Clanguard has started a war—and I will do anything to stop it.
Eight years ago, Linan Clanguard successfully staged the attack and slaughter of my family’s clan. I will not let it happen again. The proof of his betrayal lies in my parents' imprisonment—because after all of these years, the truth has been revealed. My parents are alive, and I just have to find a way to free them.
Unfortunately, my mates and I are struggling to locate my parents, let alone free them. But with the help of Rachel and her mates, as well as some witches from Carmina…we may just be able to pull it off before the clock ticks down to the start of senseless bloodshed.
No matter what happens, one thing is clear—Trabea, my mates, and myself will never be the same again.

*Reverse Harem *PNR *multi-POV *dragon shifters *unknown FMC *quest-like *prophecy *vengeance storyline *established harem (3) *slow/mid burn 🔥 *4/4 Flashy Finale A solid ending to this series! The story progresses well throughout this final book with a good sprinkling of steamy scenes, although there is more of a plot focus which does fit with this story/series 😃 after the ending of the last one there is a lot for Bexley to contend with and tough decisions to make, but with those she learns a lot about herself and the past that’s led to their current situation! There is some relationship development largely with the final bonding of her mates. As expected there is a “final battle” with a bit of a clanger thrown in there to add drama. What’s been great about this series is seeing our FMC really come into her own ☺️ even more so with the Epilogues, they really add to the HEA 🥰
This was absolutely perfect. Filled with excitement and drama; deceptions, revelations, and above all that, so much love. I had fallen for these characters over the course of the earlier books, and this one just cemented my feelings. We got to witness Bex step into her power, and the four of them grow into their relationship. The extra extended epilogues were simply… chef’s kiss. Now that I know what their future looks like, I’m even more reluctant to let go of these characters. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
An amazing journey. I mostly loved the story, but I have a few issues with the series as a whole.
Firstly, I believe the series could have been more concise if it were smaller, perhaps as a duology. Instead, the books were not solid individually and its book was focus on specific aspects of the story, for example romance, action etc .Not that I did not love to have more to read, but I feel it would have made the story stronger. Also, I would love to see more of the actual magic school, which was one of the reasons I picked up the series. Regarless, I loved the childhood friends to lovers and the whole curse. A very unique take and a wonderful world-building. The polyrelationship was also well balanced.

I was so excited for this book. I have loved Bexley from the start. Watching her come into her own and yet still being such a sweet person is amazing. This is the perfect ending for Bexley and her mates. So much happens in here that you can't stop reading it once you start. If you love dragons and action you definitely want to read this book
This is the last book of the series and I’m sad to see it end.
The world building was top notch, as with all M Sinclair’s books. She paints a picture like no other; one look and you’re trapped in a vivid whirlwind that transports you to another level. The descriptive settings were just phenomenal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first three books of the series but I made a serious boo-boo by not rereading in prep for this release. This is a series you binge read all at once, not with big gaps. It’s a complex universe and there’s a lot going on. I feel I would have loved it more had I have read them all together; it fell a bit flat for me. It started slow and ended quickly. The plot was amazing but parts felt rushed, especially towards the end.
I still loved all the characters and was thrilled to see Bexley finally come into her own and become the woman she was always supposed to be. It’s the HEA Bex and her men so deserved after everything they endured. The epilogues made the story ever so sweeter.
The love between Bexley, Jagger, Gage and Breaker knows no bounds, they are the perfect mates. The chemistry is steamy in the scenes throughout the book but this story is more plot focused than steam, which fits the series.
I’m all down for a growly dragon and the men in this series hit the spot. A possessive alpha hole is just delicious!
Would recommend but highly suggest you binge all 4 books together.
Flash was everything I could have hoped for in the series concluding book. War is coming, and Bex and her guys are meeting it head-on.
There was plenty of action both physical and magical. Bex has been sheltered all her life and she's just now realizing it but I love that she steps up anyway. Bex did surprise me at the end, there was an unexpected change in her but I don't consider it a bad one. As for the guys, they're still great. I always liked how protective and possessive Bex's mates were of her, and that hasn't changed, if anything it has only solidified more.
It just confounds me how one person could cause so much damage. Linan was like a supervillain, all his dark deeds were dragged into the light. I was shocked, it was worse than I thought. Loads of stuff get revealed, including Linan's reason for all of this, his ultimate goals, and past events; it was wild. Like most supervillains, Linan was insane. There were also some touching moments between the parents and the younger groups, between Bex and the guys. I loved the epilogues, that's right we get multiple.
