The Forever Trilogy hasn't ended yet...now it's time for Connor & Ellery's son to tell his story...

I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Collin Black, and I’m the future CEO of Black Enterprises. At twenty-two years old, I’m living the American dream, or at least my version of it. I’m rich, fit, sexy, and no matter where I go, women are always throwing themselves at me. I love to party, and when I do, it can sometimes lead to trouble.

Women. What can I say? One woman broke my heart which led me to close myself off so it could never happen again. I’ve become one of New York’s most eligible bachelors and bad boy. I leave a trail of broken hearts wherever I go.

Until her.

This is my journey of going through the ups and downs of life as I climb the corporate ladder, heal a broken heart, and discover that there’s more life than what I thought.

She. Changed. Everything.

I love Black family. The story of Connor and Ellery stole my heart. And I went through their love journey together through Ellery's POV then Coonor's POV. Then I also went through their after HEA ij their family journey.
Their story is honest about relationship from friendship, lover, then husband and wife and ultimately parenthood.

So I was looking forward for Collin. But boy, I was so disappointed. In Collin I feel like I am reading a elementary grade school characters. I do not like Collin. He is very immature. He is acting as Amelia's therapist after Amelia confide in him her horrible past. And how Collin cure Emilia? By saying "I love you". I am rolling my eyes and sighed.

This is so bad. I feel Collin is taking advantage of Amelia.
I only credit 2 stars because I can see a glimpse of Connor and Ellery. I am so happy they still both in love.

----------------------------------

I liked the story, but I thought it was a repeat of his father's history.
Womanizer and drunk is saved from embarrassing and dangerous situation for woman who will be the love of his life.
Has an ex who is a bitch.
Our heroine has a traumatic past that the hero helps to overcome.
The characters of the previous books appear and give a special color to the story.
The author writes very well and the story holds the reader's attention.

We all remember our first heartbreak and the person we thought we would be with forever. But sometimes fate has a different plan for us.
I loved collins story. "The apple doesn't fall very far from the tree." There is never a shortage of booze and women with the Black men. That is until they meet the women who changes their life FOREVER. You will love Collin and Amelia but that's not the only special relationship Collin has...He also has jacob. Jacob is a very special Lil boy who will steal your heart just as he stole Collins.
I must admit I usually lose interest in a series after the 3rd book but Sandi has kept me interested in very single book. I enjoy seeing how the Black family has grown. And to think this great family started with helping a drunk stranger home.
As always Sandi awesome job. ..I can't wait to read A Forever Family being released next year.

just when I think I couldn't love the black family anymore. this was by far my favorite!!!!. and Connor and Ellery were hilarious.

Collin is Connor's son for sure. I thought that this would be his and Hailey's story, but turns out we meet Amelia. I was so glad because she is a perfect fit for Collin.

He's heartbroken over the breakup with Hailey and meets Amelia in the Hamptons. The way they meet makes you think of Connor and Ellery again. Similar, but different situations. We learn more about Amelia and I felt for her because she lost everything and the last 2 years she's been alone. Her and Collin start spending time together and from there the relationship grows.

The both of them were what each other needed to heal and I loved seeing that happen with them. When things are going well for them, Hailey comes back and drops a bombshell. Let me just say after the way she treated Collin, I really didn't feel bad for her. Its sad what happened to her, but after everything with Collin, I was team Amelia all the way!!

I loved Collin's relationship with his parents, but I especially love his and Julia's relationship. This book was a great read and I loved it every minute of it <3. You'll shed some tears at certain parts, but it will all come together :) Another fave: Jacob :) His and Collin's relationship..awesome! What he and Connor did for Jacob and his mom was amazing!

As usual Sandy, thanks for the wonderful story and I cant wait until A Forever Family is released next year :) I wish we didn't have to say goodbye to the Black Family at that time, but all good things must come to an end.

One of my favorite series! If you haven't read the Forever series, I highly recommend it :)

Collin is book four in the Forever Series, Sandi is one amazing writer. Collin stole my heart right from the beginning, I could relate to how he was feeling and thinking. He is so much like Connor and the Black family have this amazing love and friendship that you fall in love with them all over again.

Everyone is worried about Collin, a lot of drinking and lots of sex but he still goes to work, he's numbing his pain. He picks himself up and realises that isn't the way to live. Love happens when you least expect it, sometimes it's friendship, sometimes it's your soul mate. The bad boy player to begin with but what he does after is truly amazing and I couldn't help but swoon and want more. Amelia is closed off and I wondered why, all is revealed and I wanted to give her a hug. She's amazing and they fit together perfectly but Amelia doesn't want friendship let alone love. In Collin you'll meet a few new characters as well and they will steal your heart.

