Pleasantly lucid for a textbook. I guess it’s time to go memorize ANSI Z133.

The book is thorough and covers a lot. It needs more advice on experience you can only get from the field, such as tree identification and knot-tying. It also would be useful to include practice tests at the end of the book in addition to the chapter review sections.

Critical study material for the Arborist Certification, but also an excellent source of information about trees!

A clear and concise overview of topics that all arborists (or urban tree observers like myself) should know about.
