Gypsy Brothers #2

Six Brothers

Rate this book
I have lied.

I have cheated.

I have given my body and my life to the man who destroyed my family and left me for dead.

I have killed, I have sinned, and worst of all, I have enjoyed the misery of others.

I have licked the salty tears of a father mourning his firstborn son, and nothing has ever tasted so sweet.

I have died, and I have been resurrected, a phoenix from the ashes.

I know I’m going to hell. I’ll burn in the fiery pits alongside Dornan and his sons for the things I’ve done, and for the things I’m about to do.

But I don’t care. It will be worth every lick of the devils flames on my guilty flesh to destroy Dornan Ross.

One down, six to go.

★★★★ ½! Six Brothers, part 2 of 7. The continued tale of revenge, sex, drugs, greed & a long-lost love!

“I’m growing impatient. I have six men left to kill, and I’ve already been here for almost a month.”

Books in the Gypsy Brothers Series should be read in order:
Part 1: Seven Sons
Part 2: Six Brothers
Part 3: Five Miles
Part 4: Four Score
Part 5: Three Years
Part 6: Two Roads
Part 7: One Love

In Seven Sons, part 1 Juliette Portland, Julz aka Sammi (Samantha Peyton) set out to revenge the man and his sons, who brutally raped and nearly beat her to death when she was only fifteen.

With a new identity and looks Julz aka Sammi returned to Venice Beach headquarters of the Gypsy Brother’s Motorcycle Club. The story went on to follow as carried out step one in her plan while searching for the truth.

Six Brothers, part 2 is Julz’ continued quest for revenge and truth. But spending time with her high school sweetheart, first love and 7th brother, Jason Ross stirs up emotions and doubt.

photo gb1 he BS by sb_zpsnbfhg08w.gif

Eight words to describe Juliette Portland, Julz aka Sammi (Samantha Peyton): Determined, broken, reflective, observant, manipulative, focused, calculated and obsessive.

 photo gb1 H BS by sb_zpsizy9ofvc.gif

More of oh so sweet Jason Ross but nothing in the bedroom as Julz is sleeping with someone else as part of her plan (hence the no sex rating).

Eight words to describe Jason: Private, lonely, quite, lost, focused, loyal, analytical and nurturing.

“Everyone I love, dies. So I live alone, and I keep to myself, mostly.”

Six Brothers is the continued gruesome tale of revenge, greed, murder, drugs, crime, consensual and non-consensual sex, broken promises and broken spirits. It ends in another cliffy but no worries, just skip to part 3, Five Miles for the continuation of their story.

Dark, mysterious and addictive plot! Spellbinding story-telling! Hints of an epic love!!

“They will not break me.”

Spoilers

In this second part of Julz/Sammi's revenge plot she has now killed one Ross and has 6 more to go. She killed the oldest brother Chad in book one and this one picks up with the funeral. Chad was a good one to die first as he was super evil. although I would have liked him to suffer more Just sayin'! I love how much Sammi enjoyed Dornan's tears and pain.

Dornan was a disgusting sick fuck and 6 of his pos sons were as well. Lili St. Germain did a great job of writing evil, sick men that will have you cheering for their deaths. Than there was Jason. I can't tell you how much I loved Jase. My heart broke for all the shit he has had to live through. I really hope Jase finds out that Sammi is Julz and helps in the revenge. He deserves to get some payback as well for all the shit his father and brothers have done to him. Again I hope Sammi adds her mom to the list of people she needs to fuck up, as that bitch needs to get her too. The moments in this book with Sammi and Jase were nice and I could feel the connect between them. The moment with Dornan and Sammi were equal part creepy, dark and a wrong kind of sexy. Dornan is a twisted bastard that has no problem hurting women. I truly can't wait to see what she does to Dornan. Maxi gets his in this book again I would have liked this death to be more painful. I am on to the next book as I need to know what is going to happen next!

