“Save a horse ride a cowboy” mkay then 🗣️where he at so I can do both?! 😌😏

Wilde was a simple man. He loved his ranch, his horses and his family and after an overbooking at his Aunt’s B&B leads to a beautiful city girl from Boston staying at his ranch, he now wants to love her too! 🥰 Wilde was a no nonsense horse breeder and tamer and while some would say he was downright mean, he had a big heart and plenty of love to give…….to the right person.

Looking for an escape from her life as a lawyer, Shore packs a bag and hops on a two day train ride to Millers Pointe. The weight of the world is on her shoulders after she has lived an her entire life dedicated to making her parents proud at the expense of her own happiness. The pressure has become more than she can bare and she finally crumbles. She went to Millers Pointe with zero expectations outside of lots of rest, relaxation and maybe a horse tour but ended up meeting and falling in love with a cowboy.

Now y’all know I’m going to always give my two cents that nobody asked for so here we go…. I enjoyed Wilde and Shore’s easy going angst free journey to HEA. Life on a ranch seems like a slow paced experience that allows you to “stop and smell the roses” so the story was in line with what I would expect from that lifestyle. Was it werewolf intensity? No. Was is MC intensity? No. But it was cowboy intensity; a slow creep up that catches you off guard.

I enjoyed the flirtatious build up between Wilde and Shore. It was subtle but their intentions were clear. They wanted each other real bad! Two highlights for me were Wilde defending Shore when her mama called talking out the side of her neck and the oversized sweater snowman challenge at the holiday game night! Im definitely stealing that idea.

The taming of the wild horse was a missed opportunity to add something special to the story. Why make that such a significant part to the beginning of the story and who he is as a horse whisperer only to do nothing with the information. We the readers wanted to see that process through to the end. After the way Shore bonded with Mosley I just knew she was going to have this big bonding moment with the wild horse and calm her down. Kinda like “oh she’s a horse whisperer too”. It would have been a perfect addition to the story and would’ve been perfect when she let Wilde sleep in and took care of the barn duties for the day. I can picture it vividly especially since it was the same horse that caused her to fall off the railing.

Overall I enjoyed the story. It wasn’t an intense romance but it did give me what I expect from a a cowboy while also educating me on the lifestyle in general.

Wilde is a simple man with simple needs. He just wants to train his horses, work his ranch, and be in bed by 8pm sharp and not a minute later. While he does have family, Wilde is quite the loner and he prefers it that way. My guy is not a people person so, when his auntie asks him to let one of her guest stay at his ranch Wilde is not a happy camper. After having a mental breakdown trying to live her parent’s dream, Shore is in dire need of a break. That break comes in the form of a solo vacation to small town USA. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, the room Shore booked at a quaint little bed and breakfast is no longer available. So, now she finds herself in Miller’s Point with no room and, because it’s the holidays, all of the surrounding hotels are booked. Auntie Mel to the rescue! She suggests Shore stays at her nephew’s ranch so she can get an up close and personal view of what ranch life is really like. When these two meet on the train platform, the birds are chirping, the butterflies are fluttering, and a small town love story is born. I love the simplicity of Wilde and Shore’s love journey. They matched each other’s energy and both of them just wanted peace of mind. I loved how Shore adapted to ranch life and how quickly she fell in love with it. Sis was ready to trade in her business suits and red bottoms for cowboy boots and a Stetson permanently. While the storyline moved slow a times, I really enjoyed Wilde and Shore.

I wanted more

This was a wholesome read and I get it, it is a Christmas story. However, it was a little slow for me and I was bored. Overall they lacked passion. While it was clear that Wilde was feeling Shore, and he was a little possessive over her I just didn't feel the connection. The gestures were there...from both of them, but again it just missed the mark for me. Wilde had moments where he spoke real sexy and had some BDE potential, then when they were alone he would retreat 🥴. I wanted him to stand on all that ish he was talkin. Not a bad read, but could have been less pages and amped up on the connection and passion.

The errors🥴 The title showing on Amazon is spelled differently than the name on the cover. Every single page showed the incorrect spelling of Wilde's name at the top.

I swear I’m ready to look for Miller’s Pointe on Google, pack my ish, and go! 😂 These rugged cowboys with huge hearts, and all that BDE are just everything! 😍

Wilde! I loved his laid-back demeanor. Didn’t bother nobody, just wanted to take care of his horses and be left alone. Well….. Auntie Mel bout to knock those thoughts out the park my boy! Pushing one of her guests onto Wilde, as she had a situation at her B&B, almost took him out! But he can’t say no to Auntie Mel, so off to the train station he goes. When he sees the woman, he is to spend a week with he is smitten. But still not happy about having her in his space, and unable to remove the scowl from his face, just yet…..

Shore! After letting her parents rule her life, she has come to a crossroads, and wants a change. Thus, ending up in Miller’s Pointe at Christmastime. Having this large, mean mugging, yet sexy man meet her at the train station makes her heart skip a beat. This may be just what I need, she thinks.

