This was a nice collection of stories that had your typical boy meets girl scenarios. Of course not all the girls were ladies or wanted to be treated like ladies which made for some really spicy encounters for sure. I had originally thought all 4 books tied in together but only books 1 & 2 are the same characters and continuation of story. Books 3 & 4 are stand alone and very good in their own right and shows the depth of talent that the Author has. Book 3 is more mystical then the others as it deals with a werewolf pack which is a totally different genre to me. I think book 4 ended up being my favorite as it was just so different of a story! All the books pulled you in and the characters came to life on the pages which is no easy feat for sure. I enjoyed them all and look forward to reading more from this author in the near future.
I tried. I really did. I finished the first book and then thought, okay, maybe the second one will be better. Finished the second book and said, okay, this is just too painful and frustrating. DNF.
Between the horrible 2020 pandemic, being stuck at home, then 2021 and all this snow and ice this was such a welcome change from all the politics, weather and depression....loved loved loved this set of 4 novels...romance, love, sex...you get it all....will be following this author...
I enjoyed 3 out of 4 of the stories. The 3rd story is a werewolf fantasy - not something I dislike, it's just that it wasn't very good. It was written as a short story but it needed more fleshing out.
I particularly liked the first two stories although some of the second story was unnecessarily smutty, the third one involving wolves was not my cup of tea the final story was very good in respect of the plot however surely one explicit bedroom scene in sufficient!
Believable characters, interesting plots, satisfyigaAng endings make for comfortable read. A worth while collection for lazy afternoons Enjoy the escape.
Totally riveting! Strong heroines who find even stronger heroes. Their heroes are gentle, supportive, and loving - and SEXY! Very unique twists and turns in each story.
Loved this series of romance novels. They are all fun to read and quite different from each other. I didn't have a clear favorite, but the stronger and more independent heroines are my favorites. I picked up the collection on Amazon for 99 cents and it was a great way to spend a few cold hours this winter. Enjoy!
Who doesn't love the Victorian Era? (It's been a loooong time since I read this, so I hope I got that right). Fancy balls, ridiculous social etiquette that is just dying to be broken, hopelessly romantic rakes, and the mold breaking stubborn women they love. The entire collection was completely wonderful and perfectly balanced.
The Nude was good, emotional, and sufficiently sexy to feel realistic. The first book was OK. The second preposterous: the heroine is a ninny. The third book is obviously fantasy and feels rushed. Read the last book (The Nude) and ignore the others.
For romance and mystery lovers, I highly recommend this collection of books. The series is captivating and emotionally fulfilling. I couldn't seem to put the books down.
an enjoyable and fun reading experience with an opportunity to sample several different authors and quite different but fun characters in different situations. although maybe not a keeper, definitely worthwhile reading
Well written with the foibles of men and women delightfully portrayed. While I am usually uninterested in weres and other creatures of the night the one of the four novels that dealt with them did so in a very readable manner.
The set was nice for the price. All four books for 99¢ on my Kindle. Also I really enjoyed them. Book one was my favorite. I just related well to May Sheffers;)
Great group of books. Each one brought something unique and different to the table. Enjoyed the group very much. If you like recency you will like this bundle.
