I thoroughly enjoyed Walker & Lindsey’s story. I’ve been wanting Walker’s story for what seems like forever and this didn’t disappoint which isn’t surprising as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of Julie’s books and they’re on my re-read list. I do have my favourites that I’ve read more than the others though. I loved how Julie took the Beauty and the Beast but flipped it. I loved seeing how protective Lindsey was of her charges Dante & Maya, even in her beast form. I also loved that she couldn’t leave Walker behind and abducted him when her, Dante & Maya escaped the Collectors auction. Walker and Lindsey have a lot to work through in order to get their happily ever after but it’s so worth the wait. I absolutely love the little found family that they’ve created and it was cool how Walker just accepted that Lindsey came as a package deal and was totally okay with it, which isn’t surprising considering how great he is with Shelby and Ben’s triplets (his god children).
He was instantly protective of them. It made me smile seeing Ben get some well deserved payback for the amount of times Walker messed with him where Shelby is concerned. I loved the feeling of family/pack during this book. All I can say is that the Alpha from the NOLA pack is a complete and utter a*sehole and I really want him to get taken out so his son Leo, who was first introduced during Kian and Anita’s book, Panther’s Pride can become alpha so they can get with this times and not have such archaic rules. I’ve already pre-ordered Wild Fires (Ravenden Series) Book 3, His Treasured Mate (Six Pack Shifters Series) Book 6 and last but certainly not least Lachlan’s book, The Last Ultimatum and I’m really looking forward to reading them when they’re released during the year. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, Westin World Universe and author to everyone.

All the feels This book has it all and will take you on the best kind of emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I cried, I lost sleep on a work night to read, and I loved it all!
A beauty and the beast inspired shifter story it could be read as a stand alone but if you are a Julie Trettel fan this book has so much depth from her world to offer. Beloved previous chapters and side characters contributing to the story and world concepts resurfacing. It is a treasure of a treat.
Walker and Lindsey’s story is fast paced and for me was a neat read in one sitting (I started it on my lunch break which was a mistake because I didn’t want to stop but had to) for me.
Lindsey does have a dark back story that is critical to who she is. Walker is everything I hoped he would be as he has been a side character since the Collier pack series. I’m not going to share more because this book deserves to the surprise and joy it is. Go and read it now. If you’re a sensitive reader I have included what I hope is spoilers free notes below for you the weigh the darker parts and determine if it is a book for you. I sure hope so though because the light in this book is well worth it.
While I am not a reader bothered by darker topics, for those that are here are some items to consider if you are a sensitive reader.

MUST READ!!
A true spin on a Beauty and the Beast story but with all the trimmings too, I couldn't help but read it all in one continuous session. ⬇️
Walkers story did not disappoint and was more than worth the wait. It has action, tension, love and pulse raising moments in more ways than one.
With every book I read, I question how can Julie top this and each time she manages to do it yet again. wonderful Book
Oh wow what a great story. I so wasn’t expecting the story to go this way but oh wow it was another amazing book by Julie! It was a Wonderful reverse telling of beauty and the beast. Lindsey is such a strong and amazing woman especially after everything she has been through. Walker is such a heart throb! I’m so glad they got their HEA and 2 precious kids in the process. I’m looking forward to new worlds opening up in the Westin Universe! This is an amazing book and if you haven’t read it you need too! Walker has always been one of my favorites! So glad we finally got his story ; )

This is a fantastic read, it has everything from emotions to a hint of fairytale. Funny, dramatic, action packed, emotional and adorable.
Walker and Lindsey are perfect combination of strength and fire. Westin world keeps on growing and with Delta force that means a chance to meet new as well as old characters. This just means that the book is so much more enriching and there is more of Kyle, Kelsey and Ben.
Fated mates with a bit of a beast storyline.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book. Definitely one of my top favourites.

Holy cow!
If you’re a fan of Walker, you need to grab this book and go cancel all your plans!
It’s a great retelling of beauty and the beast but with a twist but the ending will have you second guessing who the real bad guys are!
I loved getting to see more of the life in a collection and how the shifters protect each other in these horrible situations. Lindsey is such a strong fierce shifter and I fell in love with her story. Watching Walker see her for more than the outside package and help her know her worth made me love him more.
I am so glad this was the next story Julie told. If you love fairytale retellings and fated mate stories, grab this!

Julie does it again! I have fallen in love with the crew from Westin Force as a whole and use any excuse to read the books again and again! Walker is one of the good guys and in this book, he finds himself and his patience being tested at every turn. Lindsey is a strong and protective character that you end up rooting for throughout the book. I love catching up with the other members of the force and even getting to see a lighter side to Ben, Shelby’s mate. New villains will rise and security threatened, but either way, I have no doubt Julie will leave you wanting more!

Love, a fantastic PNR
I loved it . This author has a talent for writing that draws you in and you don't want to stop reading. Really, one more chapter. No just one more chapter. It is going on 2 AM but I am almost done!
The one thing about this and just about every book she writes. I wanted more, but it had to end at some point.
In my reviews, I do not give anything away, so I didn't here either. It is a fun read and yes for this who like spice, it has just enough for you all. I skim, not my thing. However, it always seems to go with the story perfectly.

so sweet
This book was so sweet! I love a good fairy tale and Happily Ever After! These two were literally made for each other😜. If love a good story about how people can overcome their pasts and love that is blind, then this is the story for you. This family is a family by choice and is loved unconditionally. Getting to read about a HOT man and his relationship with his kids just makes him hotter. There is so much love portrayed in this story that all you can do is smile as you read it. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this little mashed family of four.