I loved Collin and Amelia's story, I'm still thinking about it now after over a week. Beautifully written and an amazing story from start to finish. I can't wait for A Forever Family.

Collin is so similar to Connor. He is a bad boy but he is at the same time also considerate, values his family, generous.

He has come out of a 4 yr relationship and he is heartbroken because he thinks she was the one and for some time but then he gets back on track and then he meets Amelia. She is very complicated, closed but they both feel the vibe, with each other that makes them so comfortable with each other and they start their relationship as friends just like Connor and Ellery, which is so special.

This book ends with a cliffhanger kinda situation which is going to be continued in the next book.

The Forever Series is one of my all time favorites and Collin has made me fall in love with them even more.

Collin was hurt by his first love and he vowed to not get close or let himself fall in love with another woman again. He drank too much and had sex with a different girl each night to help him forget what Hailey did to him. Connor and Ellery are worried about him and recognize that he is acting just like Connor did before meeting Ellery.

As messed up as Collin is, he has a huge heart. He befriended a sick boy on an airplane and helped him and his mother out by giving them a place to stay while Jacob receives treatment for CF. He also got Jacobs mother a job at Black Enterprises. Collin becomes very close and emotionally attached to them both.

Collin goes to the beach house to get away and ends up passed out drunk on the beach. Like his father years earlier, Collin was helped home by a beautiful woman, Amelia, who literally tripped over him on the beach. There was something about Amelia that drew Collin to her. He could sense a deep pain and sadness in her. Neither one of them were looking for love or a relationship, but end up drawn to the other.

This is a story about healing and finding love and family. I loved Collin and Amelia's story and I loved having more of Connor and Ellery and their unending love and sexual antics.

oh my gosh!

Okay 1st of all, the cliff hanger of an ending😭😭😭😭
Whyyyyy. Collin why take that moment away from your mother!!
I love the forever series. The black family is just so beautiful and I love that they continue the series by moving onto the next generation that is Julia and Collin. I had read all the other books in this series prior to this before. But this was the 1st time I’ve read Collins book and OH MY GOSH.

I really love how concise, blunt and straight to the point Collin was with every conversation he had with Hailey once he was with Amelia. There was no beating around the bush. He made it very clear every single time that he was no longer there for her because Amelia is his world now. THAT is how the guy should handle his ex. There was no possibility of misunderstandings and Amelia never had to worry about “what if” with Collin and hailey. I love that!

I am obsessed with this family. Collin’s behaviour being exactly like Connors is hilarious i and I love it so much. He took after Conner and Julia took after Ellery.

The series just keeps getting better and better with each boom and I love it.

On to the last book now!

My my my it was like reading more Connor Black. Collin was definitely a chip off the old block but unlike Connor, he atleast had a beautiful tight knit family to try and help keep him on the straight and narrow. And what an amazing family they all are. So beautiful to read. There is so much love it's overwhelming. Even with a few hiccups they are a perfect family. Collin and Hailey were together so long you can understand his hurt and rebellion. It's a good thing it never ruined Ellerys and Paytons friendship. When Collin meets his 'one' it makes him realise what he felt as a kid was not the real thing, a lot of the time it isn't but there are the rare occasion that first loves are also the last. He finally grows up!! I loved Amelia, sure she had issues and fears and Collins method to help her heal were rough but they worked. Gotta feel sorry for the guy, living with his parents when they are both still very much and love and ain't afraid to show it. Loved the small snippets we got of Connor and Ellery, and can't wait for A Forever Family.

Forever Me Sandi Lynn

Oh my!

That was a really lovely story, about mending broken hearts.

Two very broken people getting by, happen to trip over each other and slowly mend each other and bring immense happiness and joy to their lives.

Colin..... Just like his daddy Connor! What a sweetheart, not a selfish spoilt brat, he had a really lovely heart even though he thought his was broken!

I did wonder what happened to Hilary, but she showed courage and I feel she went away to find herself but unfortunately she had a crap time and thought that she could pick up where she left off!

