Very good book, second chance story with a mystery going along with it. This isn't really a stand alone story as the first book, A Brother's Honor, should be read first to get the full story. The main focus in this book is Caden, the middle brother, and his relationship with Shiloh. Caden and Shiloh had been friends as kids, until Caden's mother was murdered and his father imprisoned for it. Shiloh's parents forbid her from seeing him again. They renewed their friendship after they were grown and away from home, where it grew into a deep love for each other. Their plans to elope were interfered with, leaving Caden feeling betrayed and Shiloh wondering what happened. Four years later Caden finally learns the truth and is determined to win back Shiloh's love and trust.

Caden came across as a bit of a jerk at the beginning. His attitude toward Shiloh when she came to him with what she discovered about their aborted wedding was really bad. I got that he was hurt by what he saw as her betrayal, but considering the source of the information he should have investigated more. I liked the way that he realized how badly he had screwed up once he did have the truth and knew it was going to be a struggle to win Shiloh back. Shiloh had suffered from her heartbreak for a long time, and after the latest confrontation with Caden had finally decided it was time to move on. Having him show up and admit he was wrong was satisfying for her, but she wasn't so sure she wanted to risk her heart again. I enjoyed Caden's persistence and Shiloh's attempts to resist. A near death experience for Caden showed Shiloh that her love for him hadn't died and being together was more important than hanging on to her hurt. Their relationship continues to grow as they deal with questions of who might be trying to kill him and the ongoing puzzle of who was really responsible for his mother's murder.

Throughout the story are more clues showing that Shep Granger is indeed innocent of his wife's murders. He may be stuck in prison, but he is still receiving threats against his family if anyone tries to prove him innocent. I love seeing how he has made use of his time in prison and the influence he has had on the lives of others. That influence ends up helping him protect his family, even from behind bars. I also enjoyed seeing his relationship with his lawyer and look forward to more of it in the next book. The clues we get about the murder lead to the idea that there was more to it than a lover's quarrel. The last chapter contains a twist that I really didn't see coming and will be very interested in seeing what comes of it in the next book.

There are also some good parts dealing with the ongoing relationship between Jace and Shana. I loved seeing the way that Jace's happiness is an example for his two brothers, even though they may not always appreciate it. They are still dealing with some of the fallout from the corporate spying in the first book and a suspected murder has them thinking that their troubles aren't over yet.

Shana's dad also has a continuing storyline with his new lady friend. I loved his conviction that her blindness doesn't matter. I really liked his conversation with his daughter about his feelings for her late mother and the difference in his feelings now.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the book is Dalton's search for the woman that he met in a bar one night. Dalton is the brother who is the biggest player of them all. He's never had to work for a woman's attention and it seems to have gone to his head. When he tracks down the mystery lady he's surprised when she wants nothing to do with him. He has an even bigger surprise in store when he finds out who she is. His book should be very interesting.

DNFed @ 40 something %

Too many things bothered me here to give this book more than 1 star.

I had high hopes for his one because the synopsis sounded really good and I like Jackson because she gave me Duty or Desire which I absolutely loved.

However.

This one was a mistake.
At least to me.
Why?

1. First off, it's not a standalone. It's a continuation of the first book in the series.

Why didn't I read it then?

Well, I didn't want to.
Why again?

Because I have this rule, that if passionflix decides to turn a book into a movie, it's a 100% guarantee I will hate not only the film but the book, too. So in other words, it's sort of an indicator of what books I should steer clear of.
I've learnt that after many painful attempts of trying to get through some of the 'productions' or the 'books'.
That truly was an agonizing lesson to learn.

2. We quickly learn that the main characters, Shiloh and Caden had known each other their whole life before they started dating. He is a famous musician and she opens her winehouse or sth when we meet them. And in the past they were about to elope but something happened and they ended up separate.

So what happened, one may ask?

If I understood correctly, after Caden's mother was murdered a long time ago, Shiloh's father forbade her to contact the family. And when they secretly reunited, discovered they were soulmates and decided to marry, her father had different plans and decided to meddle. He sent Caden some fake pictures of her with some dude and so our dumb hero assumed she was cheating on him.
And just like that, he refused to talk to her or listen to her explanations.

The thought that it could be untrue or it might've been a photoshop never even crossed his dumb mind.
So apparently trust was not something they built their relationship on since he refused to even give the girl the benefit of the doubt.

Better, he started sleeping around and made sure she knew about all the bimbos he fucked while they were separated.
And once I learnt all that, my interest in how this story would go dropped to zero.
Because I'm sorry but a guy like this doesn't deserve a second chance.
End of story.

