hendrix and Sawyer is so special, right from the start. Their relationship is layered and complex; perfect for an evolution. And evolve it does….and not just in bed! Although the changes there are also huge.

With all your fave Lost Boys making appearances, as well as a few characters from the Guardians series, Fox once again delivers all the best found family vibes. This time around we also see growth in parentals which is nice to see.

The cover on this one is smoking too and just how I pictured Hendrix. The artist captured his essence so well.

5 stars for this eagerly anticipated instalment in the Lost Boys series.