These two were magical in their simplicity. I loved how quickly and easily Shore adapted to ranch life, and pulled her weight like it was her 9 to 5. She seemed to need to fresh air, and different type of work structure that the ranch had to offer. Then there was Wilde, her sexy cowboy! They were just so adorable, and I enjoyed how they took their time with all that they did together.

Wilde earned big points for puttin’ Shore’s momma in her place! However, I wish we had the opportunity to see on page Shore’s interactions with Wilde’s parents, as family is so important to him. Another great adventure in Miller’s Pointe.

After an unexpected birth forces a Bed and Breakfast to change the housing situation for a guest, Wilde has to allow said guest in his home for one week. This was a classic close proximity storyline done by well. I felt like both characters needed each other in ways they didn’t understand right away and getting to experience them was such a treat. I loved how Wilde poured confidence into Shore to stand up to her parents. I sympathized with her character, because I too didn’t want to be a disappointment to my parents so I understood her situation. However, during the one week, Shore realized that her happiness comes first. I loved seeing her out of her element and eagerly wanting to learn and get her hands dirty. Wilde was just what she needed and she in turn, brought the Christmas joy that he lacked. The chemistry and intimacy was the icing on on the cake. Let’s just say Santa wasn’t the only one delivering “packages” for Christmas..Good read for me!

A Wild Ride

Each story in the series gets cuter by the minute. The city girl meet rancher theme is all right with me. Shore was the cutest damsel, and Mr. grumpy Wild made my day. His bark was not too tough. I loved this Insta ranch-style romance.

The epitome of a black cowboy.

And the black cowboy series continues. When I imagine a sexy black cowboy Wilde fits that description to a tee. A tall, bulky man with calloused hands who has a ten-pack of abs from throwing bails of hay and training horses. His life revolves around the ranch while his brother lives out his MLB dream and his parents take care of his grandparents' ranch. Wilde just fits the typical cowboy everyone imagines one to be. He was a complete gentleman although he wasn't happy about Shore coming to stay with him. Her visit was well needed for him and her. He had to be lonely on that big ranch with pastures and pastures of land. She needed an escape from a stressful career that was forced on her because her parents couldn't finish their career dreams. She was the woman he didn't realize he needed in his life. They actually complemented each other quite well. She was more than willing to get her hands dirty and jump in on all the daily chores. She was bold and brave enough to start and complete the morning routine on her own without any help. She did an exemplary job at it. Although Wilde was raised to be a gentleman he did not play about Shore so when he set her mother straight I was cheering him on. Shore's mother needed someone to give it to her raw with no chaser. Shore's mother had to realize that she could not live her life and failures through her children. Shore was just as content with being an activities coordinator 6 a lawyer. Her being a lawyer took years of hard work and studying so her new job speaks for itself. Wilde, the ranch, and all that came with it is what made Shore happy. She finally got to live her life on her terms with a man who loved her deeply.

Miller's Pointe seems more and more like a small town where you want to just visit and never leave. Each couple is being sucked into the simplistic lifestyle these ranchers are living. I am interested in how the next couple experience Miller's Pointe. If you haven't got into this series, I recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

If I had to sum this book up, it would simply be Ride A Cowboy for Christmas. Wild and Shore were a perfect fit. Enjoyed the ranch.

Give me a Wilde any day💕

Wilde is my favorite (sorry Beau). Whew he was truly a pleasure to read, so I’m sure Shore is loving life in their fictional world. She needed room to figure out life and ended up finding a man and his horse. Talk about a great time! Shore’s parents were overbearing, but they still didn’t too Tori’s so I’d say that’s a win. She and Wilde were meant to be and happily acted on it.

perfect

This was exactly what I have been wanting from this collection. The other stories are solid but the fmcs annoyed me, lol. Shore is my favorite thus far. But Kit is still my fav mmc. Anyways I will forever love Mills’ writing style and her narrative voice. There was a slight moment where the story lost my attention but overall the easy going, instant attraction was well paced and a smile inducing read.

Christmas Magic

"Wilde & Shore: A Miller's Pointe Christmas" by K.C. Mills is like the ultimate holiday movie in book form! Shore, our main character, isn't your typical lawyer. Nope, she despises the legal world and is all about breaking free from that corporate grind. Now, toss in the holiday spirit, a dash of drama, and some unexpected turns in Miller's Pointe—it's a cozy read with a twisty plot that'll keep you hooked. Perfect for anyone who loves a good story with a side of Christmas magic and a protagonist who's not your average attorney! 📚🎁

Enjoyed it, just wish there was a bit more passion maybe ? Still a good read

Overall I enjoyed the story but something was missing ……..it started off really strong but then as the story progressed it seemed to kind of stall and drag a bit……like I knew Wilde & Shore had the feelings for one another, I felt it but like a certain uhmppp was missing from them. It like I wanted more from their story

But even with all that I would recommend it for a light read. Some slight errors towards the end of the book but nothing too crazy

(Book 3 of 6) Wilde & Shore by K.C. Mills
A lawyer with a failed career…
A cowboy who refuses to settle…

-A week of forced proximity 😌 As a novella, this was too slow to really pack a punch. Because this felt like more of a slow burn, it didn’t feel like we had enough time to feel Wilde and Shore’s chemistry. I didn’t feel the passion between the two.