4.5 'TOTAL BADASS' STARS

description

Well I was wrong. Just when I thought Sammi couldn’t turn into a bigger tart, the author manages to convince me of her plan for vengeance and the believability of events. You see, I really struggled with Seven Sons. I didn’t like the way Sammi immersed herself into the club nor did I approve of her vengeance plan with revenge sex...to me that will always be an ick factor but it’s that same reason that makes this second installment so compelling. Not only did I understand and come to accept Sammi’s plan, but I am now convinced and determined to finish out the series!

description

So Six Brothers picks up right after the ending of book 1, where everyone is getting ready for Chad’s burial. Sammi is secretly gleeful and triumphant that she’s now eliminated Dornan’s eldest and future Prez of the club and sets her sights on the third son Maxi after he pissed on Juliette’s (changed her name from that to Sammi) headstone. Between rounds of hardcore sex with Dornan, heartfelt and touching moments with Jase, and a nostalgic scene with Elliot, Sammi executes her plans flawlessly.

I was already a fan of the author’s writing style, but after finishing this installment, I’m taken with how well the plot is structured and the smooth transitions for the sequence of events that makes the book believable. The one thing I didn't really care for is her relationship with Jase. I don't know if it's because I barely remember their connection in book 1 or if it's the thought that he's Dornan's son that's the biggest turnoff, but for whatever reason, I'm not enamored of their relationship. I would much rather prefer Elliot and Sammi back together but that is highly unlikely so I will just sit on my pedestal and wait for the next book to come out.

As for you author....

“It’s true what they say—keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Only, they forgot to add: Don’t keep your enemies so close that they can strike without warning.”

Juliette's revenge is in a good path... She had already killed Dornan's firstborn son and this was only the beginning...

In my poor opinion, i needed Chad to suffer more, but hey, there's more with the same blood out there!!!
But he was the worst after his father and he deserved more...

"Some people would call me a whore. A girl who sold her soul to the devil...
I didn’t have to sell Dornan Ross my soul. He already owned it. And once I’ve killed him, maybe I can get it back."

Dornan is devastated from his son's death and Juliette is there to comfort him and to witness from first hand his deep sorrow and to take satisfaction by it...

But Dornan is becoming worst and worst, a sick fucker and he wants to mark Sammi as his... and in order to do so, he is doing awful and unpredictable things...

"His sorrow, his devastation…it’s better than if I had tied him up and made him bleed for me.
Bleeding tears instead of blood, but it is all the same in the end. I will take every tear he has, every son, and then I will start letting blood."

Julz is keeping the parade in order to succeed in her revenge, but sometimes she is suffocating for being so near to the enemy...
Her only ray of hope is Jase!!! The man that she never stop loving...

And they are coming closer and closer, but this is a very dangerous things to do... and it had to stop!!!
Will she be able to keep her distance from him???
Will she have the guts to make her second murder???

"I’m not doing this because I’m strong. I’m doing this because I’m scared of the monster in my head. The monster in my bed…The monster who destroyed me. I’m doing this because I just want to be able to sleep at night without seeing his face.
That’s not strength. That’s desperation."

"I might have a new face but I still have the same heart. He might have lost me once but I’m still his, and he is still mine."

And yep, this series is getting better and better...
I just can't stop reading!!!

I'm almost obsessed and i want more and more and more....
I'm so curious and eager from what will happen next....

"I'm aching inside, the utter desolation of my vengeful quest almost too much to bear.

Sick, twisted, unfathomable, indescribable, shocking, unbelievable, jaw dropping brilliance.

I am taken to another world, transported to a place that is full of revenge, anger, deception and a little bit of redemption. I am blown away and compelled to keep going. There are times that I felt sick and was left shaking my head. I had feels that I've never had for a book, I went from being disgusted, to laughing, to gasping and yelling NO FUCKING WAY and finally left with WHAT? WAIT on gosh damn minute. This is the END? There has to be a mistake, she has to have sent me the wrong version. This can't be it. THIS JUST CAN'T BE IT!!!!!!

Can I change my name? Do you think the husband would be ok with being married to St. Germains #1 bitch? I will have to run this shit by him and see what he has to say.

Wow, I am a sick fuck. I thoroughly enjoyed that shit. I may or may not have read this book 4 times. Yes, you read that shit correctly. 4 fucking times and each time I feel deeper and deeper down the fucking rabbit hole.

