“When you love something, set it free. If it returns, it will be yours forever.” Azori Holston didn’t have this saying in mind when she let go of the love of her life, but there may be some truth to it. Eight years is a long time, but a chance encounter brings them back into each other’s lives. Azori realizes that no matter how hard she tries to forget the past, it still holds a grip on her. Zidane James never expected to cross paths with his college sweetheart again, but when it happens, it feels like a punch to the gut. With the past and present colliding, he has no choice but to confront his feelings. As old memories come flooding back, they both find themselves reminiscing about the good times and exploring the “what ifs.” The holiday season has a way of bringing people closer, and Zidane is determined to do whatever it takes to have Azori by his side for Christmas.
I had the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this story.
Azori walked away from the love of her life to follow her career dreams. Never did she imagine her choices would put her front and center with the man she left behind all those years ago. A tragic accident brought the two former lovers back into each others lives, but their Love was undeniable. Zidane was determined to get his woman back and I loved the fact that he applied pressure to make it happen. Christmas is all about miracles and the only wish Zidane has is to get his heart back.
I really enjoyed this it was short and sweet. Zidane was bae. I loved how he put Monica in her place. Azeri was getting on my nerves a little bit but I loved that she went back for her man. I love a good second chance romance with a HEA 😍
I love the connection in this story, Christmas time brings so many miracles and as this story was being read, I could feel the miracle of love all over this family.
This book was really good. I love the bond between Azori and Zidane it was like they definitely was made for each other. I hope we can get update on them.
I loved it. Reconnection in the craziest way but reconnected indeed. This story had me on edge in the beginning then cozied me up in the end. Gave me all the feels. I truly enjoyed it.
