This is the companion book to a MOOC run by the Australian site Open2Study. I didn't take the course and I read the book on iBooks, which is definitely the best platform because the book is in color and interactive. It's a short introductory look at human evolution from our earliest ape ancestors to the present. It makes the point it is our social intelligence, not our IQ, which is most responsible for our 'success', if I can put it that way. I enjoyed it immensely and I think I learned a lot.