So again like his dada, Collin gets himself passed out drunk to help him get over Hilary's betrayal, by using drink and women. He even felt sorry for breaking umpteen womens hearts! but he managed! LOL

When we first meet Amelia, I immediately thought history is being repeated - ahh so sweet! Amelia was also a really sweet good natured person, but got a bit defensive when Collin wanted to thank her for helping him, I did want to shake her by her shoulders then we got her story! Such Sadness.

This story had me welling up more times than I'd have liked!

The interaction between the whole Black family was really lovely, Julia has really settled and came over so much more mature.

Of course, Ellery and Connor still so much in love, that's lovely to see too! It was great catching up on some of the other characters albeit briefly, and even Ian and Rory got a mention.

Collin and Amelia has a few bridges to cross, and they really dealt with them all beautifully.

What a sweet and caring young man Collin turned out to be, the chance meeting of Jacob on the plane, the beginning of true friendship they really did go above and beyond the call of duty. They did these things with the goodness of their hearts, never having ulterior motives!

When Hilary came back, I admit I was a tad worried but Collin stood steadfast and realised that he had really moved onto much better things.

I did feel for Amelia when she started meeting the Blacks, but they were all so welcoming.

Oh how sad, poor Denny he really was the king pin for the Black household, a voice of wisdom. buckets and buckets were shed!

I'm sure this wasn't an overly emotional books but it touched something in me!

I loved how supportive Collin was with Amelia, getting her back into the land of living, she had been dealing with such sorrow they really were each other's crutches.

Loved the Vegas trip, but Holy Canoli, can't wait for the reactions to follow! :)

So happy that we've been able to see the 'little Black's' grow into wonderful caring people. You did a great job Sandi.

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES!

I read the first three books in this series and then thought it was over and now I'm just finding the rest of the series and I'm tickled to death. It's been an amazing journey getting to find out more about Julia and Collin's lives. It was so great to see them find happiness as full of love as their parents. I'm not done yet. I still have 2more books to read and I can't freakin wait. I laughed and cried so much. When Collin and Julia would get on their parent about getting all mushy in front of everyone cracked me up. And when Denny died my heart was ripped out. I was wondering though, what happened to his wife Dana? It never says. I never thought I could love Collin more than I already did but when he meets Jacob and Diana on the plane I was so overwhelmed at his love and generosity. Then getting to know Jacob and Diana I just can't say how over the top overjoyed I am with this series. When Collin and Jacob get so attached to each other I cried and every time Jacob got to experience something new because of Collin I'd cry again. Lol! So yea, I did alot of crying. Lol. When Mason shows up at the airport when Julia has the baby with her was so funny. He didn't bother saying hi to the rest of the family just give me that little prince. Lol. And to watch Collin and Amelia fall deeper and deeper in love was so heartwarming. I just can't say enough. I could go on and on about how much I love the Black family but I'll stop now. Lol. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE! Thank you Sandi so much.

Well worth the wait!!!!

fantastic story Collin you are so much like your daddy =]

Sandi Lynn has done it again and delivered another knock out, the story carries on from Being Julia as you follow Collin on his journey of what can only be called self-destruction. Ellery and Connor are at their finest and lets just say Collin doesn't like upsetting the momma bear.

Collin goes through life of work, partying and laying it out with all the ladies, doesn't that remind you of someone else in his early days?

Heartbroken and out of control it takes to meeting Diana and her son Jacob for Collin to finally realise he is well off track and needs to get his act together.

A trip to the family beach house will change Collin's life forever, where a scene so similar to book 1 will start a new journey and course for him.

All your fave Black family and friends are in this book and keep an eye out for someone closely ;-)

Denny is back being dad to them all and the young Black gets a lecture just like old times =]

Sandi Lynn takes you through the emotions with this one i have never cried so much either from laughing and sadness.

Oh and what an ending, i bet you'll be dying for A Forever Family, when the whole series will come to a perfect end.

Congratulations on another amazing book i am blown away xxxx

Sandi Lynn you have done it again! I absolutely fell in love with Collin. The way you showed how he was broken and didn't want to admit that he was until he met the "real" love of his life Amelia. How Amelia was broken and thought it was easier to push everyone away and not accept that the accident was not her fault just because she survived until she met the "real" love of her life Collin. The way they healed each other was heartwarming. This book had sadness, happiness and laughter. I was saddened that you wrote Denny out but absolutely loved his letter to the family. I wish you would have told us what was in the letter to Connor. I was surprised that the baby did not have a part of Denny in his name. I also loved how you still kept the entire family in the book and we were updated about them. I am especially happy that you didn't change Connor and Ellery and how they drove the kids nuts with their chemistry! I absolutely LOVED the ending and the proposal. Although the way you ended it was TOTALLY MEAN!! Having to wait until A Forever Family in 2015 to read about Ellery's reaction to them getting married without her was genius!