I am high on the new recreational drug. Its called the Gypsy Brothers. Yup, this shit is hardcore. Once you take your first hit, there is no going back.  Will you make it out alive? Will it consume you and maybe, just maybe end up killing you? IT'S FUCKING A LEGIT Possibility.

Damn, the potty mouth is back. Thanks a lot Lili, I was doing so good with my fbombs, but now after reading your books the sick and twisted has re emerged.

What does one say about a book that is so brilliantly written and so amazingly crazy? It's hard shit I tell you.

I fucking loved the ending of Seven Sons. It rocked me to the core. Sammi had done it. She ended one of Dornan's sons lives. You would think this would mess her up, she fucking killed a man, she is a murder. But nope the girl is till head strong and on the right course. She isn't turning back. She has 6 others to take down.

I love Sammi. She can take so much shit from Dornan, and just dust it off like nothing. She plays the part so well, I think sometimes she believes she is really Sammi. I mean she justifies what he does, she doesn't ever think

"Well that shit sucked big ass monkey balls. I think I'll pull up my big girl thong, pack my hooker heels and get the hell out of dodge"

She just keeps going back for more. The only thing that keeps her in check is Jase.

She can't seem to walk away from him. He is always there. He seems to be able to see inside her and she is starting to question if he can see threw the lies. But what happens if he finds out. What will he do?

I am in awe of the shit that Lili can write. She takes me to a place that I would never go. She can make me feel the pain Sammi is feeling and the revenge that flows threw her veins. It's so real that my blood pumps so fast in my veins and my heart beats so fast and I get so excited, I have to step away and breath.

We learn so much shit with this book. A ton of my questions have been answered and we are let in on some major shit. Dornan is sicker and way more twisted than I thought.

Of course there is some Elliot in the book. Sammi wouldn't be so fucking messed up and confused if there wasn't a little bit of Elliot in there. I am so not sure how I see this ending with him. I am as confused a Sammi. But Elliot is way to good and no fucked up for Sammi. But we just have to wait and see.

Again, I am left saying FUCK YOU LILI. Write the fuck faster will you. I might also be telling her thank you and I left the money on the dresser.

The Gypsy Brothers story continues with Six Brothers.

The title itself is a clue to Juliette’s achievement. She's experienced the euphoric feeling of Dornan's grief but she still has a long way to go before she’s satisfied, before the score's settled.

Retribution is not an option it’s essential to her healing.

Her appearance is the most helpful tool for what she feels compelled to do in the name of revenge..... But what happens if her appearance is no longer helpful? I felt anxious that her lies would be discovered.

We learn a little about Mariana in this second part. The author paints us a beautiful picture of her and her relationship with Jase, the youngest of the sons. We discover whom she is to Dornan and what she did but…. Oh my…. we discover exactly what happened…. The consequences…. After reading everything, including Cartel, this hurts my heart even more. It’s devastating and desperate. Dornan Ross is not a man to upset.

Love is explored.... You can’t love a man, even a good man, when your heart belongs to someone else. THERE'S THE ODD GLIMMER OF LIGHT in this dark and gritty story and that glimmer gives the reader a ray of hope, offers an extra layer of light and shade, increases the angst level and allows the story to evolve with interest and appeal.

Lili St. Germain equally doesn't allow me to forget the evilness of the bad guy, she doesn't change him to suit our notion of what we expect. It’s in no way sentimental. It’s brutal, vile on the mind, disturbing and repulsive.

I don't remember reading anything as abhorrently fucked up since the Dark Duet series. At this point it hasn't quite equalled the darkest depths yet but this is only book two and its well on its way. The Gypsy Brothers series as it progressed turned into a full on AMAZING 5 STAR read for me, I highly recommend joining the dark side and experiencing the revenge of Juliette.

ONE DOWN, SIX MORE TO GO

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions…

The favorite son is gone and Sammi/ Juliette needs to decide who is next to go.
After the funeral, she freaks out when she sees one of the rest of the brothers pissing on the crave that she is supposedly buried inside.

Hint: It is not clever pissing on someone’s grave, when that someone is watching. You may have just helped her decide what you future brings or if you will have a future at all.

