Falling for a Muse is a love story with a quick start. Kelly meets Austin and they fall in love at first sight. It's a story with great characters and a fun light read.

Kelly and Austin meet at an Indie Author Event and their attraction is instant. Austin knows straight away that he wants Kelly forever. Kelly's best friend adds a lot to the story and I loved their interaction. Kelly needs to help her and therefore the love story takes a small break whilst she packs up everything to move to Texas and in with Austin. Kelly is very loyal and takes her best friend with her. Austin and Kelly's love survives the separation and distance.

The story is a lovely one, full of love and life. There is a problem towards the end which is hard but they live through it eventually.

What I liked about this book 1. HEA and 2. No Cliff-hanger.

Cannot wait to read more by this author. Well done L. Mertz.

Falling for a Muse contained premise that is near and dear to me as a reader. I mean, what woman wouldn't want a sexy cover model to fall head over heels in love with her. I liked Austin a great deal and he was not only hawt but very sweet as well. Kelly grated on me at times with her immature vacillations and I wanted to smack her -- especially after she had her head surgery. BUT, I understand that she wasn't quite herself. I just wish that she had talked to Austin instead of allowing her emotions to run high. Falling for a Muse was also a short short and sweet modern day fairytale.

No offense to the author but this was bad. I usually don't like writing bad reviews but all I can say is, thank god this was free or else I would want a refund.
The story is too blah. There's no trails for the characters to experience, they see each, fall in to bed and are in love. She moves into his house with her best friend all is happy times for both. No drama and I usually read romance for the fantasy factor but this was ridiculous. Sorry but it was a waste of time

I am an avid reader and I'm always searching for that wonderful love story to sweep me away for a few hours. The problem with that is usually the stories are basically the same, just different character names, no real originality. Well, let me tell you if your tired of the status quo this is the book for you! ORIGINAL IDEA HERE! Falling For A Muse is the story of Kelly and Austin who fall in love instantaneously and take that leap of faith. They know in a matter of days that there is no one else for them. Their love survives time and distance. I loved how the story developed and takes you on that roller coaster ride of passion. These two steamed up my Kindle on more than one occasion. There is some drama to contend with but nothing the author drags out, which I totally appreciate. I absolutely LOVED this book and highly recommend it. I'm anxiously awaiting L. Mertz's next book. She mentions this will be an ongoing series. I'm sure the next book will be as original as this one.

So, Austin and Kelly- completely took me by surprise!! I was so expecting Kelly's BFF and Austin to hit it off- and damn if Kelly didn't surprise me!! That girl jumped in head first. Didn't even look back. I mean, she packed up her entire life and moved halfway across the country, all on a leap of faith to be with this man. Who does that?? Well, if you are one of Mrs. Mert's characters- apparently, you do!! And to meet Austin's family, and see how they just swooped in and made Kelly feel at home- it made me do a little sigh.

I loved their dynamic, even when I wanted to shake sense into Kelly for blowing up at him, only because she couldn't see his true alpha nature. Anyone could see that these two were crazy about each other, and that Kelly's leap was an incredibly smart choice. This was a great start to this series, and I was happy to have read it!!

5 stars!!

***** I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review*****

Falling For A Muse was a good easy read. I gave it a 4 star rating because even though it kept me turning pages it lacked a depth to the characters and storyline in general that I like to have when reading books.
The book was a very sweet read. For the most part it was a very upbeat story with some humor. It is all about love at first site. It is a great love story I just needed a little bit more. While there are some ups and downs between Kelly and Austin they don't last long and are gone over really quick.
As an avid reader I thought the story was good. Austin and Kelly are good characters and make good leading rolls. I would recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a nice, sweet, easy read.

A true love at first sight story.

Kelly & Austin meet at an Indie Author event and are immediately drawn to each other. All it takes is a weekend for them to realize this is the one.

They have their ups and downs, much like real life, but work it out.

I enjoyed this story, short and sweet, I can't wait to see what Mertz comes up with next, hopefully a followup to this one?? Give us an idea what happens with Amber, Hailey & Bobby? An maybe a little future life for Austin, Kelly and baby.

Great debut story, it kept me reading, finished in one sitting, I couldn't put it down until I was done.

This book is outstanding for anyone who wants to read about falling in love! The author made this story one of the best she could have! I loved how it all comes together from beginning to end! The cover model is definitely one to fall in love with. This story keeps you wanting more until the end. I read this book all the way til the end. I never once put the book down. L. Mertz knows how to write a book. I was desperately waiting for the second book to come out.

To my favorite author I'm sorry it took so long to do my review but you totally kick butt writing lady. Arc was provided for honest review.

The idea for this story is a good one, but the writing is very amateur. The story reads like a diary- this happened and then this happened and this and this. Very mono-toned and rather boring. The author tells us what the character feels instead of letting the emotions be felt. I felt no emotional connection between the characters and after 20 hours of knowing each other life changing decisions were being made--too fast for me. The last half of the book dragged and the one climatic situation wasn't enough of a rush for me to feel connected either.

Falling for a muse is a short wonderful love story.

Kelly and Austin meet at a Indie Author Event and hit it off right away! There is no denying their attraction, Kelly tries to fight it at first but realizes its no use. I love how their love survives time and distance!

This is a quick read filled with love, friendship, drama, a blessing and a miracle.

I absolutely LOVED this short TRUE LOVE story!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

This is an amazing jump into the deep end kind of love story. Love at first sight and the strength to follow it. He is an Indie author's muse and she is a great friend that goes to an author event with a friend. Fun and Love ensues. A little trouble at the end but they work through it and come out stronger on the other side. Cannot wait for more from this author :)

I really like this book. It was a face paced read that kept me interested. The two main characters, Kelly and Austin, fall hard and fast for each other. He gives their budding relationship everything he has while she holds back, but in the end love always wins out.

3.5 stars. Good, quick read. Love at first sight was expected. A little confused by some of Kelly's behavior at a certain point in the book. Simply didn't make sense. If not for that, i would have rated it higher.

This was a sweet book..but spicy too! I liked the characters, the storyline, and how it ended. My only complaint was that it moved too fast for me, and I would have liked more!

I thought this book was cute, it was a fast read. The story line was cute, and I liked how the hero was a book cover model. Always wanted to know what it was like to date a book cover model. lol.