3. The Grangers' father, who back in the day was accused of murdering his wife and sentenced for 30 years, Sheppard, is now in fact in prison.

BUT WHAT A FANCY ASS PRISON THAT IS!

Why?
Well, perhaps due to the fact that Shep spends most of his time meeting different people right and left. Physical contact included.
Also, with a constant access to internet he keeps in touch with everyone and everything.
He can check his emails, hire people and even romance his attorney.
No questions asked.

I wouldn't be surprised if he called for his favourite take out and had it delivered to his 'cell' every now and then.

4. The constant switching between the characters and their povs makes the entire story confusing and boring.

5. The heroine is a complete and utter doormat and she takes that idiot back at around 35 % into the book.

He didn't even have to grovel.
Or apologise.

Why?
Because he was hot and she missed him.
Her words, not mine.
If that's not weak and pathetic, I seriously dunno what is.

I could continue the list but what's the point?
I didn't like anything here.
It was confusing and annoying. And maybe I would've kept reading had the couple been at least a bit appealing or showed me some signs of intelligence.
That didn't happen, however.
Hence the 1-star rating.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, hence the 5 out of 5 rating. It is the second book in a series, but it contains enough details so that you'll know what's going on and get caught up in the story. There's a romance, naturally, and an ongoing mystery that continues through the series. I highly recommend. Kudos Ms. Jackson!

"A Man's Promise" by Brenda Jackson...

"A man's word is his bond. His family is his strength. His heart is his own.

Superstar musician Caden Granger has spent years running from love, commitment and family. Yet despite his fame and fortune, he knows the kind of respect and adoration he needs can only come from one person—the very woman who wants nothing to do with him.

Corporate fund-raiser and society maven Shiloh Timmons finally got her life on track once her relationship with Caden ended, and she's in no hurry to revisit a romance with the man she left standing at the altar.

If Caden can't have Shiloh by his side, all the success in the world will mean nothing. Now he has a chance to renew his promises…but is it too late?"

What I enjoyed about the read...

I loved it and found it a continuation of the first series...'A Brother's Honor.' I would definitely suggest you read the first series to truly understand what is going on in the second series. "A Man's Promise" was mainly of Caden Granger and Shiloh Timmons love story and it was a real interesting one that will bring to us 'lies, misunderstandings, secrets hurt and betrayal.' Now add some mystery, suspense, romance, drama and conspiracy into all of that and you have one amazing story that just keep on going into the next series. ..Dalton's story. I don't want to give too much away just know that the Granger brothers...Jace, Caden and Dalton will give you a such a intensed read from start to finish. By picking up 'A Man's Promise' you will find that this author has done a excellent job giving us a well written novel from start to finish with all of its twist and turns. The characters were all simply off the chart ...well wait a moment...their were a few to shake you head at...but mostly all were well developed, well portrayed, colorful and so believable only helping to give the reader a well attention grabber and oh yes I loved that ending...a cliffhanger. This was very well done. The only thing left to say is I will be waiting for the next series.. about Dalton and I am sure there will be even more for us... unlocking and tying it all together in this who, what, when and why of it all in this last series.

This is the 2nd book in the Granger Series, the story of Caden Granger and Shiloh Timmons. In keeping with the storyline of A Brother's Honor, Mrs. Jackson gives us a story of passion, love. Intrigue and revelations. The love these siblings have for each other as well is very endearing.

Caden and Shiloh have a complicated history filled with pain, anger, hurt, misunderstandings and some revelations. We also get a glimpse of how there is a connection with Shiloh's father as and the things that occurred in their families past. Caden is the Alpha male (stubborn & protective). When the truth finally was revealed about their parting, he should have gone about begging her :) Sometimes when you love someone you have to go through emotional changes and loose things to prove how strong love can be.

The interaction between the secondary characters made the story that much better. I can't wait to read Dalton story and for things to come to an explosive ending in book 3. I highly recommend this book!!! 5 stars of praise for Mrs Jackson.

Last year I got the chance to read the first book in this series, A Brother's Honor and really enjoyed it. When I saw A Man's Promise on Netgalley I was excited when I got accepted to review it. This series consist of three brothers, the first book was about the oldest brother, A Man's Promise is about Caden, the middle brother and the next book will about the third brother. But the thing is, you need to read the books in order because the books connect to one another.

