When dying becomes an act of love.

It is four years since Taylor and Brody almost lost Veris during the First Crusade. Now they know how to control time jumps, they have settled into a very nearly perfect, nearly human life, raising their daughter Marit.

When Brody defies Queen Tira to protect Marit, the three of them jump back three days in time to collect evidence the queen set up Brody for a drug bust in retribution. The jump sends them back to Brody's personal nightmare: Fifth century Constantinople.

While Brody survives as a flogged slave, Taylor masquerades as the wife of an aristocrat and  searches for Brody to release him. They must wait for Veris to find them before jumping home and Taylor watches each brutal chariot race, wondering if this will be Brody's last. Brody once died in the Hippodrome and he is human this time, too....

Warning: This story features two super hot alpha vampire heroes, multiple sex scenes, including anal sex, MM sexual play, and MMF sex. Do not read this book if frank sexual language and sex scenes offend you.
The time-space continuum was restored to order at the end of this book. Promise.

In order to stop the Queen, Brody, Veris and Taylor jump back three days to collect evidence but the jump sends them back to Brody's personal nightmare in this emotionally gripping paranormal romance.

If Brody hasn't already won your heart, then be prepared because he sure going to capture it now. The love between Brody, Veris and Taylor still proves to be strong, sure and enviable as their desires for each other continues to grow even hotter as time goes on or in their case in whatever time they find themselves in. Brody's horrific past causes quite a bit of emotional turmoil for our characters as they strive to survive fifth century Constantinople long enough to jump back home and the reader can't help but get caught up in the all the differences that time makes while the love continues to hold these characters together. The steady to fast paced plot captivates readers with lots of suspense, excitement, and romance not to mention drawing them in with a sense of discovery as they get to know part of Brody's past.

Anticipation and tension builds throughout the story as the Queen's actions set an emotionally charged time jump in motion and causes quite a bit of mayhem for our characters, especially Brody. There's also a bit of excitement and expectation as we are introduced to new characters and of course time changes everything so the jump itself adds new characters as well and along with some unexpected twists keep readers guessing as to what will happen next, especially since Taylor has a few surprises up her sleeves too. The story and all its time periods are brought to life with vivid imagery that captures the imagination and the fascinating story draws readers in and refuses to let go.

I swear that somehow I lost quite a bit of time because I was so caught up in this story I forgot all about dinner and everything else for that matter and I really can't wait to read the next Kiss Across Time adventure.

Kiss Across Chains is the third installment of the ""Kiss"" Series. This book, as do the others, involve three main characters Veris, Brody, and Taylor. Veris and Brody are bisexual vampires and have been lovers over hundreds of years. They are united with Taylor in book one and their menage is complete. Book 2 tells the story of Veris' past history. This book focuses on the past history of Brody. It's very important to read the entire series.

I was anxious to begin reading Brody's story because his character was very stable and loving. He also revealed his past history with slavery and it seemed to haunt him. I couldn't wait to delve deeper into what made him react as he did. While trying to clear Brody's name the three of them time traveled into Brody's past when he was enslaved. From that point on it was a mix of adventure, intrigue, and enough plot twists to make it painful to put down. Brody and Taylor arrived in the past together at a time when Brody was human, but Veris arrived much later just in time to save the day. The plot detailed a number of violent acts suffered by Brody, and Taylor's clever strategies to keep them both alive while waiting for Veris. I was so caught up in this book I was in tears reading about the many ways Brody was abused. I could feel Taylor's pain as she worked to save Brody and accept that he had to die to become a vampire. It was just heart wrenching, and the author's imagery and descriptive words made it very easy to transport yourself into Veris, Taylor, or Brody's shoes. This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions, and I enjoyed every moment.

With the depth of character development continuing and an exciting storyline that involves new and familiar characters this book is a must read for all paranormal romance fans.

Kiss Across Time series is a trilogy, yet can be read as stand alone. Book #1 introduced the menage relationship (the heroine, Taylor). Book #2 tested the menage relationship (one male hero, Veris). Book #3 solidified the menage relationship (second male hero, Brod). That’s the way I saw it. It was not one book for each character but the accent was a little bit more pronounced for each book with one particular character.

