My thanks to the author, as he was so kind as to give me his own copy of this book. It took me forever to read because of my interest in the people involved with James I and the time period in general. My curiosity made me look into every person and event that I ran across in this book, and there is so much here. I won't say it is for everyone, but if you are fascinated by the early Stuart period this is a gem.