I've read quite a few books by Brenda Jackson, but I have to admit the romance in this book wasn't one of my favorites. It wasn't the highlight of the story for me. I loved the romance in the first book, but I couldn't really connect with it in this one. It might be because I never really had much interest in Caden to begin with, but I wanted to get his story anyway. Caden is a musician. He and Shiloh dated in their past and came close to being married, but Shiloh's dad did everything he could to keep them apart. One moment the two went from hating each other to some bad happened and now their back in love. I couldn't connect with it. It wasn't terrible, but it just fell flat.

The highlight of this book was the mystery surrounding the brother's mother. Their father has been wrongfully accused of murdering their mother and has spent the last 15 years in prison because of it. But the boys are determined to find out who really murdered there mother. We found out bits and pieces of information, but not enough to solve the case. We also got some shocking information at the end that left some anticipation for the next book, but we won't find out more until the next book and I'm excited for it.

I also like how we got Dalton's pov sometimes in this book (the youngest brother). The whole thing between him and Shana's sister is adorable and I can't wait to see his story in the next installment. But another thing that I didn't care for with this story is the pov from Shana and Jules' father. I sort of feel it's pointless. It isn't really that important to me that he's found love. It's sweet and all, but sort of irrelevant to the actual story itself. Overall, the book was okay. It had suspense from all the mystery, but the romance fell flat for me.

Destined!!!

A Man's Promise is the second book in the Granger Series. The 3 brothers are brought back together when their grandfather who raised them is on his deathbed. He is all they have since their mother is dead and their father is in jail for her murder.

Caden and Shiloh were close as kids but after the murder of his mother, Shiloh was forbidden to have any contact with him by her father. Shiloh and Caden would reconnect again and built on their friendship from childhood. They fall in love and decide to elope and spend the rest if their lives together. Shiloh's father gets wind of the plan and puts one of his own in action. This plan would separate them for years.

Shiloh learns the truth about her father's deception after his death. Her first thought is to tell Caden but he is still to hurt by what he believes is her betrayal. Her mother eventually tells him the truth in an apology since she believes he has already been told the truth. Once he learns the truth, he becomes determined to win her back. Shiloh is not feeling him right now and is determined to stay away from him. Yet, we know when a real man makes a promise there is nothing you can do to stop him.

Caden is determined and works his way back into her life and that does not sit well with a lot of people. Love is truly on display. As people continue to plot to stop the brothers from digging into their mother's death, more clues and people step in to protect them.

This book is definitely a great read and page turner. Brenda Jackson has captivates us again. You will have your own clues and suspects for sure.

Let me start off by saying Brenda Jackson did that. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. The sexy love scenes Caden & Shiloh is just wow. The suspense and drama and all the twist and turns kept me interest to the point that once I started reading it I could not stop. Down side is I'm sad because the next book does not come out until June 2015 (Dalton's story) I love me some Dalton, he kept me laughing to the point of tears in this book. The story is so heartfelt. Caden and Shiloh have had been best friends that was torn apart but found each other again. Shiloh's evil father manage to tear them apart again. But they come back together and this time Caden promise's nothing will tear them apart again. I really don't know how I feel all my emotions came into play. I LoVE THE GRANGER MEN!!! This is a must read. I know I will have to read both books all over again. Check out a Brother's Honor too.

I guess I'm in the minority, because I didn't love this book. Not at all. I've read almost all of Brenda Jackson's books and enjoyed them, but this Granger series is just not doing it for me. I started reading this book months ago, and would come back to it every now and again, but it has never drawn me in. Since Book 3 is coming out soon, I decided to finish this one so I'd be ready for the next one, but it was truly a struggle. The premise of the series is a good one, but the story feels painfully dragged out, and there are so many characters to keep straight. And the dialogue seems so stilted...everybody talks in such a formal manner.

I usually love Brenda Jackson's suspense stories, because they truly keep you guessing until the end. I would love to know who killed Sylvia Granger, because I think it's gonna be a big shocker, but not sure that I can make it through another book.

I stopped almost half way through. EVERYBODY wants Shiloh to understand Caden's POV but when she tried to tell him the situation, on MANY occassions, he treated her like the worst person EVER. After he finds out that she wasn't cheating on him but was in the hospital fighting for her life and grieving over losing their baby, he mounts a full court press to get her back and he is dumbfounded when she doesnt want to talk to him, go out with him, or see him. I stopped reading the book because I knew she was gonna forgive him within 2 months and without him redeeming himself.

Caden and Shiloh FINALLY find their happily-ever-after in this second installment of The Granger's series. Caden and Shiloh are my favorite!