I liked the characters both males and female. I liked that they were not perfect. I also enjoyed the plot. It was never boring with too much details. However, what I felt was lacking was the sex scenes. The accent was more on the plot rather than the eroticism.

So overall I really had a good time reading this series and I recommend it.

I'm captivated by this trio! I loved the heart-stopping anticipation, action and passion.

The same menage trio from books #1-3 are strong characters being thrown into challenging situations made more so by conniving and manipulating adversaries.
Facing the horror of an emotionally and physically traumatic past added another layer of depth to the characters as each faced different aspects of a personal challenge.
The trio's rapport and commitment to each other shines true as they strive to ensure they don't mess with critical parts of their history so that they will all survive into the future.

There were surprises at every cunning plot twist and turn as history is revisited. Details and descriptions of settings and events brought history to technicolor life.

The addition of new characters mixed up the dynamics and intrigued me to know where they (will) fit into the trios' life.
Bated breath anticipation and tension kept me completely enthralled throughout the book.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series after this exciting finish with lots of hints of more more more...

I HIGHLY recommend this series and advocate reading all of them and in order.

Kiss Across Chains: A Vampire Time Travel Ménage Romance Novel (Kiss Across Time Series Book 3) Tracy Cooper-Posey
Genre:  Fantasy/Paranormal Romance
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
I loved book one A Kiss across Time ( which is currently free on amazon so well worth trying ) so when Tracy offered me the rest of the series to review I jumped at the chance.
I’m now on to book three, its eight years since they first got together, and they’ve married ( in Tibet I think?) – all of them, and they have a delightful – and incredibly intelligent – five years old daughter. An earlier jump resulted in Taylor being pregnant, as they’d gone back to when Veris was human and so....hey, he’s fertile too!  They’ve finally worked out some of the mystery about the jumps, and how to time them, but it’s still dangerous and they’ve not gone far back in time since that last big one to the Crusades. .
Now the Queen is curious, she’s heard the rumours and she wants to see and have the knowledge for herself. She won't accept they don’t know exactly why it happens, and to show she means business she sets Brody up in a drug bust...The three decide to slip back three days and set up traps to get evidenced to get Brody out of trouble. Clearly she Queen has gone to some trouble, its not just the local cops involved but she’s somehow brought in the big guns, and he could face jail for this. After his time as a slave back in Constantinople Taylor and Veris know he just can’t do that. He doesn't talk about it, but they do know he was a slave for 17 years, since he was a young boy, and he still has mental issues with it, even thought its so  many hundreds of years past. Something goes wrong though on their return, and instead of three days back, they are back to Constantinople. Brody is human again and a slave, and they know this is where he dies in a race and is made vampire....it’s horrible but they need to let things play out – they know changing the past carries huge repercussions. As ever though things go wrong, Taylor is trapped in the guise of a rich man’s wife, and Veris – he’s not even in the same country. They know somehow that they have to carry on until he reaches them...It’s a great read once again, full of mishaps and plans that go wrong, meaning they have to work hard to get events to play out as closely as they did so they don’t change the future too much. It takes a lot of plotting, Tracey comes up with things I’d never have though of in this “don’t change the future” scenario. I was just thinking rescue Brody once he’s vampire and go home, but of course the days they are there things happen, things change, they meet and interact with others, and it all needs careful thinking to ensure it comes out right and they get back to Marit and home as it was. There’s some surprises there too when they get back.
Its another hot, sexy, sensual read with a solid storyline and a book I loved. I’d happily re read this series, it has for me a perfect balance of fantasy story and sensuous sex.
Stars: Five, a cracking read once again and I’m looking forward to reading the final book ( at least I think the next is the last). Its a series for the keepers file for re reading

Ever since “Back to the Future” and learning about the space-time continuum, I have been fascinated with time travel. “Twilight” and “True Blood” created a love of vampires. Put them together and you have the terrific “Kiss Across Time” series by Tracy Cooper-Posey. The third installment, Kiss Across Chains, is an excellent addition to an already wonderful series.

