This is the second book I’ve read by this author and I really like her writing style. She writes well formed characters with great developing relationships of friendship, romance, family and of course a few obstacles to overcome.

I don’t usually go for the Hollywood/celebrity trope but I got hooked by Sabine’s character. A female PI, branching out from her family to set out on her own and make her own business thrive, all while trying to escape an arranged marriage between herself and her dead sister’s fiancé, who also happens to be a mafia boss! Yeah, I was intrigued, to say the least.

Over all the story was good, I felt the family drama (on both sides) was a bit OTT and seemed blown up more than it needed to be, but if you take that out, the relationship between Sabine and Gray was a slow burn (with chemistry that is there in spades!) and I liked watching both of them open up and get to know each other. The who, why, and how of the romance is why I read and theirs was a cute – if slightly out of the norm – story that explored family loyalty, traditional values and roles, acceptance, self esteem and ultimately risking it all for that one special someone.

It was a cute read that only frustrating me a tiny bit with the antiquated views Sabine’s family tried to force on her. I love big overly protective brothers and Sabine has four big hulky ones that are perfect mind? eye candy until they open their mouths. Shane possibly being the only exception.

Fun Read

Nun habe ich auch das letzte Buch der Reihe gelesen. Grayson ist schon besonders... Anders als seine Brüder. Das Buch ist zwar nicht so leicht zu lesen, da Sabine durch ihren irischen Akzent so das ein oder andere Wort verwendet das einem nicht unbedingt geläufig ist, wenn man noch nicht so lange englisch lernt, aber man gewöhnt sich dran 😉
Ich hatte immer wieder Ideen wie das Buch wohl weiter geht, aber jedes Mal war es dann doch anders 😂 Aber definitiv nicht schlechter. Die Hart's werden mir auf jeden Fall fehlen 🥰

Grayson Hart...

I became acquainted with Grayson Hart in Bossy Billionaire, his older brother's story. As a mom to a boy, he reminded me of the grown-up little boy who wasn't quite sure where he fit in in life but was trying to figure it out...and having a bit of fun doing so to the slight disappointment of his older, more responsible brothers.

Grayson certainly met his match when he met Sabine. Having older brothers, Sabine knew how to handle Grayson and knew when to give in to him, as well.

This enjoyable and steamy road trip Grayson blackmailed Sabine into was an adventure. And along the way, Grayson found his 'place'; and Sabine came into her own...and they found each other.

Although there's a follow-up novella to this series featuring other characters we've met in Gotham, I'm saddened to see the end of the Hart brothers even though they all have their happy endings. These stories show the love and support of family and that is something that we all look for in the end.

His pet name for her is 'mama' but he's a billionaire white guy. His extremely stupid brothers and him are somehow millionaires, and they cut off his credit cards and hired a sexy PI to find him (who they then attempted to stiff and complained about paying - cheapskate billionaires are so sexy) and get him back home after he ran away from his passive billionaire income to pursue his acting dream in L.A.

He cries several times and not because someone died. I think he cries more than she does. Remember, these are two hot rich people, alone on a road trip, not fucking.

There's no sex until 75% in. It was a road trip! This is NOT how we do "only one bed."

She was a 24-year-old virgin, ( as so many women are in the 21st century) they were both horny for each other, and she wanted to give it up. But he couldn't be with her if he had to live with the shame of not making it as an actor. So when the sex finally happened, it was a farewell send-off, because neither one of these Disney characters were the other's first priority, or cared enough to fight for each other like grown-ups. The last minute HEA felt accidental, because no one really cared if it happened or not.

But for 75% of the book, they gave each other hand jobs and dry humps to get by. This was like Mormon summer camp.

I'm really tired of this trend. Please put the sex back in romance, authors. At this rate, we'll have to switch to actual porn to get any. It's fucking up the pacing and it's also really boring.