Funeral’s aftermath bring joy and comfort to Sammi. The victory tastes sweet and she wants to soak up every last bit of pain and hurt.

I know that some sensitive readers may feel sorry for the mourning father. He is crying and he is devastated, while determined Sammi offers him a “sorrow fuck”.
Well, before the second book finishes, everyone (especially Sammi) will understand and maybe remember what a sadistic monster through and through Dornan is.

The WTF / ARE YOU SERIOUS moment is the one Dornan confesses that he wants to keep Sammi and maybe breeding her will help (Yes he actually wants to become a daddy again!).

Okay then… Keep Calm and Neeext!

3.5 Twisted stars

The second part of the Gypsy Brother series found me debating on how much I liked it indeed. I did like it. BUT there were a couple of parts that had me thoughtful. And not just the twisted, bloody-gore parts. I guess it's expected in an MC genre to be like that and apparently it's not for everyone.

Julz is on track about her revenge and keeps working on her facade, trying to find ways to slowly -very slowly perhaps- take them out one by one. I have to admit that even though I do enjoy the plot and the writing that keeps me guessing, still I think that for someone doing so much to avenge this family, doesn't make smart moves and hasn't really thought about her plans.

I also enjoy how we saw a darker side of Dornan -not that it wasn't already apparent, but in this one he gave me the chills. He seems like an unpredictable character, making me hold my breath every time he's on the picture and I don't know what's gonna happen next.

"She was my girl. She was my everything."

I honestly want to be able and continue this journey, but as a person I don't know how much I can stand and tolerate a couple of things, so I may not be able to complete the series. *sigh*

I'm not going to quit just yet though. I will keep reading and HOPEFULLY I will reach at the end of this journey. If you can stand twisted violence, go ahead and give this a try. :)

Sorrow. Devastation. Loss.

Oh man, this is just getting better and better...Now that Sammi has her first kill behind her, she tries to secretly enjoy the feeling of vengeance, knowing that she made Dornan Ross hurt, taking away his first born son and VP. Trying to not draw attention to herself and her victory, she has to please and console him they only way she knows how, with her body.
I’m not doing this because I’m strong. I’m doing this because I’m scared of the monster in my head. The monster in my bed…The monster who destroyed me. I’m doing this because I just want to be able to sleep at night without seeing his face.

That’s not strength. That’s desperation.

It’s been a few weeks and she has set her sights on her next victim, the asshole all but said “Pick Me”, now she just has to prepare. Jase continues to be the light in Sammi's darkest days and when this is all over, he'll leave her just like everyone else. She can’t risk him knowing, but he is making it hard for her to stay away especially when he mourns the piece of her that died. Pushing him away and losing herself in Dornan, who continues to prove his dominance and ownership over her; her pleasure and her pain.
I’ll give my blood for him, and one day soon, he’ll give his blood for me.

Six Brothers was another amazing tale of all things fucked up, as it is written, no matter how wrong everything is there is a sense of hope, one that you have to cling too to make it out unscathed by devil. Because that is what Dornan is, he is the devil in disguise, and he choose to make Sammi's life a living hell. You can't help but feel just as invested as she is to finding her freedom. Five more brothers to go and I can’t wait to see whose next…

Well well well, Lilli St. Germain, you evil genius you. Just when I began to question whether or not I'm going to like what happens in book two, you hit me over the head with the two by four of your dark mind brilliance. Touche, madam. Touche. I am utterly hooked, line and sinker on this series and cannot wait to see what you have in store for the next installments.

If you questioned the sanity of Sammi's plan from the previous book, rest assured because it is all coming together more and more with each book. All the questions you may have had in Seven Sons get addressed in this one.

Six Brothers starts off immediately where Seven Sons left off; with the blowback from Chad's murder. So what can I tell you about this book without giving anything away?

Sammi is more kick-ass then ever. I gained a deeper understanding for the whys of what she is doing.

Dornan is even an ever crazier, sick and fucked up asshole. But he is also that much closer to being caught up in Sammi's web of deceit.
I see through his control, into the blackness of his very soul. I see the scars I have left on his cold, dead heart, on the tiny part that has the capacity to care for his own offspring. A primal, human instinct that lives inside of him despite his hatred, despite his abject twistedness.