Another great story and now a long wait till next one
This author just has the knack for telling this type of story. In between her books I have tried reading other authors trying to tell the same type of story and they come up so short that I have just decided to wait for Julies’ books. No one has come close to her balance of story lines, humor, romance and overall way to keep us so engrossed that you just don’t want it to end and when it does it is such a let down for days. Keep it up. Next generation will be growing up and will need stories. Just saying..

Good book
I enjoyed reading this book. Lindsey was experimented on and her animal form is a combination of several. The plot was interesting but not overly developed. This also wasn’t as action packed as the previous books in this series. My favorite are the two kids, Maya and Dante. They were fun and kept this book entertaining. It would be interesting to see them as grown-ups and having their own books.
Walker was very patient and caring to Lindsey and the kids. He did a good job winning them over.

Love! I have been waiting for Walkers story from the start and this was perfect.
It’s always nerve wracking when one of your favorite characters finally gets their turn in the hot seat but man what a hot seat it was!
This was exactly what Walker deserved (in more than one way 😂) and a reverse beauty and the beast retelling? Yes ma’am!

Out of Peril is Book 5 in Julie Trettel's Westin Force Delta Series. It is a standalone in an interconnected world. Walker is a Special Ops security escort undercover when he finds his true mate, Lindsey. Before he realizes what's going on, he's on an adventure with Lindsey and her charges, from Venezuela to NOLA to California. This book is full of adventure, whimsy, humor, and love. Ms. Trettel has managed yet again to give a heart walming paranomal read. You will fall in love with her characters and will indeed enjoy going on this journey with them.
Highly recommend.

Fascinating read
Julie Gretel never disappoints me. Out of Peril is truly a fantastic story and takes shifters to a whole new level. Walter is a character I have experienced in other Delta books and I was happy to read his true mate story. I have read all of the Weston pack and Collier pack books and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. I highly recommend this book and All of the rest of her books, you will not be disappointed.

Couldn’t put the book down
As usual I loved this book. I was looking forward to reading Walkers book since meeting him in Shelby and Ben’s story. I was happy that he was still best friend with Shelby. Walkers relationship with Lindsey was perfect. I loved how Julie wrote this story. How strong she made Lindsey. What Lindsey had to overcome in her life. It was a perfect story! Can’t wait for Julie’s next story!

This book was really weird but in a good way. It had the Raglan element even though we thought that'd been moved on from and it was good to see one of their Experiments get a HEA. I'm still very confused about the NOLA alpha thinking he'd get not only loyalty from a wolf that wasn't even in his pack but also get a say in the force though. I feel like that part of the storyline wasn't well thought out/explained.

One of Julie's best! I really just could not put this book down!

I was so excited to read Walker’s story! As usual- AMAZING! Author Julie Trettel ties in the familiar names and you are right back in the Westin world- loved the twist and turns, the emotional roller coaster of the true mates magic. Amazing and well done! Definitely need to read this one if you have been following the Westin and Delta Force! (Facebook: Evee Conner)

Walkers Story!!
I have been looking forward to this book since we first met Walker. I loved him in Ben and Shelby’s book and every book he’s been in since. I love Lindsey and how strong she. She survived so much and she still has her humanity and love for others. They fit well together. Dante and Maya of course stole my heart.

Absolutely loved this book. Julie did amazing with this book and I liked how it was different from her other books in this world. Having just a touch of a beauty and the beast retelling made it even better for me. Even if you are not a fan of fairy tales, just read the book, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Loved Walkers story! He always has enjoyed torturing the other guys so my favorite parts were him getting his just rewards. It was a rollercoaster of a ride. Which only made me love Lindsay more. One of my favorites so far. Julie always weaves well balances stories that are easy to see in your head like a movie.

The was an amazing book. Definitely a little different from what I'm used to but I absolutely loved this story. ❤️ I don't want to give any spoilers so I want go into details to much. Bringing in multiple packs and tieing some of them together was great. I can't wait to hear more about the longhorns.

I absolutely loved Out of Peril. Julie Trettel is a master of her craft and weaves Walker and Lindsey’s tale so wonderfully. I literally devoured this book, being transported into the tale. I was so engrossed that when my husband walked by and touched my arm I about jumped out of my skin, that’s how good this book is.

I have only loved one Westin Force book and that was in the original series. I haven't had an interest in reading the sequel series until this book called to me and I loved it from the first to the last page. It reignited my love for Julie 's books since the Collier series.

Amazing!!
I love the Westin and Collier world!! I've read all the original Westin series, the Collier series, the ARC series, the Bravo series, and am anxiously awaiting the next book in the 6 pack series and the next book in the Delta series. I'm also waiting for the next Ravendon book.

Something was missing
Well, this is the first book in the entire Westin- Collier world so far that I didn't enjoy. I am not quite sure why, something just felt missing. Which is disappointing because I have been really looking forward to Walker's book.

Miss Trettel delivered again a wholesome story from the Westin Pack. Another story about acceptance , family love, friendship, inclusion and more of our favourite westin pack characters. Loved it and can't wait for what's next.