A rich spoiled kid who can't take well when relationship ended. drunk, sex, n ....... Until he met Amelia, a girl who closed herself for two years after her whole family n boyfriend die in boat accident.

Fate made Collin met The sick boy on plane, n fate bought Collin being the big brother of the sweet boy and protector of the family, Collin not the sweet boy of the father n mother, little brother of the family, spoiled rich kid anymore, he is a real man.

Sorry for what Hailey experience, her parents are nice couple but maynot a good parent. Haliey just another spoiled rich kid.

HEA n looking forward a forever family.

I'm once again blown away by the Black Family!!!! There are so many similarities between Collin and Connor that I couldn't help but relive the whole story over. I couldn't put it down! I laughed, cried, and rolled my eyes at the thought of the sexy, smart, and cocky Collin Black. Having the love and support of his family put that 'Beautiful' factor in it for me, and made me see once again how intense these people love one another. Collin is, after all his father's son, and for that we can only feel that all the obstacles and heartache he has to get through will lead him to find his FOREVER. Great story, and definitely one of my new favorite rereads!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

I couldn't wait to read Collin's. Collin is so much like his father Connor that it's like reading Forever Black all over again. Collin had his heart broken and gets drunk and winds up on the beach where Amelia trips over Collin and it's not until the next day that he finally meets her and he knows there is something about her that just wants him to get to know her. Amelia is going through a tragic time and Collin could be just want she needs to lift her up. I love the Black family. Ellery and Connor are still in love and it shows every time they are together. Amazing series, amazing characters that I will never forget

I thought this book was awful. I'm sorry but I loved Forever Black series (the first 3 books). This seemed forced or maybe thrown together in a hurry. I still stand by what I said : Ok, reading this book is like reading a first time author with their first book. I thought after the 5th or 6th book the writing would be better. I loved the first 3 Forever Black series but this one is for the birds. This story was about Elle and Connor's son Collin. He was in love and his girlfriend broke up with him and left. He turned into a drunk. Then he meets another girl he falls in love with and on their first fight he turns into a drunk. See the pattern....Anyway, I do not recommend.

If it was possible to be adopted by a fictional family the Black's would be that family. Collin truly is his fathers son at the start of this book, he's had his heart broken and is lashing out using drink and women. Two things change his life, he meets Jacob and his mum Diane and he meets Amelia, he quickly realises Amelia is different. The whole family is back Connor and Ellery are still loved up much to the embarrassment of their kids, Julia and Jake are starting their family, Mason, Landon and Denny are all there. Collin needs to let go off the past to move forward with the future. I love love this series, can't wait for the next one.

Just in case I couldn't love the Black family more, Sandi brings me Collin! He is so much like his father, it is crazy! But the story was beautiful and made me want more! Collin is sweet, and has a heart of gold, however, he was wounded. It just goes to show that when you find the right person, you just know. It was wonderfully written, and it was hard not to fall in love with Collin the bad boy, and Collin the wounded boy who just needed to find the right woman who made him want to be a different man. Loved it. Another must read from Sandi Lynn

I finished it in under 4 hours. Best day off in ages! You'll not be disappointed with this book. If you haven't read the books before this I recommend you do before reading this. Amazing job sandi Lynn

I haven't put any spoilers or info about the book in this review purely because it's release day!

I fucking love Sandi Lynn & I fucking love the Black family. This book was freakin awesome ! I love Connor & Ellery, they are the all time best book couple ever ! Their kids Julia & Collin are such great kids. Collin was so sweet & he is so much like his Daddy it was so bittersweet reading this book. I absolutely loved him & Amelia & I'm so glad he found someone to mend his broken heart( Hailey is a little bitch) . My only complaint is the way it ended, it didn't seem finished.

This was amazing - not only Collin's story but the rest of the Black family included. I loved the storyline and characters and could not put the novel down since I received it this morning. And there is the added bonus that there is another novel on it's way next year. Sandi, both you and Connor (he is still awesome) rock. A stellar effort worthy of five stars! Loved it!

Sandi has outdone herself again! I loved this addition to the Forever series. The apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree in "Collin". I laughed and cried as I always do with this family. I am so excited that this isn't the last we will hear from this family, but I'm going to go crazy until the 2015 release.