Grayson/Gray, 30, is an out of work actor in LA but owns a luxury hotel in New York with his 2 brothers. His family have turned off his credit card and hired a detective to find him and bring him back to NY. He does not want to return home as a failure since his movie bombed and he is hoping that he will get the new job has been talking to a producer about. Sabine/Siobhan, 24, has her own PI business in LA and has found Gray and his brother will give her a million dollars to get him back to NY. She left her Irish family there after her brother was trying to force her to marry someone she didn’t love. Grayson and Sabine begin a cross country road trip to NY where Gray tries to ditch Sabine and they start to have feelings for one another. Will Sabine get Grayson back to the city to reunite with his family? Will Sabine’s brothers find her and force her to marry? Will Gray and Sabine begin a relationship?

I enjoyed this fun story about 2 people that do not want to return to their families and give it 4.5 stars. The author let us see the family dynamics and realize why neither wanted to return home despite loving their families. Their trip was hilarious with Grayson trying to ditch Sabine whenever he could but gradually getting to know and understand each other better. The last chapter was the perfect conclusion to their story.

An entertaining romance with a happy ending.

Grayson had left his family behind to become an actor, but when his last film was bombed, he was not prepared to give up his dream and stayed hooping to pick up another film role. After weeks of missed calls, his family missed him and arranged for a private detective to find him and bring him home. Sabine was the Private Investigator hired to find Grayson, but getting him to agree to return home proved more difficult than she imagined. Graysonmhad too much pride to return this family a looser. He was waiting on confirmation of a leading role in a Netflix series before going home and used every opportunity to escape Sabine. In the end, he agreed to return by car, a trip of more than three thousand miles, with Sabine riding with him to ensure her arrived. It was during the time they spent together that their attraction to each other blossomed. I found this story an entertaining read. Grayson and Sabine opened up to each other on their lives, hopes, and dreams, In the past, Grayson had been a confirmed womanizer, but Sabine's determination to succeed and make her business grow proved to him she was not just a pretty face. This book had a happy ending but not before they both had some tough decisions to make concerning their future and family relationships.

I am a big fan of the whole Lords of Gotham series. Each brother has something so compelling and irresistible about him. You don’t need to have read the other books, but the three Hart brothers are in each so you get to know them.

Grayson was the brother that wasn’t as interested in running the hotel they inherited. Book 3 begins with Grayson having been gone and out of touch with his family for months. That time was spent recovering from a number of events that left him depressed and ready to give up on himself.

So the best part of the story is Sabine coming into his life when he needs her most. She is capable of conquering any task, and she seems so unfailingly honest. When the two are together, sparks fly. Grayson could have been the guy that takes what he wants, but he let Sabine control the pace.

This is a road trip book and I like that these two fall in love rather early, but of course don’t acknowledge it, and put the needs of the other person above their own. Neither are the type for a lot of drama.

As a book, there is so much going on with Grayson’s story, Sabine’s New York story and the running of the hotels, and the author makes it look so easy to put it all together in a way that makes one keep turning the pages until the end.

I loved Grayson's life story. The baby brother out to prove himself in front of his older and successful brothers. Too bad he feels he needs their validation, though I'm not sure his brothers think that, they still love him, but can be a tad judgy lol. All three had grown up with a father who basically ignored them in favor of his hotel. A hotel they’d inherited when he passed.
Grayson has stardom in his blood, not hotels, of any kind. Hollywood, however, is proving brutal and more fickle than even a tough New Yorker can take? Surprising.
Sabine was a perfect character for Grayson, they may have not liked each other at first, but they sure understood one another, and ended up being more themselves. It was a very sexy, yet relaxed relationship. They went slowly with each other for their own reasons, but it was the best, and a great change from the racing to hot and heavy I see often. Now, the trip they took, was anything but relaxed lol.
A wonderful journey of discovery for these two, and not coming up all roses. I felt the drama was on the lighter side, except maybe for her brothers showing up! And then the sweetest and creative HEA I just adored.
I dropped a star for the reiteration of their circumstances. I understood the emphasis was wanted, but that portion just got too redundant for me.
I do recommend reading this whole series for an enjoyable entertaining time. Each book is a stand alone, but best served as a full course read.

