Sparkle is book #1.5 in the L.A. Storm series by R.J. Scott and V.L. Locey. This is a super short downloadable novella featuring Cam and Finn.
It’s almost their wedding day. On top of keeping everything super secret from the press, making sure all the food is squared away and all the other wedding details necessary, Cam and Finn are also having to deal with their hilarious neighbor, Rottie and all his well meaning input.
This little short is so adorable. I smiled all the way through. My eyes also teared up a the end. It also contains some little teasers for the next book, Second. I loved this extra little bit of Cam and Finn’s life. The download link for it is at the end of their book, Script.

Cute, sweet, short, sweet.

This free short really only mentions Christmas in passing but in my heart that is all that's needed for a Xmas labelling😉. Frankly, I can't think of a better story that is most likely my final read of 2023. Sparkle is a short and sweet continuation of Script, the first entry in LA Storm which is the latest branch of the Scott & Locey Hockey Tree. I say "continuation" because lets face it, the characters of their hockey universe have a tendency to keep popping up here and there for a variety of reasons.
Sparkle will leave you smiling, shedding a few happy tears, and even a couple of bursts of laughter. Honestly, this free short is jam packed to the rafters with emotions in levels that one doesn't often find in a short of this size. Such a delicious surprise holiday treat.

Nothing better than a holiday wedding. Finn and Cam tie the know surrounded by family and friends, giving the reader all the feels. A perfect short for the time of year.

This was short and sweet, a glimpse into Finn and Cam’a future—where things don’t often go smoothly, but they all come together in the end. Definitely best read after book 1.
