Ivy Sinclair cut her romance teeth on classics like Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, An Affair to Remember, and Sabrina. She is a firm believer in true love, a happily ever after ending, and the medicinal use of chocolate to cure any ailment of the heart. Ivy's guilty pleasures include sushi, endless Starbucks lattes, and wine. Readers of Ivy's stories can expect smoldering sweet stories of romance that tug at the heartstrings.
I had never read a book by Ivy Sinclair but I saw the cover and the write up and bought it. Wow am I glad I did! This book had everything you want in a small town slow burn romance. He had been hurt by his past she had been recently hurt by her ex boyfriend they met and this wonderful story begins. This author is very talented and I plan on reading more of her books. I read a lot of books and when a book is this good I want everyone to know about it.
The story went by too fast but was fun to read. I'm glad Rachael found her strength and confidence to start over. I'm glad Ethan was able to embrace the future and the changes to come. Great story. Can't wait to catch up with the rest of the family and maybe Mallery, too.
Yes, there was conflict although short and almost non-substantial. The main conflict was of the heart and not willing to hurt another person and make sure they were ready to start a relationship, really good for a trustworthy partner in which they were both cautious. Sweet story and wonderfully charming town.
Sometimes it is difficult to open your heart to love again after a great loss. Ethan and Rachel find themselves in a position where they can turn a chance meeting into something more.
This book is full of sweet characters with a nice romance about finding someone to love after losing what you thought was the greatest love of your life.
Easy to fall into the story and very enjoyable. Great character chemistry between all the characters. It takes a deep passion and love for writing to write the way this was written.
This was such a cute, Christmas romantsy book. I loved it. I love how they met. And how it took a minute before they could admit their feelings for each as they both had past relationship trauma. But it had it's happy ending that I kept hoping for. It was a really cute, quick read.
This is the type of book that is perfect for an afternoon to spend reading. The story line was sweet, nothing to complicated, leading to a HEA ending one would expect.
This was a sweet story about 2 people dealing with difficult personal issues in their past. I liked them both, but at times I just wanted to give them a push and tell them to go ahead and start a relationship already! It's a clean story too.
She'd left het job and moved to a small town only to get stuck in a snowbank during a huge storm. New life in a new town had a beautiful new beginning. It's a lovely story.
Ivy did a wonderful story about how broken hearts can find happiness when they let go of the past. It is a beautiful ending in this story and you will feel like you are there also.
Who knew one little snowstorm could change your life? I really liked Rachel and thought she was so positive and strong. I loved Ethan and his family and thought that they had such great family unity. I loved how they teased each other and showed their love with everything they did.
Sweet hallmark style story that would make a great Christmas movie. Likeable characters, though Rachel was a bit too hot/cold at times, understandably so after Jeremy’s betrayal. Loved the strength of family in times of devastation and their support in going forward. Read through KU.
What a great story about love and starting over. I loved it all the action the Christmas get together as well as the romance of it all. Truly a great story.
I wish romance happened to me as quickly as it did in this plot line 😂 little confusion, valid hesitation, honest confessions with a sprinkle of Christmas magic 👌🏻
Who would ever think that being in a snowstorm would lead to such a beautiful town experience and a wonderful new love! Loved reading this! Highly recommend!