This is my favorite of all the Granger books. The way Mrs. Jackson describes Caden Granger’s love for Shiloh, the intensity and fierceness of his love for her takes my breath away. Caden is willing to do anything to make up for how he hurt Shiloh and it’s so beautiful to witness. Shiloh stands her ground about moving on from Caden, but the drama that unfolds leaves no room for distance between them. I. Just. Love. Caden and Shiloh!

After reading the first book in this series I felt compelled to read the second, because of the murder/mystery that spans both tomes. I am very happy that I didn't stop after the first book, because the series has evolved into an extremely exciting and tantalizing storyline. I can hardly wait to begin the next book in the series.👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

Book 2 of the "Granger Series" was so damn Brilliant!!!!!! Another stellar story by author extraordinaire Brenda Jackson.

This is middle brother Caden's story, world renowned saxophone player, Grammy winner and every other music award. Along with his two brothers Jace and Dalton, they promised their dying grandfather that they would all come back together to help rebuild the family business, which they had no idea was on the brink of bankruptcy. Their dad Sheppard Granger has been in jail for the past 15 years for the murder of his wife (which he did not do). The truth is out there somewhere but Shep's refusal to have his case reopened with a new team of attorney's doesn't make a bit of sense, except he knows that whomever killed his wife, will go after his three grown sons.

Caden has everything he has ever wanted, except for the love of his life Shiloh Timmons. A story about two childhood best friends who would become lovers and soulmates, for only the unthinkable to happen, sending everyone into a tailspin of heartache, bitterness, regret, brokenness and unforgiveness. In the last story, Shiloh goes to Caden again to tell him what happened all those years ago, only to be turned away again but this time, she will not come back to be humiliated by him again.

For Caden what he was so dead set on being the ultimate betrayal by the only woman he has ever loved was too much for him, he wanted nothing to do with Shiloh, he didn't even want to hear her name or ever see her face. But an unlikely visitor, a bombshell confession shatters everything that Caden believed and in a race against time, he will try and recapture the one woman who very names makes him inhale and exhale. But will Caden be too late? Has the damage been done to the point were it is irreparable? Well you will just have to read it to find out.

Here we get to see Jace and Shana (Book 1), Hannah who is like the boys mother, Shep who is still in jail but has a secret love himself (Go Shep Woot! Woot!), and a team of hidden bodyguards sworn to protect and keep the Granger men safe. There are deadly secrets that the townspeople are willing to kill for, betrayals within families, so called friends and murder. Book 2 has definitely been kicked up a few notches so please hold on to your seat belts or better yet strap yourselves in because this is going to be a crazy ride.

The scene stealer for me is Dalton Granger, he is the youngest, extremely smart and a billionaire but is funny as heck. Dalton will have you rolling on the floor all the while looking at your Kindle/Nook saying (did he just say what I think he said LOLL!!!!). Dalton Granger's story is next and his book is "A Lover's Vow" and this will be the final story for "The Grangers" series.

Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!

Is a promise always kept? Is love always and forever? Can you be convicted for a crime you didn’t do? Is a brother’s honor and a man’s promise things that will keep you going and believing in true love. These are questions I wanted to know when I read this book by author Brenda Jackson. Well, I would say the answer is YES to them all.

In this book, A Man’s Promise, Caden Granger and his love interest Shiloh Timmons is in the spotlight with their drama and romance. Their off and on relationship pulls you in to where you want it to end with a happily ever after. In the meantime, you are confronted with other characters in the book that have equal love stories but not so much drama – whew! Beautiful, beautiful love stories that touched my heart. (smile)

Now, don’t get to comfy because this is a scandalous story so lurking in the background is who murdered Caden’s mother (Sylvia Granger) and sent his father to prison to serve a 30 years jail sentence for it. While getting to the answers or solving the murder, Brenda Jackson introduces many more flawed characters with shady backgrounds all back dropped in a small town called Charlottesville, VA.

Let me back up a little for you, it all started with a grandfather who was on his dying bed summoned his 3 grandsons (Jace, the oldest, Caden the middle child and Dalton the youngest) who he helped raise when their mother was murder and father found guilty for her murder went to prison. He asked the three brothers to help the family business, Granger Aeronautics, to get back on top of the aerospace game winning government contracts while helping free their father from prison too. Big Job!!! – But someone has to do it – why not family members – right?