I was addicted to this series, I can't believe that it's over and that it's time to say goodbye to another Dark Imaginarium series. Flash was amazing and wrapped up the story perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Flash is the final book in the Storm Dragons’ Mate series, and you can look forward to a whopper of a HEA for Bexley and her men. Just wait for it. It’s probably one of the best ones yet. This final book in the series picks up where the last book left off. Bexley has learned some ground breaking secrets. Her parents? They’re alive. Held for years by Linan, and no one ever knew. Shocking stuff, right? Well, it’s time for his reign of terror to end! Flash is a fast-paced story that will keep you glued to the pages. There will be some steamy scenes, but they won’t take over the story. It’s nice to see Bexley grow as a character and for the naive angle to be less the focus since she’s maturing. She still hangs on to her beliefs, but that doesn’t mean she won’t do what’s necessary to make sure her family and loved ones are safe. There is no big epic battle to see the end of Linan, but we won’t howl too much about that. It comes to a decent conclusion and that’s all that matters. Flash does a good job wrapping up the series and giving readers a glimpse at the future as well. For now, we’re glad that all is well with Bexley and her men.
I swear I have a bone to pick with M. Sinclair.. she makes me fall in love with her characters so much that I never want to let them go!
Flash was the perfect ending to Bexley and her mates story, once again picking right back up after the last book this final chapter is full of tension, excitement, angst, action, love, and of course spice!!
My favorite aspect of this entire series is how Bex’s character not only grew as she came into her own power and confidence but how true to herself she stayed! Sure she might be on the precipice of war… but the girl still knows what she wants. The men are still deliciously possessive and somehow become even more obsessed with their girl!
I enjoyed the conflict with Linan and honestly appreciated bisexual super villain vibes. He still filled that standard villain role but it was the perfect balance to Bex’s happy go lucky personality. Bonus points for the sweet moments we got through the side characters and the extended epilogues as they gave me exactly what I needed!
Bexley's last book was great! Her sweetness remained, but we also got to see her fierce protective side come out to play. AND let's talk about the epilogues! I am an epilogue enthusiast, and we are treated to THREE for Bex and her loves! This is a great comfort read series, and I'll read it again for sure.
I absolutely loved Bexley and her journey for answers, vengeance, and, of course, her happily ever after. I am truly sad to see these characters go-- they were some of my favorites in this series. All the action, ALL the RH goodness! SO GOOD!
I absolutely love reading M. Sinclair’s books and this last book in this series was no different. She has created this dramatic and extraordinary world that has made me completely invested in her characters. It is fantastic to read the growth of these characters and the way that Bex has become her powerful self in this book is great to read. I loved the extended scenes at the end, these really bring this series to an end with a high level of satisfaction.
I *want* to love this book but... Man it just didn't quite hit me the way I was hoping.
I love the universe created for this story. I actually like the characters in this portion of the series, mostly but, Bex could and should have been so much more well rounded. Early in the series it's noted how much strength people instinctively feel from her and in the ending of this book she herself mentions that she wished she had more/better training so she could be as competent as her mates. Unfortunately very few pages later she folds like a house of cards, uses the guys as a crutch and destroys a building due to the excess power instead of using just her own strength and taking down the single antagonist which would have left the building intact. She could have done it herself three times over but never embraced her own capacity. It's disappointing that the MAIN CHARACTER wasn't allowed to show her own ability and success. If literature aimed at mostly female audiences cannot showcase female capacity, how can we expect it in main stream society?
That said, the antagonist is well written. The universe is complex but well divided in the separate portions of this series, and consistent across the separate focal groups and their stories. You get the HEA, the adventure and the win.
The epilogues are primo for this pack too! The 10k ring though? Come on, has the author looked up what that would look like? It's massive and would not work at all for daily wear. I'm not even touching on litters. *Shudders*
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Bexley's character kind of lost my interest by this book. While I like that she's compassionate and selfless, I feel like she's a weak person. She doesn't seem to understand the shifter world and that's confusing. She did lose her memories, but they didn't think to prepare her in any way for the world she belonged in? They made her into a pampered airhead that cared about clothes and little else? I don't get that. She's emotionally unprepared for her world, but she's physically unprepared too. At no point in this series do we see her learning anything about her dragon's capabilities or magic. Things may have happened somewhat quickly in the timeline, but while she mentions learning to fight, nothing ever happens. She has no stamina. Every time she uses her dragon for anything other than flying, she passes out. Like the last few books, we get an abundance of her sleeping or bathing.