There is much more that gets revealed about the past and what happened to cause the devastating ripple effect of murder and pain 6 years ago.

Sammi and Jace will pull at your heart string even more

Be prepared to finish this book in one sitting and be left begging for more. Six Brothers grips you by your throat from the first chapter and will keep you at the edge of your seat until the last page.

Now if only I didn't have to wait until March 30 for book 3.

I’m not sure I read the same book as everyone else. I had my reservations from the previous book, but went into Six Brothers with an open mind.

It wasn’t a hit for me.

I do not understand this girl.

My rant

Maybe that is why everyone loved it. They found those parts dark, twisted and dirty. I think I was just turned off and put off.

I will still move on to the next book. I’m too curious.

Wowza!! The stakes and risks keep on rising and rising!!

With ONE brother down, SIX f*ckers still remain...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

But with a tangle of lies, deception, and misery making their way into the fold... Will she be able to carry out her plan without being found out or killed?

And will Jase, the love of her life, ever discover her true identity?

Read and you will find out!

SO, my verdict: A DEFINITE MUST READ for those of you who loved Seven Sons! I did have my doubts at first as to how Juliette would play things out after the turn of events from book one but she actually surprised me and did quite well. It's just how does she stomach her love for Jase while still being with Dornan? Especially after she murdered Chad? It would make my stomach churn!

I can't go into further detail about the plot since it is roughly only 100 pages and I would be a spoiler troll so I HIGHLY SUGGEST you pick yourself up a copy when it is released!!

A great sensual, gritty, and violent read bent on vengeance and redemption!!

And yes, the story goes on exactly from where it was left after the end of the first book "Seven Sons". What can I say about this book without giving any spoilers? It's fantastic! The plot goes on moving fast and there are certain surprises and twists. The story is full of action and emotions. I totally love the way Ms. St. Germain writes. The writing is intense, direct without any unnecessary details. I even love the flashbacks of Julz. They just give enough information to understand what happened without being boring. It helps a lot that the story is said by Julz's POV.

Julz is just amazing! Again! After the end of book one, she secretly enjoys her victory. I am not a person that would take a revenge on anyone but I totally understand Julz and her actions. I totally understand her way of thinking. She doesn't have another option if she wants, someday, to go on with her life.

Dornan is one of the male characters. He is the villain in this book. He is the one that Julz wants to take down. There is Elliot, who was her savior in her time of need. And last but not least, Jase, her true love and youngest son of Dornan. I won't give you anymore details as I still haven't decided who the hero is.

The end of the book left me speechless! I loved it and I wanted more of it! I was turning the pages looking for more! So, I just have to start the next one right away!

I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves a dark story!

I can't believe what a complete and utter douche bag Dornan Ross is. Ughhhh the man alone should be strangle with his leathers and chaps. Then dragged through the compound, as he's free wheeling his dick in the breeze. I'd love to see Dornan's legs firmly tied to the chrome mufflers of his bike, with Jase driving shotgun. If I sound slightly blood thirsty, its because Juliette deserves her vengeance, gotta give the devil her dues.

This is the second installment to the Gypsy Brothers series. Lili St. Germain has written a series of short stories (about 100 pages each)that are getting better as they go along. I will admit that I am totally hooked on this series, and even though it is dark and gruesome; I am loving every minute of it! What that says about me..I don't really want to know; but I am highly entertained!

In "Six Brothers" Julz (aka..Sammie) continues her plan for revenge. One brother down, and the next one needs to go. I am amazed that she is able to go through with her plan to kill these evil brothers. What they did to her when she was 15, was beyond gruesome and no doubt they should pay. In the world of the MC's it is "an eye for an eye", and Julz is moving right along to do just that. I am wondering though, when all is said and done, will she be able to live with herself and what she has done. Of course the one twist to is that she is in love with the youngest brother; who she loved six years ago as well. Will Jase ever find out who Julz really is, and if he does what will he think about her killing his family? These are the burning questions in my mind as I read along my merry way! There is also another player in all of this twisted story; and that is Elliot who was the guy that saved Julz after the gang rape years ago. He is now a tattoo artist, and he has had some contact with Julz and is very aware of what she is doing. I am nervous somewhere along the way he will be found out by Dornan the father and club President. This would be a catastrophe as Dornan is a major sick and twisted man. I kid you not, this guy is evil to his core; and I will go as far as saying he is physco with a capital P!!!