Trust me when I tell you this is a great book to read. It can be a stand-alone book but if you really want to uncover the real story and solve the mystery faster, then read book 1 “A Brother’s Honor first then read this one. However, if you are good sleuth then by all means dive right into this story with book 2. Since this is a trilogy Mrs. Jackson had to save the big WOW for book 3 – Dalton’s story. I know we are in for a treat because you get a sneak peek at his crazy antics in this story. It should be funny, witty, scandalous, conclusive and all so sexy. (Wink)

What can I say Mrs. Jackson have done it again, A MAN'S promise Is the second book In this trilogy. A BROTHER 'S HONOR is the first book in this three book trilogy. If you haven't read the first book yet I would advise to read that first, because if not you have miss a great book. This is a series about three brothers who was grown and had gone out into the world leading their own lives until their grandfather had an heart attack. The brothers had to return home to take care of their grandfather, but he didn't make it, but they had maked a promise to their grandfather to return home to run the family business. Now here is where every thing start happening OH I forgot to tell you that the father is in prison, because he was supose to have killed their mother when they was young boys. The father is in prison, for a murder he dibn't commit, the grandfather died from a heart attack they say and some one is trying to take over the family business now if that isn't suspense, mystery and cospiracy. This is Caden Granger and Shiloh Timmons love story, Caden and Shiloh have been in love with each other for years, but there are people who always tryed to keep them apart. Ever after Shiloh father died some one is still trying to keep them apart. Okay here come the good part some one is trying to kill Caden in this story, In A Brother s Honor some one was trying to kill Jace, Caden older brother. I guess Caden and Shiloh love story will have to wait, because this have really got good now. I want to know who killed Sylvia Granger, who killed the grandfather and why, and what group is that who wants Sheppard to stay in prison. Just stay tune it have really got good now.

The second in a series, it took me a while to get all the characters straight and to keep them that way, although several were introduced in the first story in this series. Caden is one of three sons of Shepperd Granger, in jail for the murder of his wife. His sons believe he is innocent, but have not looked into finding out who killed their mother because their dad has convinced them not to.

In this story, sandwiched around the romance of Caden for Shiloh, we learn that the boys' mother, NOT the father, was having an affair and that she might have been doing more than one man other than her husband.

Several people the boys, now men, have trusted are now suspect, including Shiloh's own father and maybe her brother, who is not happy when she elopes with Caden. But, his band manager, also tries to kill him to cover gambling debts with the million dollar insurance policy he took out on Caden, the sax headliner in the band Granger manages.

Who killed Mrs. Granger will probably be revealed in the story that focuses on Dalton, who already has the hots for the PI hired by Caden to find out who tried to run him down. I was disappointed not to find out who the bad people were and why they seem to be targeting all three Granger brothers and others in their circle of friends and acquaintances. Obviously, the author wants me to read the next book. I'll try to hold back my frustrations until it becomes available.

No matter how hard people try they cannot keep true love apart. Caden Granger and Shiloh Timmons have been friends since they were younger. This friendship soon turns into something more but after the death of his mother they are torn apart by Shiloh father. Though they believe they were apart for two different reasons neither party knows what has truly happened to break them apart. When her father dies Shiloh learns the truth of what her father did but still refuses to go to Caden with it even though she loved him. Steaming from what he believes is betrayal Caden isn't looking for love or anything that comes with it plus someone is trying to kill him. With all this going on Caden soon learns the truth and that he wants nothing more than to have Shiloh by his side. Those granger man you have to love them. The second book in a trilogy "A Man's Promise" is definitely worth the read. I recommend you read the first granger story "A Brother's Honor" but this book can stand alone. Love, honor and commitment is definitely what a woman wants and each book so far has given us just that. This books deserves 5 stars if you have not read it go get it NOW. Mrs. Jackson you did again hats off to you.

This is the second of a three book series about three brothers whose lives were forever changed when their father was wrongly convicted of their mother's murder. When their father is sentenced to 30 years the brothers are raised by their paternal grandfather who calls them homewhenhe suffers a major heart attack. The brothers make a deathbed promise to their Grandfather to save the family company and prove their father's innocence. Middle brother Caden takes center stage in A Man's Promise when he is forced to face the one true love of his life whom he believes betrayed him in the most hurtful way. Ms. Jackson weaves a beautiful story of rekindled love and mystery. The clues as to who is trying to ruin Granger Aeronautics and why Sheppard Granger is still serving time for a crime he did not committ take several twists and turns. A wonderful bonus are the blossoming love stories of other key characters and the hillarious setup of youngest brother Dalton's love story. Do yourself a huge favor and read A Brothers Honor to get ready for A Man's Promise. I can't wait for Book 3 ~~ it is gonna be a blockbuster!