After having read the first two books in the series, I could not wait to get started on Kiss Across Chains. I already knew that I loved the three main characters – Taylor, Veris and Body. Veris and Brody are vampires who have been together more than 1,000 years. Taylor is the human who completes this triad.

I absolutely loved the triad relationship. Taylor had her own special connection with each guy and Veris and Brody had their own special bond. While I am not typically a fan of M/M romance, I was completely won over by the tender caring between the heroes. Veris is an intellectual, but dominant personality. Brody is the romantic of the group despite his current role as the lead singer for a death metal band. Both men may be vampires, but they freely admit that Taylor is the powerful one in their relationship. Her love binds the three together and ensures that neither one gives up no matter what obstacles they may face.

Kiss Across Chains also provides a nice history lesson as the three are transported back in time to Constantinople and the chariot races of ancient Rome. Ms. Cooper-Posey’s writing transported me back in time as well and I felt the tension and fear as Brody returned to his greatest nightmare, being a slave and driving In the races. The abuses that Brody faced as a slave were horrific. I was brought to tears myself as Taylor struggled to hold back her own pain after seeing Brody beaten, starved and desolate. As the triad raced against time to fix the timeline, I felt the tension all the way to my toes.

In fact, throughout the book I found myself in a quandary. I desperately wanted to turn the page and see what was going to happen next; at the same time I was scared to turn the page because I was worried if this time jump was going to be the one that would permanently mess up the timeline. My head knew that as a romance novel, Kiss Across Chains had to have a happy ending. But my heart still felt the tension. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the book and I consider that a wonderful gift for a reader. That is the greatest compliment that I can give to a book and an author.

Kiss Across Chains can best be appreciated if you read the other books first. Each book provides a look into a different character’s past. Kiss Across Time starts it all explaining how the three came to be together. In Kiss Across Swords, Veris and Taylor travel back into Veris’ past and unwittingly change the course of Veris’ life. The trio then travels back in time to when Veris and Brody meet but Taylor’s presence complicates the situation and Taylor and Brody must fix things in order to ensure that the triad’s relationship is not permanently destroyed. Kiss Across Chains is the final installment; or is it? At the end of the book, Ms. Cooper-Posey includes a few pages that hint at more stories for the triad’s friend Alexander. I hope that this is case because I truly enjoyed this series and was sad for it to end. Kiss Across Chains is a must read for any fan of paranormal romance.

Even better than the one before! A quick recap. Read the first book and wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the rest of the series. Read the second and was very happy that I did as it was a lot more along the lines of the style I'm used to from this author. Read Kiss Across Chains, the third in the series and I just keep getting happier because it just keeps getting better. The first book introduced the three MCs, the second dealt with their relationship with Veris and some of his baggage and now this third book focuses on Brody and his tortured past.

This book focuses more on the history and relationships and a less on the consequences of time travel at least until the very end. It was an emotional read as we're confronted with how poorly humanity can treat each other often for no reason other than sport. I personally never really knew anything about chariot racing and how horrifying it was for the drivers/slaves. It was interesting to learn about that as I watched Brody experience it firsthand. His emotions: fear, pain, loss of hope were written very well and I was yearning for when Veris and Taylor would save him, but I knew that would be nearer the end of the book so it was one of those situations where you want to finish the book, but you don't want to finish the book. The love between the three is even stronger and more beautiful than ever. I'm not the wordsmith I wish I were so I don't know how to fully express how much I liked this book and how much I appreciate the authors talent at provoking thought, showing emotions and immersing us in history.

I definitely recommend this series and wish you happy reading!

Why five stars:
Would I re-read it? Yes, absolutely. If I never got around to reading the first two I would definitely re-read this one.
After a few days am I still thinking about it? Yes. Poor Brody and what all he went through :( But he's loved and he's ok now!
Did I connect/fall for any of the characters? Yes. They were all really great in this book.
Did I like the Heroine? Yes, she was strong, smart, and loving.