Grayson Hart is unwilling to return to New York as a failure. He had a bad movie and, until he can get a new TV role he is waiting to hear about and be successful again, he is not going “home”. To try to force the matter, his accounts were frozen so he had no access to money or credit cards. Then Sabine Quinlan, a private investigator, was hired to find him and bring him back to New York.

This is a win-win situation for Sabine because her family still relies on arranged marriages and they have picked out a family friend they want her to marry. Her to-be-fiancé is expecting her to be a virgin. So the money for bringing Grayson to New York will keep her financially independent so she doesn’t have to go home, and getting him to take her virginity will make her an unacceptable wife to the family friend so she won’t have to get married.

If the two of them can agree on her plan, this could work. And just maybe, along the way, they could find that they were pretty good together, maybe were falling in love a little bit, and maybe even perfect for each other! Is there a HEA possible between these two? Grab your copy and find out what crazy hijinks they get up to!

Very entertaining witty novel. Sabine and Grayson's story is unusual and full of laugh-out-loud moments. The characters are very well described, and the dialogues are intelligent, often very funny and scene-appropriate. Sabine is a PI, whose family makes an arrangement for her to marry someone, but who wants a virgin. Well, all a girl has to do, is lose her V-card and that's that. She would no longer be the 'right choice for marriage. Problem solved. In comes Grayson, who isn't used to being a star of a box-office flop, who walks away to clear his mind of failure. He even dodges his family's attempt to contact him, resulting in all his accounts being frozen. They hire Sabine to track down Grayson. When she does, the fun begins. They help each other out from their predicament and the attraction between them is palpable. This is a hilarious, warm, romantic novel with a HEA which I can happily recommend to all who like some light-hearted, engrossing, entertainment.

I loved Grayson and Sabine's story and found it hard to put this book down. Their story was a hot and emotional slow build which meant that they got a chance to know each other during their trip.

Grayson's the youngest sibling, he wanted nothing to do with the family firm and went to L.A. to become a Star! But he’s missing and not answering any of his family’s phone calls. So they’ve hired Sabine, a P.I., to track him down and bring him home. Sabine was hired as Luke thinks a woman will stand a better chance of tracking down and convincing their womanizing brother to come home.

Grayson's at an all time low, his first film's a flop, he's having to pawn his expensive clothes to get cash to live off. His one hope is a TV series which he hopes to nail down, then he can go home a success and not a failure. For Sabine getting him on the plane his brother sent is the answer to her prayers, enough money to expand her P.I. business.

Will she succeed, in achieving her dreams, will he achieve his? Or will they meet somewhere in the middle?

Grayson & Sabine- perfect match

Grayson needs a break to figure out his life and his future. He has escaped to LA but his brothers are done waiting for him to return home so they hire Sabine a PI in LA to track him down and bring him back home to NY!

Grayson knew his brothers wouldn’t give him what he wanted but when he meets Sabine she is all he can think about and want. When he refuses to get on the plane they settle on roadtripping back to NY. While on the road they learn a lot about each other and they begin to fall heavy and fast.

Sabine has some family secrets that she knows could destroy everything if she steps foot back in NY. She has play this smart so she can get paid for returning Grayson but also not destroy her heart by falling for him when she can’t be with him.

This book is filled with sweetness, admiration, love, commitment, compassion, strength, & family. You will love this book as well as the entire Hart series. Sad to see this series end. Happy Reading!!

A Journey Home To Love And Family -
Grayson left his life of luxury in New York and moved to Los Angeles after his last movie flopped, but unfortunately, things didn’t go well for him. Sabine was given the task as a Private Investigator to find Grayson and bring him home, after he cut off communication with them.

The storyline was outstanding, but the part that kept me on the edge of my seat guessing what would happen next, was after Sabine’s encounter with her family at the airport. I was really rooting for Grayson and Sabine to get their happily ever after and couldn’t think of how it would come to pass. The author did a truly amazing job keeping me entertained and engrossed with each page turn, as well as finding a way for them to be together. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride, that you won’t want to stop.

