In this one, we catch up with the guys and their partners in the best possible way. Oh, it's the holidays, what could Gabe be putting under the tree? Perhaps...Harper? Perhaps....things Gabe loves WITH Harper? If you know, you know! ;)
OK, where was I going with this review? I got distracted with all thoughts of Gabe Effing Mercer, that dirty-talking rockstar....
L. Ann never hesitates to pull out some emotion from her readers. Whether it's a giggle from the snark or ridiculousness her characters say (I love you Dex!), or emotional strings as they go through something big. For me, there were both of those things.
Learning more about Gabe and Harper's past just solidified for me how much I love them. There are always new things we haven't seen. So getting a glimpse of that, made my heart mush.
If you're craving a trip back into the lives of your favorite rockstars, go grab this right now! You won't be disappointed. If you're like me, grab a tissue or two also. Oh and don't forget the snacks for the pillow fort/reading cave!

Well this little gem has made my Christmas.
So good to be back in Forgotten Legacys orbit with Gabe and Harper. Of course Seth, Dex and Luca as well as the girls make an appearance together with some other familiar faces. It's like they've never been away.
Gabes birthday and christmas, parties and performances what more could we ask for? Be prepared for the odd surprise and enjoy the ride as always.

Who doesn't love a return to the world of Forgotten Legacy? I love L.Ann's ongoing relationship with the FL boys and how they pop up every so often to surprise us. This festive novella celebrates all things Harper and Gabe. We get to see the rest of the band and where they are at in their lives along with Deacon and Shaun (if you love the shifter series too).
The premise is that Gabe wants to make Christmas great for Harper having the reputation of being a bit of a Grinch. Strawberry Snowflakes follows his efforts to create a Christmas party and find a perfect present.
Gabe is still the same. Vulnerable and honest with Harper, arrogant and a showman to the outside world. Harper is still the sparky and devoted FMC she has always been. You see the strength in their relationship after everything they have overcome. This Harper and Gabe feel like the future rather than wrapped up in the past and their traumas. And I loved that this novella moves their story forward, healing some old wounds and giving surprising emotional gifts to those involved.
Another great instalment in this Rockstar romance series, this time with a fun festive twist.

I may or may not be a HUGE Gabe Mercer fan. *bats eyelashes*
Seriously, though, I would have read this book even if Gabe Mercer wasn't in it because it involves Forgotten Legacy, and one simply CANNOT pass the opportunity to read ANYTHING L. Ann writes when it comes to these boys!
On to the book, I won't offer a million spoilers, nobody likes those. L. Read the blurb and then sit back and enjoy this most brilliant piece of literature. I can say, I was over the moon thrilled when I discovered this little secret. As one page turned into the next, I was in my happy place. I was back with the men of Forgotten Legacy and their amazing female other halves. With each line I read, I was once again back home.
I can say I laughed, I cried, I contemplated what was happening, I cried, I was moved, and I cried. I think I mentioned I cried. Tears of joy and happiness!
If you have read the rest of the Forgotten Legacy series, do not hesitate to get this book and read it! Your FL journey won't be complete until you do!

This was absolutely the catch up with Forgotten Legacy (specifically Gabe and Harper) I didn’t know I needed and couldn’t be more thrilled about. I will never get enough of these rockstars and the women in they love.
It’s well known Gabe doesn’t like Christmas, but Harper always has especially when they were kids. Gabe is determined to give her a surprise magical Christmas she isn’t expecting. Harper even has a few surprises of her own for him this season. I love this couple so much, they are fun, adorable, have the cutest banter and the best love story.
As always I can’t get enough of this authors writing. She has such an ability to give us a wonderful story, even in a novella like this. Never without a couple twists thrown at us! I love getting to revisit favourite characters, I will never say no to these surprise short stories, I’ll take all the Forgotten Legacy L. Ann wants to give me!

L. Ann said it was supposed to be 10,000 words but it ended up 30,000 words and let me tell you I wanted more.
I can't explain it...these rockstars have my heart. Every little thing they do I want to know about. And Gabe. He's over the top and so rockstarish (not a word, I know) but his heart is so good and so big and if he loves you—no boundaries exist.
His Christmas gift to Harper...let's just say I cried and I fell in love with him a little bit more and I didn't even think that was possible.
If you've read the seires, you will devour this book. If you haven't read this series...get on that and come back and tell me how much you loved it.