I know I'm sounding negative, but I did enjoy the plot of this story. I enjoyed the guys, who basically save this story from being a complete flop. They are smart, protective, and capable. That being said, what was up with the final battle? First off, it was over rather quickly considering the build up. Next, how did Linen get from being in a fight with Breaker, to being in the castle so quickly and easily? I mean, he managed to leave a fight, make it to the castle, get in the castle (yes, I know he had help there), and capture everyone in the castle in the time it took Bexley to hold a conversation and get down to the yard? Um, that's way too unrealistic. While I'm glad the villain is taken out, I just didn't get how he got so strong. Carol tells us the "story", but it makes no sense! I won't go into detail, but , Carol is so powerful that she can create power draining weapons and cages, but she can't help herself? She can't protect her children? She was willing to help Linen control his people, leading to sexual slavery, death, and forced labor all because of what? Her kids? I'm sorry, but if she was that powerful, there's no way she couldn't have figured a way to save herself, her children, and all those people. She was also good friends with several powerful women, but she doesn't speak to them and ask for help? Sorry, but I don't buy it.
I did enjoy the epilogues and overall story line. I just read so much that my mind finds all the ways that the story doesn't make sense. Sometimes I annoy myself! I DO believe the series is worth reading. It's entertaining and ties into some of the other series the author has.
Another DIA series in the books! This one's the grand finale for Bexley and her mates, so buckle up!
It picks up right where book 3 left off, so it's easy to jump back in. We know exactly who the bad guy is: Linan Clanguard. He wants Bexley to get his hands on his very own storm dragons and is more than willing to wage war to get her. But her mates, the other dragon families, and the shifter factions won't make it easy for him. Still, Bex will have to go all out to stop him for good and get revenge for all he has caused.
The book is nonstop action with some moments to catch your breath. Be warned, don't start this one unless you have time to finish it, as you won't be able to put it down! Even with all the planning for war and many other things going on, we get to see Bex's relationship grow deeper with Gage, Breaker, and Jagger (swoon). And, of course, she still loves cupcakes and sparkles! I love that she stayed true to herself and her principles as much as she could. And we really do share a love for cupcakes :D
One thing I love about these books is that the end is not the end. Nope, you get multiple epilogues! Please, and thank you for more of that! :D
This series is amazing, though I have to admit I liked the earlier books a bit more because they had more character development overall. Still, it's a fantastic ending to the series.
All I can say is that if you haven't read any of the DIA series, you're missing out!
I feel like this is a series best read as a binge. So if you’re late to the party, you are in luck, because the whole series has now been released. It was also the point that the holes in my knowledge of this universe really became apparent, because apparently they’re all interconnected and build the lore as a whole, so there were points where I had little clue about what they were discussing. Kind of killed the pacing and really through me out of the story whenever they’d mention a rebellion or change in leadership in the area etc because I had zero background knowledge of any of it, and it wasn’t relevant to the current storyline. There is so much action in this book, and the team are constantly in motion as they work to defend their world from Linan Clanguard. Expect a billion cameos and scenery changes. Again, I don’t know all these characters, but they’re presented in a way that makes me believe I should do. It definitely sets up for events in other spinoffs (or reiterates events that happened in other series? It could go either way) The final fight scene… is a little simplistic. It was building to something and pretty much cut itself off. There are many epilogues set at different points in the future that give some amazing closure, but also set up future books. No way will there not be a next generation set. It’s very definitely the HEA Bex and her guys deserve after everything they’ve been through.
Bex has grown so much since the first book, but she’s kept her shiny personality throughout. I loved her total faith that everything would work out, even when she had her insecurities and doubts.
Jagger has been my favorite throughout the series, and that continues in this one. I’m so glad they finally completed their bond! Breaker, Gage, and Jagger are all so cute with their possessiveness and love for Bex.
This is a total minor detail, but it’s one I’ve been hung up on since it was mentioned in the first book. Did we ever find out what Jagger’s chest tattoo is?? Did I completely miss that?! Someone please tell me if I did! I know we got the answer for his rune, but I don’t remember reading anything about the chest piece, and it’s been seriously bugging me this whole time!
Other than that, the action in this book was great. I love action and dangerous scenes in books, so I was excited to read the few scenes we got in Flash! Great battle. I wish it had gone on a little longer, but I almost always feel like battles in books are too short, so that’s definitely just personal preference.
The epilogues were fantastic. I love love love extended and additional epilogues. They really help to wrap up a HEA, especially for series, in my opinion.
4.5 stars for this book, and I’d say 4 stars for the series overall! 1 chili pepper for spice, but the story made up for it.
Bexley has no memories of the previous (I believe) 8 years of her life. Anytime she searches for answers she’s left in blinding pain. She lives with her best friend Gage who is a storm dragon and his family. She is accepted into the college he attends and there she meets Jagger and Breaker (both dragons as well). At school she finally finds out who she is and who exactly the men are to her.
