3 🌟 (low)

This was more on the low three stars, I had started off okay, firefighters x single mum who owns a bakery, her bakery catches fire( it was instigated by someone""), they decided to let her stay with them for some time until she figures it out.

Ex fiance drama, fmc mum's drama, mystery around who instigated the fire were okay, digestible if you will. However, the romance development was a little meek for me, there were so many cute/ steamy moments between the fmc and the mmcs but the development felt rushed, the tension died down quickly bc it was rushed imo.

This story was a huge let down. I was expecting the same type of story that I have read from this author before. This book, however, did not deliver. It felt rushed and missing big parts of the story. There was no cohesiveness in this story. I felt no connection to any of the characters. I felt really disappointed in this story.

Gah ! Dnf 20%…
I really wanted to like this story. The premise was good but the story was pretty disjointed. The FMC fell in Insta love and trusted these guys after like 2 days …
Sorry author! I’m sure you’re lovely .. I really wish I could love this

Harper's dreams go up in smoke. Lucky she has 3 firemen who want to help her heal. Antonio, Benedict and Hudson know Harper from her bakery. Her sweet treats aren't the only thing they want.
Together can they come together to fight her past? Can they have their happily ever after together with her kids?
This is a cute steamy Christmas story.

This book is fast instalove. It all takes place within 4 weeks. They meet, get it on a bunch, and then hea ensues.
There’s an abusive ex and a mother that’s been poisoned against her. Lots of mmmf scenes and a little romance. I would’ve liked to see how all 3 men were so well off being firefighters. Antonio is rich, but I’m unsure about Hudson and Benedict. We don’t find much back story about the men and I’m unsure how old the kids are. I think 4 and 5, but Peter is very well spoken for a youngster.

I can’t really explain it, but this felt unfinished. It also felt like they were gaps missing throughout the story. The characters fell in love instantly, which I am often fine with, but it did not feel genuine. The harem also did not feel genuine as there was jealousy, even though they had all shared previously.

One of the characters had a sister who he was close enough to that he wanted to attend her birthday party, and then that sister was rude for no reason to the main character. There was never any closure to that side story. The Sister never apologized, and it was never mentioned again.

The main character‘s mother was horrible to the main character for no reason. It was mentioned kind of at the end as a side story that the mother now realized she had made a mistake. However, there was no follow up.

The main character met her harem when her bakery burned down. One of the firemen thought it was possible she was an arsonist. He changed his mind too quickly without any actual details. It did not feel genuine either.

The insurance company was rude to her for no reason even though it was decided that she was not at fault. That felt odd. Usually people are professional. She also only received a check for $80,000. And she was very excited by the amount. Yet she lost both her home and her business And all of her belongings. $80,000 does not seem like a sufficient check amount at all to rebuild both a business and a home.

Finally, the stalker ex-husband was a politician, which means he should know how to schmooze people. He even went around telling everyone lies about her so that they would be on his side. Which means he should be good at flying under the radar with his abusive nature. However, he completely forgot who he was and where he was and attacked his ex in the middle of a store with dozens of witnesses. The main character blacked out and woke up in the hospital with her ex in jail forever. That also felt very forced and fake.

This might be my first book from this author. Other reviews for her other books are better, so I may try another book to be fair.

Harper loves baking and her bakery. But unfortunately an unfortunate accident in the bakery, takes away her livelyhood and also her home. While she is in hospital recovering from the incident her children go and stay with their maternal grandmother , someone that Harper has a very strained relationship with. When Harper wakes up in hospital she finds one of the firefighters watching over her. Hudson wants to make sure Harper is ok, he finds himself drawn to her. He knows her from being a customer at the bakery and has liked her from afar. The other person who checks in is another firefighter named Benedict who has flirted with her while being served at the bakery. Benedict makes an offer to Harper to help her and her children while she gets back on her feet. This doesn't sit well with Antonio who is the fire investigation officer. But he relents and allows the offer to stand. The guys all like Harper and Harper feels the same way, each bringing something different to the relationship but all agree that Harper and the children are taken care of.
But as their burgeoning relationship grows some news makes Antonio question how 'sweet' Harper really is? Is this just a front for an insurance claim scam? But can Harper's past have a bearing on the events that have unfolded and lead to further problems in the future? Has Harper let her guard down and stayed in 1 place too long? Can the 3 men be there to protect her and the children from her past?

A very good novel. Well wrote, each chapter giving an insight of the trials of single parenthood, running from a past to keep her family safe and the 3 men who ultimately have to learn to share Harper in order to keep her in their lives. A feel good book with a HEA.

Amidst a thread of suspense, 'Fire Daddies' weaves a cozy tale where Harper finds herself tended to by the three dashing firefighters—Hudson, Antonio, and Benedict—who bring a festive spirit into her life. The narrative brims with scenes of Christmas tree hunting, indulgent shopping sprees, and culinary delights, all setting the stage for the simmering romance that develops among the four characters.