The men & women of Forgotten Legacy are all at good places in their lives. Gabe’s birthday is nearing, as well as Christmas. Harper knows he doesn’t have pleasant memories of either. Gabe knows she loves Christmas. Both of them are putting plans in place for the other.

Oh my goodness I think I literally smiled through this whole book! I'm still smiling. There's just something about these boys that feels so real. I feel like I could be one of the crazy groupies in real life. Gabe is just chef's 😘 kiss. Harper could literally be my bestie. I just love everything about this world and the Deacon Shaun cameo!!! Eeeeek I wish we'd get more of them too.
I read this Christmas Eve. I had to pause a series I was in the middle of which I never do!!! I can't jump in between books but I needed a little Gabe in my life for Christmas. Thank you so much Lee Ann. You're the rockstar 🖤

I love everything L. Ann does so I loved that she gave us a book to read to revisit the boys. I loved that it was a Christmas story and was just released before Christmas time. Gabe is his usual self and I love that about him. The story is a novella but she gave a longer version of a novella. However it was a fast and great read. Along with all the spicy things Gabe and Harper get up to as they do in the Forgotten Legacy realm. Do yourself a favor and read this book for Christmas time or whenever 😁

They’re back! I devoured this novella so fast, I absolutely loved how everyone was in it and loved the snapshot we got of everyone’s lives. The relationship between the guys is as always just *chefs kiss* it’s made me want to re-read the rest of the books.
The novella itself is Gabe and Harper (obvs really with the title!) and it’s Christmas and Gabes birthday. There’s surprises and a few good tears along the way and we even get to see some of the previous books characters! A fun quick read but to really get it first you definitely need to read the rest of the FL books!

What a great novella. Just what I needed to get in the Christmas spirit.
It’s always such a pleasure diving back into the Forgotten Legacy world, the guys just grab your attention. I love them all but especially Gabe. Love seeing how happy he and his frosty are.
As expected plenty of hot moments-this is Gabe after all! A lovely story that melted my heart. I hope we can continue reading these delightful treats. A fab book with all the feels, thanks for the Christmas gift I really enjoyed it!

This chapter of the lives of Forgotten Legacy, brought me right back to where I needed to be....crushing on a Rock band and their awesome ladies, who keep them grounded. To revisit the bonds of friendship made as children, to thosd same amazing friends now.

Be still me heart. I could live in Forgotten Legacy’s world!!! These characters are just the best and to be able to dive back into those world was fantastic. Honestly didn’t see some of the things coming but as always when Harper and Gabe and the red did the bands all here my emotions were there. Thank you Gabe for demanding more than a short because I am not sure I could ever get enough of Forgotten Legacy!

I loved being back with Gabe and Harper. Gabe ways to throw Harper a surprise Christmas party, even though he hates the holiday. Short and sweet with a little bit of strawberry spicy

A quick, fun Christmas story with the whole crew. There’s also a huge bomb dropped about Harper, in an overall good way. At first, it’s a little rocky, but it gets better. Of note, has nothing to do with Gabe (yay!). We also get to see how much effort both Gabe and Harper are putting in to grow and be better partners.
I love these little novellas because I love the story so much. It’s nice to get updates about them!

Oh. My. Goodness. How on earth can I express how much I absolutely LOVED this novella, without spoiling it? It was absolute PERFECTION! Getting to see Gabe & Harper after Neglected Consequences, happy together and settled into life and actively touring is just SO FREAKING GOOD! I'm beside myself with unadulterated joy. I'm obsessed! What an amazing short to bring us back to our favorite rockstars. Lee Ann gave us all the fun of a forgotten legacy book with a little Christmas cheer sprinkled in. We got spice and feel good moments and few surprises thrown in. Gabe as always is a menace while Harper brings out the good in him. If you love these broken boys, you won’t regret seeing how Gabe does Christmas.

Forgotten Legacy is such an amazing series, really enjoyed it so this Christmas novella was just perfection. So good to catch up with all my favourite characters again, I was so happy to get more Gabe and Seth.

What a delightful novella! This little Christmas gem had me grinning from ear to ear. Of course it stars our favorite rock star bad boy and his lavender haired beauty. There were appearances by all my faves, a little dramatic mystery and all around happy mushy, smushy feels. Love love love these guys.

This was a nice Christmas surprise. I love the Forgotten Legacy guys and their gals and this little novella was a present for sure. To be able to dive back into their world again was everything!!!! So delicious, pun intended 😉. IYKYK 😂
