Fight the dark. Don't lose your soul..

As Shadow Heart's coalition grows, the World System stirs from within its remaining cities and survivors from across the globe emerge to join the struggle.

But not everyone who opposes Napoleon Alexander has the best intentions. Unexpected friends from across the sea warn that someone else is seeking the Rose Project weapon. Someone whose plan to save the world is to first burn it all down.

Friends become foes. Rivals become allies. And for Grace Sawyer, what she believed to be the most miraculous turn of her life may be the very thing that destroys her.

Before the world can walk into the light, someone must rise up to lead them against the dark. And when it comes to Napoleon Alexander, the ideals of the past might no longer be enough to deliver what Grace desires

To win.

Immensely compelling, deftly written, and packed with major revelations and unexpected twists, this installment in the Shadow saga is Lyon’s best yet! Political intrigue, military strategy, moral ambiguity, and complex character relationships unfold within a bleak apocalyptic landscape featuring advanced artificial intelligence. The action-driven, emotionally charged final chapters left me in terrible suspense for the conclusion!