While the storyline follows an anticipated trajectory, it exudes warmth, portraying the challenges of single parenthood and the weight of a past that Harper strives to protect her family from. The journey of the trio learning to share Harper's affections to secure a place in her life adds depth to the plot, crafting a heartwarming tale of love and companionship.

The novel excels in its well-crafted narrative, offering glimpses into the struggles of parenthood and the complexities of forming a unique bond amidst challenges. With a satisfyingly happy ending, this feel-good read culminates in a heartwarming happily ever after.

I liked the story 'Fire Daddies' by Liz Archer. It was about a mother of two kids trying to make a life for herself and her two children away from her ex-fiancé who physically abused the woman until she managed to leave him. When the bakery that she owns is set on fire with her and her two children in it, she and the kids are saved by three handsome firemen. They let her and the kids stay with them until she can get back on her feet financially. But while she is staying with them, they each fall more in love with her and the children every day. She also is hopelessly drawn to each of them too. It becomes very confusing for them until they realize that they would rather share their relationship together than have to part. While they are embarking on this new lifestyle, her ex-fiancé starts to appear and threaten her if she does not go back to him. She knows he will continue to abuse her and maybe a danger to the kids if she ever goes back to him and she lives in total fear of him. Her new protective housemates are more than happy to step in and protect her and the children from harm.

The book starts off with a gripping opening scene of a fire burning the bakery and home of the FMC Harper and her children Olivia and Peter. The family is saved by the heroic efforts of the firefighting MMCs Hudson, Benedict, and Antonio. The smoking hot firefighters have been customers of the bakery so they know Harper. They invite the now homeless family to live in an extra room of their penthouse. Harper temporarily stays with the guys while her mother has the children. The adults get up lots of smexy games. I don’t want to give too much away because that would take away from readers experiencing the oh my’s of crooked politicians, mother mania, parenting angst, true love, and of course, more fire hot times between the MCs. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a well written story to go along with their reverse harem. This author has written well developed characters and an interesting and compelling story.

It was good.
There was confusion is parts, at beginning of the book she has left her husband but then throughout the book its fiancee. Another one was he was gripping her arm but she tells him to let go of her trolley. There is others but they are the 2 of the top of my head.
Ignore the book cover as well as there is no mention of tattoos on them and also a fireman cant have a beard (well in the uk anyway).
There is a trigger warning due to mental any physical abuse from a partner. So could be a trigger to some people.
I liked the fact that at the beginning it went straigt to the fire instead of building up to it. But then throughout the beginning of the book as the men describe how long they have liked her they do flashbacks to them going into the bakery. Who wouldnt want to be waking up in a hospital to a sexy fireman waiting for you.?? Who wouldnt wanna be looked after by 3 sexy fireman???

Fire Daddies is a reverse harem romance. Harper is a single mom of two who is in hiding from her abusive ex-fiancé. She has achieved her dream of owning a bakery and providing some security for herself and her children. But the opening scene is her harrowing attempt to get herself and her children out of the bakery alive when it catches on fire.

There's a thread of suspense throughout the book, but much of it is scenes of Harper being spoiled by the three firefighters who rescue her: Hudson, Antonio and Benedict. There's Christmas tree buying, a shopping spree, lots of cooking/baking and more. It's full of heat with the four beginning their relationship. Nothing too unexpected but it's a cozy Christmas romance with a little danger but the action is fade to black.

Trigger warning: domestic abuse (scenes from the past), verbal abuse from mother

Harper is a single mom running a bakery. One day a fire breaks out and she barely makes it out with her two kids. Hudson is one of the fire fighters that rescues them, and he checks on her when she is in the hospital. Benedict and Antonio also work for the fire department and are looking into what happened at her bakery and grow close to her while she is staying with them. When they learn about her abusive ex the want to help her because they all want to claim her for their own. Can they keep her safe from her ex? Will something more grow between them all?

This is a steamy story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This was a great story full of danger, lots of steamy love scenes and bravery in the face of domestic abuse. Harper has a lot going in her life and to top it off, her bakery burns to the ground, leaving her and her two children homeless. Three wonderfully brave firefighters, Antonio, Benedict, and Hudson rescue them from the burning building. Hudson spends time with Harper while she is in hospital after the fire and when he learns of her homeless status, he invites them to come live with them. What started out as an act of charity, soon turns into a love story where all three men become important to her and eventually turns into their forever after.

An entertaining RH love story where not only love prevails but heroes not only come to the rescue but rescue all those in need for all time. There are tropes that should be addressed for some readers may find concept of abusive relationships triggering in the story. Otherwise wonderfully created male characters that step up way beyond the norm to protect their true love and her children. I found it an easy read but still containing enough action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, sense of survival and that whole warm and fuzzy sensation that Alpha males do in the over protection mode that throw out to the ones that love and cherish.