This series was pretty good! Very cutesy, kind cringey, but an easy read overall. I thought Bexley was super sweet and her mates were completely devoted to her. I found it refreshing that the men also saved themselves for her. However, I thought Bexley wasn’t as smart as she was made out to be. Like she struggled to put two and two together a lot and it was really annoying lol. Sinclair tends to write her heroines as very sweet girls who never curse which I find funny but also STOP SAYING ‘FREAKING’. Eh, maybe that’s just me. I did really like the whole world building, though would’ve loved to explore it more. I enjoyed reading but definitely skimmed the last book.
So, this review is not just for this book, but for the series as a whole, as well. It was alright, but definitely not my favorite books. In this book in particular (especially near the end), there were a lot of new people and new things happening all of a sudden that just worked out conveniently.
On the books, as a series.... How much does this girl sleep/pass out? It seems like every other chapter she falls asleep or passes out and one of the guys has to carry her to bed or somewhere. Plus, she sleeps in long increments, too. 12 hours here, 48 hours there. In addition to that, she is constantly eating, as well. I get that people get hungry, but having her hunger brought up over and over (nobody else's) is just superfluous. Then, we find out that dragons can't die from starvation, so what is the point of having to eat so much? That just didn't fit together right, for me.
The flashbacks! In this last book, most of them were not even necessary. They were just... there. We didn't get anything out of them. And then, to have one right in the middle of this huge battle at the end, really irritated me, so much.
This series was entertaining enough, but I wouldn't read it again. I might recommend it to others, if they are wanting something pretty fluffy.
RH PNR Fated Mates Academy Lost Heir 🌶 1.5/5 (take this with a grain of salt. There was spice for sure, but def not to the level of the stuff I usually read 😂) 📖 4.5/5
I always love the way M writes her guys. Loving, caring, and just the right amount of possessive. This whole series was phenomenal.
Breaker was my favorite, and not just because I have a thing for the scary looking cinnamon roll type. He was so caring towards Bex even though he didn't really have an example to go by.
Gage was just the right amount of bossy and possessive. Best friends to mates is definitely one of my favorite tropes, and she's written this relationship to be exactly that.
And Jagger???? Lord, something about the quiet dominant type really does something for me!
I did enjoy Bex towards the end. She grew into her own and learned a bunch about herself and her heritage.
I'm not always a fan of the FMCs M writes. That's only because, for some reason, in my head, they are always the whiny, whoa is me type. However, I'm pretty sure that's a me problem and not an M problem. It's definitely not a reason for me to take away any stars.
I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for the above listed tropes. These are some of my favorites 🖤🖤🖤
This was a great ending to a great series. If you loved Maya from Reborn, or Dahlia from Shadows of Wildberry Lane, than I sincerely hope that you give Bexley a chance (and given that this is the 4th book, I hope you’ve loved it to the end!) This books starts off right where we ended in Book 3, with an attack by Clanguard at the Silvershade estate. Throughout this series we’ve been able to watch as Bexley discovers who she is and comes to terms with her past and the threat to their future - all while loving cupcakes and sparkly things! Bexley has been a pacifist since the first book and I’m so glad that that didn’t change much throughout the series. She won’t back away from defending others, but she’s not hardened by any means and would rather love than fight. Jagger, Breaker and Gage continue to bond with and show Bex how much they love her. But now they need to confront those who threaten their future - will they be able to find out what happened to Bexley’s parents? Can Linan be defeated? Will the four of them be able to have the future they want so bad? You’ll need to read to find out!
Flash is the fourth and final book in The Storm Dragons Mate Series. It is a why choose, paranormal, fated mates romance with action, intrigue, a war, and long awaited answers.
This is such a terrific finale to this series. I fell in love with this series from the very start and cannot believe it’s over, but I am so very pleased with the way things ended.
There are so many happy and emotional moments in this book. There is also betrayal and plenty of action, as well as many new friendships and surprises.
I loved how the relationships between Bex and the guys grew and developed throughout the series, and this last book wraps it all up in a pretty pink bow. I am so happy to see Bex and her dragons get their HEA.
The writing, flow, and pace of the story are excellent, as are the characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, plot, storyline, and world building. I absolutely loved this book and series and cannot wait for more from this fabulous author.
I'm so in love with this authors books, she has such a good imagination and really brings each character to life.
This series is about Bex and her 3 amazing dragons 🐉. She is a really lovely character and I very much appreciate that she was so sweet but still very strong.
I hate some of the stories out there that have women who are either meek and let the men totally take the lead or woman that are bitches and full of them self who won't let anyone help or advise them.