Kiss Across Chains continues the saga of Taylor, Veris and Brody. They’ve decided to stop jumping through time because it causes so many problems. But when they’re threatened by the queen of the vampires they have to make a jump, just three days into the past to fix it.

When they decided to jump back home, they end up in Constantinople, where Brody is a slave and human. Now, they have to get Veris, Brody and Taylor in the same place and get back to the present, without messing up their timelines.

This series is interesting series and provides us with a number of interesting conundrums.

When Brody and Veris travel through time, they inhabit their previous selves. When Taylor travels back, a whole new body is there for her. Yet, her body remains in the present. So, there are two Taylors. I’m extremely curious how that happens.

We also end up with a question about the space-time continuum. Yes, I’m embracing my inner Trekkie for this one! If they didn’t go back in time, how would that affect their present? Yet, if they do go back in time, they could annihilate themselves and alter the present. They would not only affect themselves, but others. But, if they didn’t travel back, would things have happened like they did in this present. See? It’s a conundrum!

Now, in most vampire stories, we only hear about their past lives. In this series, we get the pleasure of experiencing it with them. This is an interesting aspect to the stories. No matter what time or place Veris, Taylor and Brody find themselves, they end up in love and feeling very passionate about that love!

This is getting 4.5 stars from me even though it took me longer than usual to read it. The story is good and the characters are outstanding. This is another adventure for the threesome who have come together and found that with a simple kiss they can be transported across time, but only within their own personal timeline. The history is always well researched and gives you the feeling that you too have stepped back right along with them. The languages jump back and forth between English, Celtic, and old Norse with the old ones being accurate or not, I am going with they are accurate. There are some spelling and grammatical issues but nothing to serious.

The Queen, Tira, goes to Brody, Veris and Taylor demanding that they give her the secret to time travel. She not only threatens them but their daughter as well. When Brody stands up to her and refuses she makes life very difficult for the death metal rocker by setting him up to be arrested for drug possession. But things get even more intense as he is reminded of a time in his life when he was a slave and not able to live as he wished.

While attempting to get evidence that Brody was set up by jumping into their recent past things go a bit wrong. Brody had thought he had put the horror behind him and he could get them home with no problem, but surprise. They find themselves in Constantinople with Brody in chains, Taylor the wife of a patrician, and Veris across the country. Things could not have gone any worse.

I am totally drawn to the eroticism of the books the stories are always compelling and keep my interest more than the sex. This is a great way to get a history lesson. I think anyone would like this and I recommend highly.

Man, this series is rocking my socks off. This time traveling vampire menage never gets old. And now it's Brody's turn. Brody, the brooding, ex-slave musician who has a boatload of unresolved issues from his time in captivity. It's only fair that he gets his chance to work things out with the two loves of his very long life at his side.

I'm going to pause here and say that not only is the relationship between Veris, Brody, and Taylor fantastic, I love that the two guys have such *history* together. They love one another as deeply as they love Taylor. And also, the man-lovin' is pretty hot. *nods*

So. Constantinople. Brody's a slave, Veris is MIA, and Taylor has to pretend to be the wife of a wealthy dude. Brody's humanity puts him at risk and the miniscule changes that their very presence brings to his personal timeline could have dire consequences for all of them. It's nerve wracking watching them try to change nothing of importance knowing that Brody's time as a mortal is very nearly up. Seriously. Nerve wracking.

I'm especially excited that there look to be some hints dropped for potential future books. Alex makes some fundamental changes in his way of thinking and there's a new player in town that I'd love to see more of. There's always room for more time-traveling vampire menages if you ask me.

Fantastic ending to the overall arc, hot sex in time, and the potential for more shenanigans in the future. I am pleased.

I am still loving this series especially Brody. He is my favorite out of the two. I did really enjoy getting to see Constantinople and the chariot races. I really liked the time period chosen for the hop back and the fact that this makes Brody face his fears and hopefully conquer them.