This book gave me all the feels. I absolutely love Grayson and Sabine. I could not put this book down. It was hot, and emotional. I loved that Gray and Sabine really got a chance to know each other during their trip. Grayson has gone missing in LA. He’s refusing his family’s phone calls. They’ve had enough and decide to hire a PI to track him down and drag him home. In comes Sabine since Luke thinks it will be better to hire a woman to track down his womanizing player of a brother. Makes since to me, brother likes hot women so hire one to find runaway billionaire brother. When Sabine finally tracks him down, he’s hit rock bottom, pawning off expensive clothing to get as much cash to survive on as he can. If she gets him on the plane his brother sent, she gets the money to expand her PI business, but Gray isn’t going to go easy. Will this turn into more than just business for the both of them?

I found the book to be engaging and very entertaining with some humorous and fun moments and it held my attention the end. Neither Sabine nor Grayson wants to go home to their loving families, Grayson's family wants him to come home and help with the hotel business and Sabine's family is forcing her to marry a man that will result in a loveless marriage. The family dynamics and interactions were well done and I really disliked Sabine's brothers for forcing their will on her, and totally did a happy dance when she fought back. The road trip Grayson and Sabine took to get home, was hilarious with Grayson trying to ditch Sabine, while he simultaneously slowly falling in love with her. Fun, witty read with a well deserved HEA.

I/ve read all the books in this series, but this one is my favorite. Grayson is realing from being blamed for a bad movie and Sabine is a PI that is hired to find him and bring him home. After his brother froze all his accounts, he was really having trouble dealing with life. Sabine was also running from a family issue. Together they found what they wanted and were looking for There was fun, some hot romance, and controlling families on both sides and finally love. They were perfect for each other, but it did take them awhile to figure it out.

This is a unique story in its own way. We have an actor whose last film bombed, his brothers want him home to New York but cannot face them. He is waiting for a TV show to come through so he can go home, but not as a failure. Sabine needs the money offered to bring him home. Sabine also is staying away from her family because they want her to marry and she needs to be a virgin. She wants Grayson to help her out with that. This is warm and witty and just a great read. The characters were believable and interesting and the plot was good and play out well.

Loved this series but this was my favorite book. Grayson and Sabine. They are funny, charming, determined, and driven. Sabine has been hired to find Grayson and when she confronts him, she ends up staying with him as they travel across the U.S. But every day that he delays going back to his brothers in New York, she loses $100,000.00 from her fee. If he takes too long she’ll end up with nothing. Nothing but a broken heart, because she’s fallen for him and he wants to stay in New York and she can’t be anywhere near New York for fear her family will force her to marry someone she doesn’t love. Grayson and Sabine’s story :- I have not read the other brothers story but they are intriguing after reading this one. I will probably go pick up the series. Grayson is loved brother and the youngest of three , he is good looking, handsome billionaire but wants to be an actor. This be sucks at .. Sabine goes to get him home. It is a sexy, dramatic fun story which can be a good read in holidays. It is also the last in the series so their could be some adds from the other stories. A engaging read with characters that are compelling and irresistible. A well written enemies to lovers romance that keeps you glued to the pages and makes it hard to put the book down. The characters are strong and well developed and easy to get to know as you turn the pages. There's definite chemistry between the characters, moments where you can't help but laugh and romance and attraction that jumps off the pages.

Deborah Garland had me gripped from the first book in the series and kept me in her grasp all the way to this captivating book. Great deep characterization, well developed plot & a lovable cast make this a great read

I love how this builds and how their current situation balances out their financial worth. Emotion is well arranged with intensity, laugh out loud humor, steam, career choices, the seriousness of life decisions and revelations of the heart. Enjoyed this and they make a great couple, their shenanigans were very entertaining. Looking forward to reading more about this family.

Both of their families were in New York so they were avoiding that place as well. Sabine was hired to find Grayson and send him home. She does but Grayson convinced her to go on a road trip. One the road trip they get to know each other and fall in love. In the end, they get all they want and their families as well.

What a great read this was. The story just flowed for me from start to finish.
Very well written story by this wonderful author.
Loved the main characters that really worked well together and I had
a great connection with them as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story.

She does not want to go to NY since she left there when her brothers tried to marry her off. They start to get to know each other and feelings start to develop.
