The book "anything to win" by Gloria Miklowitz is about a senior in high school named Cam. He plays football and has has been offered a scholarship to college but Cam must gain 30 pounds to play for the college. His coach tells him he should start working out where many of the other players have went to do to gain weight. He doesn't think this will do anything. His coach tells him to try steroids. If Cam does take steroids his father is going to be very disappointed in him but if he doesn't take them he won't gain enough weight to get the scholarship. During this time his friend on the football team might get kicked off for the use of marijuana to make him relaxed during games if he does not smoke he gate to tense. So now Cam must try to help his friend and gain the 30 pounds for the scholarship. Some reasons somebody should read this book is because in the book it teaches about life choices an athlete might have to make an how there will always be consequences. Also it talks about the dangers of using steroids. Lastly if you like sports this book is about football. I thought this was a great book and I would recommend this book to any age.

This is about a very good football player named Cam. Cam plays high school football and they have not lost a game in three years. He is a great quarterback and he is offered a scholarship from the State college, but there is a catch. He needs to gain thirty pounds by January. Coach Cooney gives him a card with some numbers on it to help him out. While all this is going there is a girl that he really like but she doesn't even notice him. All the girls are usually on him and were asking him to go to the dance with Cam. Then at the dance he talks to her and she starts to like him. Cam goes to Mike, the person Cooney recommended him too. But he has to go on a diet plan and take steriods.
So far I like this book and I think its pretty interesting. I enjoy it so far.