So there you have it. It is all like one big gory soap opera! If you are the type of reader that does not mind dark reads, then this is a series I highly recommend. I can't say whether or not there will be a HEA..I sure as heck hope so..but if it happens...I will be surprised! There are just so many things that can go wrong, and I think that is adding to my enjoyment as well. As I read, I am sitting on the edge of my chair wondering what will be next. I love the anticipation and wonder..it is what is keeping this story front and center in my mind! I just hope that it won't be long before all of the rest of the series gets published!! Luckily, I am able to move on to the third installment right away! So please Ms. St. Germain; make sure to put a rush on the rest of the series!!! You have a fan who is loving every minute of it, and I am dying to see the outcome of this wonderful series!

Sweet... Baby... Jesus... I AM HOOKED ON THE GYPSY BROTHERS!!!

WARNING: IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK 1, THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! DO NOT KEEP READING!

Six Brothers picks up right after the ending of Seven Sons. Chad is dead and Dornan is hurting and Sammi is lapping up his torment and sadness, she is getting off on seeing him hurting, it's like a drug to see the emotions pass his face and right now Sammi is in heaven watching him in pain.

"I chose him because I knew, if anything could drive that man to tears, it was losing his oldest son and VP."

Julz knows what she has to do is going to take time, but she is eager to move it a long faster, but in the wake of Chads funeral, Sammi finds out just how much more of a cruel asshole Dornan can be.

'"You look so much like her," he says his voice filled with wonder.

"How?"

I know exactly who he is talking about, but I shouldn't. Sammie shouldn't.'

Sammi spends more time with Jase and finds out more about his life, about how unhappy he is, how much he is struggling in his life. Both Sammi and Jase can feel the chemistry sizzle between them. Jase keeps telling her to leave, run and never come back but Sammi doesn't know how to make him understand she can't.

An opportunity arises for Sammi to take out another brother and I swear reading it I felt like I could see the chestier smile that would appear on her face when she thought about this, it was a twisted, genius plan!

"Snap. All at once he realizes exactly who I am and runs out of air."

Yes there is a cliffhanger and yes it KILLED ME!!!! I need book 3 YESTERDAY!!!! Reading each book with a cliffy is going to destroy my sanity but god damn I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. FOR. EVERY. SINGLE. BOOK.!

In this book we learn a lot more of why Julz and her father were targeted.

Jase speaks about Julz to Sammi and it breaks my heart the poor guy, Jase is an enigma in his world so different and yet so strong to still be hanging on after everything he has lost.

Every page of book 1 & 2 blew my mind and I can't wait to see what Sammi does in the next books!

"I'm aching inside, the utter desolation of my vengeful quest almost too much to bear.

But I will bear it.

Because I refuse to buckle.

They will not break me.

I'm a fighter, after all."

I didn't think it was going to be a good idea for me to continue this series, but I just couldn't stop without seeing if the author was going to do something spectacular.

Which did *NOT* end up happening for me.

Pretty much everything I had an issue with in the first part (my review) is still here in this one. Only exponentially worse.

**!!SPOILER AND TRIGGER WARNING!!**

We start out with the funeral of the brother she killed in the last book. And we gets lots of flashbacks, except they feel tacked on. One of them explicitly contradicts the information we were given in the first part of the story. I hate when books don't maintain their integrity.

Julz/Sammi - I had some respect for her in the first book. She's a sociopath, no doubt about it, but she's committed. And I understood her goals. I even agreed with her reasoning about trying to see them to fruition. I got it. But she's so far gone that I can't root for her. She has no regard for innocent lives. At all. And I can't get behind a character like that. Not to mention, she's stupid. And Jase is stupid, too, so maybe they deserve each other.

