PLOT: Amelia has had an obsession with her father's hitman, Zedd, for three years. What she doesn't know is that he has an obsession with her too. One day, he gives her a ticket for a sports competition in New York... far, far away from her father, in the hopes that she'll come and give herself to him before her arranged marriage in 3 weeks. She comes... and comes and comes. ;) But what happens when it gets closer to her marriage day?

THOUGHTS: Omg, Annabelle is quickly becoming a favorite novella author of mine! This one was HOT. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!!

- it took me way too much time to finish this one
- it was OTT, but in such a weird way; the writing didn't flow, the transitions from a scene to another were not smooth, hence confusing
- the plot, while interesting, had a weird pace; too many inside their head thoughts, too wordy, their thoughts were similar somehow
- the spice was nice, just that some terms used were exaggerated (like torrents of semen, 😂😂, I'm not joking, this expression was used 🤣)
- mafia setup, she's the mafia princess, he's her father's assassin
- I liked how obsessed he was; actually, how equally obsessed they were with each other;
- i loved their HEA

- safe read, he was celibate for years, since the moment she came back home and he saw a glimpse of her, it was love at first sight, while she was a V; it took them a few years to finally get together

Over-the-top alpha assassin wants the mafia princess for his own
There are only two men who have direct access to the Mafia Don Anthony Volini: his consiglieri and the assassin, Zedd. When Zedd decided to quit, he got a glimpse of the Don’s 18yo curvy daughter who had been away at school in Italy. He was immediately entranced and decided to stay just so he could see Amelia once a month! What Zedd doesn’t know is that Amelia Volini has also noticed him and waits for his monthly visits with as much anticipation as he. Now Amelia is within weeks of turning 21yo and a bargain has been struck with another mafia family to strengthen the Volini family. An arranged marriage is planned. How will Zedd and Amelia handle the news?!
Whoa! Lots of tension until there is action. Love the ending too. One thing to know about Ms. Winters is that she can write page after page of provocative action between her H and h. This book is no exception for her stimulating and exciting narrative and dialogue. The length of this book is shorter than recent books by this author but just as well plotted. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout.

Wow, I was absolutely mesmerised reading this book it was amazing, the story was written well and the characters were really sensational. This story was about Amelia Volini and Zedd, Zedd is an assassin he was only suppose to be working for the Volini Mafia family, he only stayed because of her problem is he is a nobody a blood line of nothing. Amelia is a Mafia Princess who is heavily guarded to keep her pure. Amelia's father arranged a marriage for her, Zedd was not happy he had watched her for a few years. Before her wedding he organised to watch a tennis game and left Amelia a ticket to see if she liked him. Zedd turned up to the tennis only to hope she turned up aswell. There was a lot of deals, arrangements, Mafia, killings, twist and turns, suspense, danger, secrets, maybe love, a wedding and plenty more emotions throughout.

This is the 1st book in the Curvy for Darkness Insta-Love Romance Novellas featuring the OTT steamy, alpha-male,drama,mafia romance between Zedd and Amelia. Zedd works for Don Volini as an assassin where he caught a glimpse of Amelia the Don's curvy goddess of a daughter who had been away in Italy at school. Zedd is immediately captivated by the 18yr old beauty and he changes his mind about leaving this way he'll be able to see Amelia once a month. Amelia has noticed Zedd as well and she looks forward to his monthly visits. Now with only weeks to go until Amelia turns 21 a match has been arranged with another mafia family which will strengthen the Volini family. How are Zedd and Amelia going to react to the news? You really need to read this OTT, steamy, alpha-male, drama, mafia romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book and I look forward to the next book in this series.

This book is a dark and dangerously obsessive romance between a mafia assassin and a mafia princess. It is rather addictive, beyond steamy and twisty. The two main characters Zedd and Amelia, are mad for each other and are facing a forced parting when she marries a mafia prince from another, more power family. Lust and love-crazed certainly describes Zedd who has to battle back the demons inside him that urge him to kill anyone who would keep him from Amelia. Then a change of Fate gives Zedd the opening he needs to claim her with out having her father and family stand between them. Unfortunately, the odds are stacked against him and he may well die in his effort to gain her father’s support. He has no idea that his Amelia is not about to let him face the enemy alone Mafia princess indeed.

This book is for those readers who like dark, intense romance with lots of spice. Enjoy!.

Amelia is a mafia princess. Zedd is an assassin who works for her family. They are attracted to each other. Amelia is notified that she will be married in three weeks to the son of a rival family. Zedd wants to find a way to change both their futures. Will he be successful? Will Amelia be the rival son's bride?

I enjoyed this book. I liked Amelia. I especially liked Zedd. He knew the way life would be for Amelia. Amelia hoped that was not true. Neither could see a way out but eventually Zedd did using his skills. I liked how Zedd came up with a plan so he could be the groom for Amelia. She was feisty and would not let him go without her. This reminded me of all the Beauty and the Beast retellings I've read but Amelia was never afraid of Zedd.

I look forward to more of this series.

They had loved each other from afar unknowingly for 3 years but it was only when her father the head of the Volini mafia family & his boss had arranged for her to be married off to Ralph the son of the Romero family to forge an alliance. that Zedd knew he could lose the love of his life to another man.
This story shows two unlikely lovers overcome their fears giving into what they had been dreaming about before it's too late with longing, secrets, steamy, betrayal desperately hoping for a happy ever after.

Phew! A Sizzling Novella You Won’t Want To Miss!

Ooh! He’s a brooding hunk hiding his obsession for Amelia from everyone and especially her father who would kill him if he found out.

Amelia had fancied Zedd for years and always made sure every month she was around so he would notice her.

This is one hot read, the steam oozes from the pages!

As soon as Zedd claimed her, she was his. He was one possessive assassin who would do everything in his power to keep her and no-one else would touch her but him, even though her future had now been fixed.

What a wonderful story. This is the story of Zedd and Amelia, he is an assassin and works for the Volini family. Amelia is the mafia princess and both have an attraction for each other. Zedd knows nothing can happen because she is the princess. Their story contains action. danger. violence. tension. romance and many steamy moments. You don't sit still for a moment and I could barely put the book down so I read it in one go!

Amelia is a Mafia princess and Zedd is an assassin for the Volini family. Zedd has feelings for Amelia but he thinks she's above him and he keeps his feelings for her a secret. Little did he know Amelia felt the same about him but she's been promised to a Mafia prince in an arranged marriage. This is an Annabelle Winters OTT Mafia romance with some interesting twists and turns that make this a fun read. From the danger and suspense to the secrets and drama this is a steamy Mafia romance and a great start to the Curvy for Darkness series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Amelia noticed Zedd but at was not properly trained or ready for the encounter that will make things go hmmm. Three years of wanting from afar Amelia is not in agreement of daddy making things complicated for her future. Monthly visits are nothing compared to the want of the alpha-male in Zedd. Of course Action pack Winters’ style drama, mafia romance.more curves to rescue!.

Italian Mafia… in Florida?

I really wanted to like this book, the writing was good, and the story could’ve been great, but dear god was it just so lame/cheesy. I’m a huge fan of the mafia tropes, but when you add in that it’s the Italian mafia!? In Florida!? That’s going to be a hatd no for me. 👎