Fire Daddies is book 4 in the Reverse Harem Daddies series. It's a steamy, OTT, reverse harem/why choose, single mom gets her 3 hot firefighters romance. Harper is a single mom of 2 and a baker. She has left her abusive ex fiance. When her bakery burns down, she finds herself homeless. Three firefighters who knew her from the bakery, Antonio, Benedict, and Hudson offer for her and kids to stay with them. The story had it all, drama, suspense, realistic parenting moments as well as lots of sexy times as this group learns a poly relationship is better than no relationship. The chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥. There is some ex drama, but the ending is very happy. I loved it!!.

DNF @ 57%
I can’t remember the last time that I DNF a book. But this one was just so bad that I already wanted to do it after 10%. I tried so hard to push on, but I just can’t y’all.
This book was trying so hard, but it just could not. Everything came across so fake and disingenuous and cringe.
Nothing that the guys said or did felt real. Came across as a bad corny porno.
And the Insta relationship and Insta protectiveness and Insta family just made me roll my eyes so much that I got a headache.
And don’t even get me started on how often this bitch says thank you. Literally every other sentence is her thanking them for something. So annoying.
This whole book just felt as fake as a bowl of plastic fruit.

I loved Fire Daddies. Harper wasn’t expecting to wake up in the hospital after a fire destroyed her bakery or to find Hudson with her. One of the firemen who saved her and her children. She has nothing but the help of Hudson, Benedict and Antonio. Her abusive ex is determined to bring her back, she can’t believe he found her. These three men have decided if one can’t have her then they are willing to share but is Harper ok with it? These three are better to her and her children than her ex ever was. Can she really ever be with three men? I would definitely recommend this book.

Fire, Destruction and Rising from the Ashes

Steamy, dangerous and delicious! The reader is taken on a journey of self-discovery as Harper has to start fresh after her home and business burns down and she finds herself in the hospital. Her recovery is not only emotional and physical but financially and psychologically as well. Being a single mother adds to her struggles and three firemen are there to help her through it. Will her past come back to ruin everything she has built? This was an exciting and steamy read.

Harper is hiding from a troubled past when her bakery unexpectedly burns down. Hudson, Benedict and Antonio offer her a place to stay. The heat between these four is instantaneous and hot but just as things are going well her violent ex finds her.

Whilst this is a great story it is not my favourite. There was plenty of steam and action but I personally couldn't understand how Harper was OK leaving her chicken with her mother for so long making no effort to contact them. As a mother that would have been my first thought which spoilt the story for me.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Harper, Antonio, Hudson, and Benedict. Harper is just trying to get her feet underneath her after leaving her abusive ex. She is determined to show her kids a better life. The only problem is one day while working in the bakery it all goes up in flames. When the guys come in to save her she finds safety in more ways than she ever thought possible. Can they all find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?

Another amazing hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Own was on my last nerve...

How do you start a fire that you almost died in?!. How could they think she was committing insurance fraud? Her mother was too much, you took my man??? Basket case... I'm sorry she would never be a part of mine or my kids life and it doesn't say she talks to her again... And I hope she doesnt.
Benny was in love already just from the bakery and Hudson showed his interest while she was in the hospital. It just took Antonio a little longer.
When ever Ian came around it took them to long to get to her!
I'm just happy the kids were okay.
I liked the ending more than anything... I guess I'm a sucker for a happy ending!

This was a good read by Liz, and I really enjoyed Harper and her men.

Escaping her abusive life and running a bakery is Harper’s dream. Her two kids and her are safe. Until everything comes crashing down around her, literally her bakery is on fire. Hudson, Benedict and Antonio to the rescue saving Harper and her children. Hudson being the most genuine human keeps tabs on Harper while she is in the hospital. With everything she owns gone up in flames her three firemen come in to save the day.

Harper is starting over after leaving an abusive ex-fiancé. When her bakery burns down with her, and her children caught inside she is saved by three fire fighters who frequent her bakery. A question of arson is suspected among other things and when Antonio, Benedict and Hudson open up their home to Harper and her children things become heated quickly, but her ex isn't finished with her. Will Antonio, Benedict and Hudson be able to keep Harper and the kids safe.

Single mum on the run finds three fire-fighters that want to stand beside her and her kids when they save her from a fire.
But its not just her ex that's she's running from, which is the pity.
But these three guys want her for the long haul, and they are very protective of their family, which is what her and her kids become very quickly.
Some extremely hot scenes, while the kid's are away, of course.
Very well written.

When Harper's bakery catches fire, she frantically tries to save her children. A piece of the ceiling falls and hits her. She is in the hospital when she wakes up after being in a coma for two days. Hudson, the firefighter who rescued her, is by Harper's hospital bed. Harper and her two children move into the penthouse where Hudson and his two firefighter roommates, Benedict and Antonio, live. This story has action, violence, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

Harpers (FMC) new start in her own bakery are burnt to the ground (quite literally!) when a fire takes both her business and her flat too. Leaving her and her children no where to live. Only to have 3 saviours (2 firemen and 1 fire investigator) who offer her a place to stay until she gets back on her feet but outside influences are making sure she doesn't.

Phew these fire guys definitely steamed up my kindle! So hot! How they were with Harpers kids.............swoon. Loved that. This was a good read and it was great addition to this series too.