Elliott - the guy that saved Julz in the first place - a cop (at the time), now a tattoo artist (nice bridge there), is just a few years older than Julz. Eventually they had a relationship. When she kept trying to kill herself and was destroying him piece by piece, he left. Then she has the nerve to be pissed at him for not wanting to be destroyed by her sociopathic ways. She doesn't care about him, except as a friend, and she starts to act wounded that he left. Fuck you, Sammi. Fuck you.

Jase - a genuinely nice guy, except for the illegal (very bad) shit that he doesn't even bat an eyelash at anymore. He's got an instant attraction to Sammi/Julz, but hates her (for what she is to his father) at the same time. Ugh. I can't take the drama.

Then there's the torture sex with her rapist that Sammi takes part in. In one scene - serious spoiler here:

Then we get to some more drama between Jase and Sammi/Julz.

And finally some more of her revenge...Again - serious spoiler:

And there ends this part. I think I'll read about the rest through Kat's reviews.

4.5 Holy -sh!t Stars

WOW….just give me a minute…. What a book!!!

Ok, I’m back. This was one hell of a ride; Six Brothers was just like Seven Sons: fast paced, thrilling, cruel and plain awesome! I was clued to my kindle.

In book 2, Sammi is even more of a badass –her thoughts are screaming revenge and nothing AND no one will bring her off her path. She’s determined, precise, strong, and one cluster-f#ck in the head. Since her last ‘kill’ a month has passed and she’s itching for another. She wants to eliminate them all; letting them feel how it feels to be helpless, weak and to beg for mercy- ha, but mercy is not on Sammi’s agenda. She’s lethal and endures so much, especially as being Dornan’s lil bed-bunny, that she plans the perfect second kill!

Oh Dornan, you’re on my very top shi!tlist…what you did to her, no words, I think I’d have shoot you myself. His mind is twisted, and he’s even more unpredictable so that Sammi really has to be careful around him. It’s an understatement that I hate him, and I bow my head to Sammi because she’s one tough chick, awesome actress, and hot lay –playing the perfect role. While enduring all his sickness, she just has one thought:

“I will take every tear he has, every son, and then I will start letting blood.” …same as he let her blood, this sick bastard.

But this story wouldn’t be the same if there was no Jase, would it? These two –Sammi and Jase- were messing with their minds. Sammi feels more and more drawn to him and he too, is confused. “What are you doing to me?”he breathes, his eyes never leaving mine. “I’m loving you,…”

Sigh… it’s literally tearing her up, because Sammi is sick of lying to the only man she had ever loved…still loved. But she knows, she can’t tell Jase the truth. She fighting a battle with herself, not knowing what to think, what to do when being around him.

“He’s a lover, not a fighter, and he doesn’t have it in him to kill them all.” …she might be right, but that’s uncertain.

But Lili’s book wouldn’t be the same if one scumbag wouldn’t fall…and of course Sammi succeeded taking down one more brother and damn, she did it in a very tricky BUT risky way!

“I’m the angel of death tonight, after all.” …happy, unforgettable Birthday sucker!!

Again, Lili took me with Six Brothers to a dark place, in a girls mind that seeks nothing more than revenge; sweet, lethal and brutal revenge. She created with 2nd installment another great story that starts where book 1 left off. She answered the questions I had after finishing Seven Sons, and again, the way she planned her series, she has made me a serious hooker on it. Bit by bit she adds more to the story and it doesn’t disappoint – again, it’s like watching my favorite tv show, SOA.

I’m very much looking forward to read book 3 !!

Just when I think I'm gonna stop, I just can't walk away from these crazy f&cks.. I NEED to know how it's all going to end.

So yes, I will be finishing this serial.

Dornan has truly hurt my feelings. As if that were even possible after book 1, but he did. I feel so... Misused. & betrayed. But what did I expect? It's my own fault. It's like asking the snake "Why did you bite me?" Yet I still care.

Sammi? OMG! this chick is out of her mind. Insane! I truly feel for her. I'm cheering for her, but I hate what she's enduring just to reach her goal. Talk about determination. I have mad respect for this chick.

Jase, I love him, but I'm trying not to. I really feel sorry for him.

This story/serial is just beyond twisted. Beyond dark. I can't stress this enough.

***PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION*** if you choose to play in this jacked up playground.

This is a serial, so you will have to read each book in order.