There are three books about the Grangers, each with one brother as the hero. The brothers did not work in the family company but each followed his dream. Having promised their grandfather on his deathbed to take over managment they try to discover the mole in their company. Solving this mystery goes on during the three books, and the culprits are revealed in the last chapter.

This book is a stand alone in regard to romance, each brother finds his match.
Caden and Shiloh's story is a second-chance-romance.

I am a stickler for timelines and those are just terrible in each book.

The writing is questionable, too many food analogies.

This is the second book in the Granger's series. Their mother was murdered and their father wrongly convicted of the murder. The brother's were raised by their grandfather, before he died he call them all home and they made him a deathbed promise to save the company.

Superstar musician Caden Granger has spent years running from love, commitment, and family.
Shiloh always held Caden's heart and he was always the man for her. Lies, misunderstandings, secrets, hurt and betrayal. Caden makes Shiloh a promise.....A Man's Promise to win back her love and trust and put her back in his life where she belongs.

Mrs. Jackson gives you a little insight on Dalton's the youngest brother, relationships and what you can expect from his story.
There are so many twists and turns in this story that have you on the edge waiting on the next installment to see what happens. So pick up A Brother's Honor if you haven't already, then read A Man's Promise.

As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. After reading A Brother's Honor I was anxiously awaiting the next installment of the Grangers! I was pulled in with the detail and intrigue. The clues are popping up, the plot thickens and every where you turn there is love, love, love. Caden and Shiloh's story drags you in, you feel apart of the action. This is getting bigger than one couple. The story is well written and the supporting characters are string enough to stand alone. Not to give too much away but the heat and friction ignite like sparklers in the night sky. Caden is man big enough to admit when he's wrong and smart enough to fight for what he wants. Shiloh has been hurt, is she willing to risk her heart again? You have got to get this book and if you missed the first in the series run to your nearest store and pick up a copy or better yet download to your e-reader :-)

The Saga Continues….

Caden Granger was well worth the wait! Caden and Shiloh were once in love and planned to marry despite her family’s disregard for the Granger family. We learned Shiloh doesn’t show for the wedding in “A Brother’s Honor” and Caden doesn’t handle it well. Once Caden understands that he misjudged Shiloh and their split was a result of family interference, Caden is determined to win her back. Caden makes a promise to regain Shiloh’s love and trust. The phrase on the back on the book sums it all up - A man's word is his bond. His family is his strength. His heart is his own. I loved Caden’s determination to right his wrong and Shiloh’s strength to not make it easy for him. In the midst of their new beginnings, A Man’s Promise is filled with more secrets, mystery and suspense. Who is trying to kill Caden? Is it connected to their mother’s death? I can’t wait for the conclusion of the Granger saga!

I love this book, part 2 of three about the Granger brothers. Caden is the sexy musician of the bunch. His story is of a lie that slow to come to light from an unlikely source, However, Caden goes about righting the wrong after a few years.

However, the bigger mystery is who killed Caden's mother over 15 years ago. His father is serving time for a crime that has left the young men scarred but determined. Jace, his older brother shares a secret with their younger brother Dalton. Dalton has quite a few ups and downs in this sequel to "A Brother's Honor". However, his story is coming...

Mrs Jackson knocks it out of the park with installment of the Grangers. Being a Virginian, it gives me pride to hear about all the wonderful parts of Charlottesville told in this story.

This has been the motto for Jace, Caden, and Dalton Granger since their father was put in jail for the murder of their mother fifteen years ago. As adults they are trying to save Granger Aeronautics, keep a promise to their grandfather, look for love and stay alive.
A Brother's Promise and A Man's Promise each gives you just enough romance, drama, mystery, and mayhem to keep you turning the pages asking for more. The books leave you with a few answers, more questions, and the shock value has you waiting on book 3.

I don't think this series will stop with three books because I for one want to know about the other sons and Carson. All my friends get your copy of A Brother's Promise you will enjoy.

This is the second book in the series and it's as good as the first book. Caden Granger and Shiloh Timmons were more than sweethearts four years ago, they were to meet in Los Vegas to get married but Shiloh never showed. Now Caden is back to help out with his families business and he finds out Shiloh is back in town also. When he finally finds out why she didn't show in Vegas they talk and bet back together.

The mystery that surrounds the business and their fathers imprisonment continues in this book with some issues coming to light.

I can't wait for Dalton's book because there is so much anger there.
