Small town Mississippi boy John Reed needs a vacation. As luck would have it, his sister is renovating her home in Hawaii, and as an architect he's bound to be useful. I appreciate that it represents a real life kind of love. At times the main male character gets too detailed and lengthy in his descriptions. I skipped those paragraphs and lost nothing of the story. Those times make sense though given the character's profession. I really like that it reads quickly. The story keeps moving without feeling like huge gaps of time were taken in the story. I'm on to reading Dale's follow up story - "Why Roses?"
