I needed divine direction. I knew raising boys was work, but I wasn't prepared for this. I was a single Christian mom in a difficult financial situation. I thought I was going to lose my mind; my child, and my faith. I was struggling in every sense-emotionally, financially, and worst of all I scared to death that I was going to lose my son. One evening, as I lay crying, God spoke to me. He encouraged me to be strong. And in response to my desperate plea for help, He lead me to the Parable of the Sower. Let this book minister to your spirit. If this message is for you, it will bless you in ways you cannot imagine. I'd read Mark 4:1-20 many times before and thought I understood if completely. But God showed me otherwise. What He taught me as I gardened and attempted to revive my Texas lawn during the worst drought in history, changed my life forever. He showed me that His word is seed. And His seed knows its purpose. But only when we sow the word correctly will we reap the benefits and see our prayers answered and breakthroughs manifested. The word of God is the seed. Over the course of time,God taught me to use the tools that He'd already given prayer, fasting, journal-writing, devotion, and declaring the word. Those tools, to name a few, are tools of Faith readily available to all of us.

She enjoys uplifting readers and encouraging them to push past painful disappointments and onward to breakthrough and deliverance. Her books are making a huge impact in the lives of readers around the world.
The Negative Self Talk series caught the attention of a publisher, Destiny Image, and Negative Self Talk (Expanded Edition), Lynn's first traditionally published title released December 15, 2015.
I am reading this book as a bonus book within Lynn R. Davis' "Deliver Me from Negative Self Talk: A Guide to Speaking Faith-Filled Words." I started reading Deliver Me from Negative Self Talk last summer but did not finish, mainly due to the plethora of other books I was reading at the time. I finally completed Deliver Me from Negative Self Talk and "Sow Much More." Only Sow Much More is titled "The Life-Changing Experience of Hearing God's Voice and Following His Divine Direction: The Fervent Prayers of a Warrior Mom" in the two-book volume that I am reading.
A wonderful, encouraging read! I began slowly returning to the Christianity of my youth a few years ago after being a spiritual generalist in New York for about three decades. My life took a serious hit in the spring of this year, May/June 2023, and I genuinely needed help. I turned to the Scriptures and decided to follow the teachings of Jesus once again.
Lynn's work has been immensely helpful because, for some reason, when I was baptized and saved as a child, I didn't grasp the part about God's promises. I essentially got saved because I was trying to avoid hell; I didn't know there were other benefits! I didn't know about the promises!
I did know the scripture that says, "All things work together for good," which was pointed out to me in a Bible fellowship that I attended years after I was saved. I didn't learn that in church. I had no idea about the promises, the instructions, and the protection I could receive from God by immersing myself in the Scriptures.
As someone who is embarking on a rediscovery of faith after many, many years, I resonated deeply with Lynn's journey. Her sincerity and authenticity shine through on every page, making the book not only instructive but also relatable.
"Sow Much More: The Life-Changing Experience of Hearing God's Voice" is Lynn's personal testimony of a time in her life when she faced troubles on multiple fronts. Her home business wasn't thriving as she had hoped, she was behind on her mortgage, and her son was facing difficulties. While all of this was happening, Lynn decided to revamp her yard during a drought. Planting the grass seeds, plucking weeds, and watering were the guiding metaphors in the book, serving as a representation of tending to our spiritual lives.
This idea, like the rest of the book, was both inspiring and practical. It's a reminder that even in the toughest of times, we can cultivate our faith and experience growth if we focus on God's Word. "All by itself, the Word of God will produce a harvest in our lives," writes Lynn. "Once planted in our hearts, it knows what to do. It knows how to bring the blessing forth. But we have to prepare our hearts before we plant it."
My journey in rediscovering faith parallels Lynn's in many ways, as my faith is often like a mustard seed—small and sometimes wavering. Lynn's formula—Meditation + Declaration = Manifestation—is a simple yet profound approach to cultivating faith. It's exactly what I need as a natural doubter, and my little mustard seed faith needs all the help it can get.
"That's why God wants us to meditate on His word day and night," writes Lynn. "And Romans 10:17 tells us that 'faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.'"
I don’t know how long I’ve had this book in my Kindle library, but I’m extremely happy I’ve finally read it. Actually, I devoured it and because of this appetizer- I also have a new found love and desire for God’s Word. The entire time I read this book, I thought of different situations I could apply the same principles in my life and circumstances. I am looking forward to the results! So grateful my heart was ready and fertile at the time of this planting and that’s exactly why I read it when I did.
I couldn't put this book down. this was my life written in a book except different circumstances. It showed me to trust in the Lord and pretty much stay positive in his word. God is faithful!
Sow much more is a powerful testimony that God's word work if we will work it! Thank you Lynn; I have been truly blessed, my strength is renewed it is just what I needed!