This series as many others of M.Sinclair is full of feelings and hard topics that do get resolved but we work for it.
This is the last book so you need to go get book one first or it will make no sense. I've done a lot of re-reads of this author because they are so good. So if you like romance, RH, violence, supernatural and happy endings then you will love this author.
Also a lot of her books are a joint universe so if you want to read the whole lot then look her up on Google, Facebook, ect.. and you can find a reading list.
Was the last book entirely necessary? No. Did it drag out a fight that could have been told during the last book? Yes. Did it fill in some gaps that also could have been easily explained in the last book? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Fuck Yes. Lol.
Im not a huge fan of series that seem to be stretched out unnecessarily across 4-5 books when the story was set, so it could have naturally ended earlier.
Although I had this issue with this series, it didn't turn out too horribly. I enjoyed some of the details we got at the end, and I like that we got a little bit of info regarding everyone's kids. That was cute. This author is great at hooking your attention, but something the over explanation of things can definitely dull the interest.
Overall for the series: 3.5/5 ⭐️ Spice level: 🌶🌶.5/5 Im not a pacifist, so Bexley's need to try and placate everyone annoyed me, but that's a personal issue. I liked her mates, though. Her mother and Celine were my favorite characters by far. 🤷🏽♀️
“Flash” is the final book in the Storm Dragon’s Mate series, and it was a great ending. I love the character building of Bexley throughout this entire series, mostly because she stays the same woman the entire time. Everybody just loves her the way she is, as a woman with a big heart and a love for expensive and shiny things. Her powers may grow, and she may get better in understanding and using them, but as a person she’s still the exact same girl we met in book one. I love that!
The storyline in this final book wraps up all the remaining plot points and does so through some very interesting action scenes. I could practically see them happening in front of me, and it was glorious. If you’re not a big fan of epilogues and the things that usually happen there, it’s quite easy to skip them and still get a satisfying HEA.
All in all, this was a great series, and one I would definitely recommend.
Absolutely Loved This Series!!!! The final book in the amazing series starts off where the third book ends. We jump right into the confusion that has plagued Bexley for several years. We get to see sides of each of our main characters that really shows how far they have come since book one. This book is jammed packed with a ton of action and drama throughout the entire book. We receive some shocking moments that really keeps you on the edge of your seat. It seems like Bexley and her mates just can’t catch a break. This book pulled me in right from the very beginning and never let go until the end. Even then I so very much wanted more of these amazing characters. I love the Dark Imaginarium Academy books and these different series are connected in some way. The story is extremely well written and developed. The flow of the story is so very smooth. I loved all these characters and they fit perfectly into their roles. This book/series is an absolute must read and will not disappoint.
I was so excited for this last book of the series. Bexley and her three men are some of my favorites. It’s nice to see a series where the girl is an extreme bada$$ and can just automagically whip everyone. She does grow through the series and come into her own but she is still just a super sweet as ever and her men absolutely adore her. Out of the three of them Gage is still my favorite of them. They are all great with her but I just enjoy their dynamic since he grew up with her and knows her so well. In this last book it was amazing to see her parents and that they were able to save them and defeat the bad guy. They had such an amazing ending and I loved seeing their family grow. I enjoyed reading through their journey and getting to glimpse their side of DIA academy. I’m excited to see how the last two girls in their series wrap up and this combined series ends. Either way though it was an amazing series and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lighter sweeter RH dynamic with friends to lovers, found mates and a sweet naive fmc and of course dragon shifters.
“we loved you before we even knew what love was. And even though we lost you for a period of time, our love only grew.”
Ahhh mixed emotions right now! So happy for the happy ever after but so sad that it’s over! The war carries on between Bexley the guys and their families and also those who stand on their side vs Linan and his wolves. He’s determined to get Bexley to mate her with his son. But the guys are stronger than ever and will do anything for Bexley. It was so nice to see Bexley get a relationship with her parents. And also her and the guys relationship getting stronger which I didn’t think was possible! We learn Linan’s secret as to how he is so strong and his actual weakness. The epilogues were fantastic too!
Overall an amazing finish to an amazing series! With epic characters!
I love Bexley so much because M has such a way with her characters that you genuinely feel connected to them and they feel real. This book really solidifies the relationship in the harem, the four of them coming together to be a unit. As well, Bex comes into her power and makes decisions and shows off her fierce, protective side that I was so desperate to see.
Also, those epilogues? M fed us. This book was everything I wanted for the conclusion to this series. If you're looking for:
Dragon shifters Reverse Harem PNR FMC who loses her memory Final battle
This book is for you! And while you're here, give M's other series a read because they're just as amazing and addictive!
Thank you to M and her team for an early copy of this book!