I have to say this one was a little more predictable than the others in the series and this why I gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5. This does not mean that I liked it any less but I like being surprised and in this one I just knew what would happen before it happened in the book. However I believe what was written was necessary for the continuation of the series as well as getting to know Brody before he became a vampire. This time instead of trying to get out of there as soon as possible the trio has to stay and let history play out to make sure that it goes as close to the same as before.

I hated to see Brody suffer in this story. If I was in this story I don’t know if I would have been able to do what Taylor had to. Seeing Brody in the conditions that he had to live in and endure what he had to endure I can completely understand why he doesn’t like confined spaces or seeing or hearing about any type of slavery. This book really humanized Brody as well as Veris.

This series is a keeper for me and a must read for fans of time travel, vampires and ménage à trois. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment and I am also a little curious to see if each book will be 4 years apart or not.

I didn't think this series could get any better but OMG it is wonderful. Troubles have occurred at home so they time travel (since now they know how and why they time travel)to the recent past to straighten them out, but on the return trip home they are taken, instead of back to the present,to a horrific time in one of their lives. They are separated from each other and have to figure out how to work things out while they wait to once again be together. Things must happen as before in this time frame, if they are to be together in the future and therein stands their biggest problem for some things have already been changed. They're twist and turns, new characters are introduced, as well as characters they've met from past travels. The love and sexual passion is as strong as ever for the three. If you've read any of my previous reviews you know I don't do spoilers I just try to say enough to reel you in. Whatever you do, do not miss this amazing adventure of three people passionately devoted to one another, and what they go through to make sure they will always be together. I recommend, I recommend; and oh did I tell you I recommend this wonderfully written story to all who love reading about the paranormal, time travel but most of all love and sexual passion. Thank you Tracy Cooper-Posey for another amazing adventure.

I loved this book (not as much as book 2 but this one was awesome too). I really enjoyed how in book 1 the author introduced us to all three characters and we got to know more about Taylor. Then in book two we went back in time with all three of the characters but mainly focused on Veris. Now with book 3 we are going back in time to see the life of Brody before & how he became a vampire.
The absolute love between the three is so detailed that you feel like you could actually know these people in real life. The pure emotional ties that come from them just yank you right into the pages of these three books. To be so lucky to be Taylor, lol, poor thing having two handsome vampires waiting on her hand and foot, plus the sex...oh jeez the sex. Get out a fan and a spray bottle because you will need it when you read these three books. There is love, jealousy, wanting, needing and understanding throughout this roller coaster of a read so sit down, buckle up and enjoy the ride...it's well worth the money.

These books were my little guilty indulgence. Not the type of guilty of indulgence that requires you to read something literary (like Shakespeare) in an attempt to wash out your intellectually trampled mind. This was the "guilty indulgence" that you don't want to stop dipping into!! The stories (books 1-3) were awesome, time travel with fantasy, and a whole lot of suspense. Each environment and character was well thought out and portrayed. I wish I could find more books like this to read. Love time travel, vampires, and strong female characters...then look no further. And yessssssss, the sex scenes were off the chain, wipe the sweat off your brow, and find two men pronto type of yummy!!

I'm not saying that this is my go to genre, but this author will most assuredly fill the void between my political science and sic-fi books.......and lonely nights. ;)

This has been a fantastic conclusion to Taylor, Veris and Brody story. Haha and I am so pleased my hopes for them came true.
Trouble for Brody meant a slip back in time, only three days to get evidence they required, easy peasy. Until the jump home, where they find themselves way back.in Brody's time line when he was a slave. How were they going to fix this and get them all safely to the future with out causing those ripples in their personal history, which could be detrimental to their futures. Hold on to your seats for the ride of your life...
I highly recommend this wonderfully thrilling trilogy.

I love this series!! There is so much that goes on with the both the main characters and secondary characters. It is very interesting to see what happened to Brody in the beginning. I liked how Taylor dealt with situations that she had little to no control over.
We were left with a bit of a cliffhanger and I'm hoping that it's resolved in Alex's story.