I love the idea of this magical week at Miller's Pointe where all these couples fall in love. so far, these stories have been layered on top of each other. happening at the same time. what was in the water? all these sexy cowboys getting knocked off their feet by these city women. I'm loving it. this was Wilde and Shore's story. Wilde a rancher and Shore, an out of work lawyer.

I find it no surprise that I’ve enjoyed yet another love story set in Miller’s Pointe. Wilde and Shore and how they seemed to fall in step with one another right away was cute to read about. Wilde definitely *wanted* to be a grump but definitely didn’t have it in him.

He showed up to get her with an attitude but it disappeared almost immediately. There must be something in the water at Miller’s Pointe because all these men know exactly what they want the moment they see it with no hesitation whatsoever. I love it!

The only thing that threw me off was how Shore was a woman in her mid 30s but let her parents run her life for so long. Something about the interaction with her parents was giving me someone in their early to mid twenties. The way her mother talked at her (yes, at her…because she definitely didn’t care what Shore wanted or had to say) felt like she was talking to a child or someone fresh into adulthood…not a full grown woman. Shore seemed so much more assertive and confident (even though she was going through something) at the beginning of the book.

I love a good fluffy romance and (for me) this was very much that.

Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy 🤠 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I truly love Wilde and Shores story. ❤️❤️❤️
I could understand Shores situation of trying to escape living a dream that wasn’t hers. Stuck in a career that she didn’t even enjoy. When she loses her job right before Christmas, she figures it was the perfect time to get away and really figure out what she wanted out of her life for herself.
Things were going as planned until she received a phone call owner of the B&B in a place called Miller’s Pointe called and informed her that Alternative arrangements had been made for her lodging because her room was not ready due to an unexpected birth of a baby ,and its parents not being able to give up the room.

To Shores surprise instead of being given another room at the B&B she finds out she wild be spending the week leading to Christmas on Ranch own by a Cowboy named Wilde☺️.

That’s all the spoiling I’m going to do with this Sweet wonderful short Christmas story. It was a delight to read ❤️

Saddled Up & Settled In

Hmmm🤨, “Wilde & Shore: A Miller’s Points Christmas” (3.75⭐️’s) was a decent holiday read until it was revealed Shore was/is thirty four years old & she’s stowed away at Miller’s Pointe like a runaway slave. WHAT🥴⁉️How or why is/was Shore’s career choices & or her unemployment status a relevant or a plausible consideration (ANY decisions pertaining to her life good, bad, reckless & or felonious) for scrutiny or a family conversation? What is there to justify? Why does a grow woman have anxiety regarding her parent’s opinion? Did I miss something? Uh, well saddle up & settle in (aka brace yourself 🫣) for the first (last & only) festive family FaceTime 🤬🤷🏾‍♀️…welcome to the new & improved Shore, clear & concise‼️I’m baffled with this storyline. If this novella were about a woman transitioning careers and or redefining herself or her passion/purpose in life and found a country romance instead, I would have been cool with Shore & Wilde’s HEA. This intrusive parental narrative however was just weird 🥴‼️

Oh I just loved this sweet cowboy romance novella! KC Miller is true to her brand “crafting romance with an edge”! Wilde is this alpha male whose sole focus is on his family’s ranch and its continued success. Shore is a former lawyer who is searching for something outside of the office. Shore is also attempting to avoid bringing the bad news to her family who expects so much of her. She travels to Miller’s Pointe in hopes of an escape but she is met with a hunk of a cowboy Wilde. They instantly connect in more way than the obvious. Christmas always brings a sense of family and romanticism! I expected no less in this novella. Spice level was a 3 not too steamy but it was there! I really enjoyed it in its entirety!

Christmas Love

Enjoyed this Christmas story, Wilde was definitely a man for Shore! I love that Shore was out of her comfort zone, from the city to the country. Shore was a driven woman, who finally found her voice to become independent from her parents hopes and dreams with the help of Wilde. Wilde was about his business, but having Shore around reminded him that it was more to life than handling his ranch. I love the family dynamics, especially the siblings. I loved the epilogue, I want to see more, because I would love to see Wilde go to Boston!

A Wilde Ride

I love this book, I connected with both Wilde and Shore the moment I started reading. I enjoy hearing mentions of characters from the previous stories, I am hooked on all things Miller Pointe. Wilde and Shore are easy to relate to and have become my favorites so far. Their story was beautifully told. My cheeks hurt from how much I smiled while reading, but I am now in need of one of these sexy Black Cowboys who know how to treat a woman. Especially after those spicy moments, sheesh I needed a cold shower lol

Wilde just became my fav cowboy book bae. When Shore arrives in Miller's Pointe her B&B is overbooked so she's forced to stay at Wilde's ranch for a true ranch experience. Grumpy cowboy, forced proximity, instant connection. Wilde and Shore were so cute together. I loved the way they worked so well together and how supportive Wilde was of Shore and her helicopter parents. Sidenote but why are so many of the parents awful in this series?!
