Sometimes when everything's lost, it's just the beginning.
Tossed by a storm, torn by grief, and with his world turned upside down, Morgan clings to the one woman he knows can bring some peace into the chaos that his life has become--Lara.
It's not easy to love a complicated man. It's even harder when he builds a maze around his heart.
She's looking for answers but life just keeps throwing more questions at them both. There's a dead sister who is now alive, ashes in the ocean and a tiny grave on a lonely beach.
Lara and Morgan have learned that sorrow often follows joy and love isn't always enough to keep it in the shadows.
This is a full length (50,000 words) novel. It is meant to be read following Hooked (Part 1) and Wrecked (Part 3). *This is adult contemporary romance with scenes and language intended for mature readers.*
Now that they have survived and returned to the states what more can possibly happen with this couple. Lara and her "inquisitive nature" (to put it nicely) may have a big part to play in the direction their lives go. She is one of those characters that really draw a variety of emotions from you because she is all over the universe in her actions and thought process. That's great because that means the author is doing a fantastic job. The you look at Morgan and he isn't much better. These two deserve each other and compliment each other very well. What one lacks the other supplies, functionally dysfunctional??!
My only complaint, because this author can truly write and I can't believe I continued through this loving it like I did when I would have dropped these two and their crazy from my life in a flash, this didn't have to be 3 books. I believe this could be a 5 star read that is loved and appreciated for what it is if it weren't divided up.
Where does Rescued rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far? I find it really hard to rank any book no matter if I have read or listened to it. If the story is bad it just goes in the bad pile there isn't really any differentiating for me. If a story is good it means I like it and I'll probable read/listen to it again.
What did you like best about this story? I loved it all there wasn't anything to really not like because I wasn't the one who wrote the story so I didn't know how it was supposed to be
Which scene was your favorite? I'm not really sure because it was amazing overall there wasn't anything that just stuck with me.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you? So much of the book moved me because it was so well written and because of the amazing performance.
Any additional comments? Another great installment into an adorable series. Kai and Wen's performance was on point as always. The story was just as sweet and wonderful as I've come to expect from the previous 2 books. I loved traveling into the lives of Lara and Morgan for awhile. They made an oddly adorable couple even with all their ups and downs. I know that this is the last book in the series, but I do wish that there would be a fourth or maybe another series about their next steps in life. There may be but I don't know about them at this time lol.
This book is as good as the other two in the series if not better. The ship is wrecked and now Morgan has no place to call home. However he does have his sister but he is not to have contact with her for three years. Lara can't abide by that and she finds her. Once again they get in a disagreement about how to handle things. Morgan finds out that his fathers solicitor is trying to screw him over and all bets are off. Will Morgan and Lara have a future? Hmmm time will tell....
I have to say that I loved the whole series. I really appreciate the fact that all the books were available and I didn't have to wait years for the next one. Ok, they fell in love pretty quickly but just consider if kinda like love at first sight. I mean it happens sometimes. just enough action along with romance. Raw romance I might add. Not at all for the shy at heart.
I love how the Author ended this as you are left with enough information to conclude how Morgan, Lara, and Clari will end up. I personally like to think Morgan will eventually forgive his parents and move on to become a great Dad to the 4 or 5 children with other assorted things that go with, like puppies, and he and Lara will find a way to make it all work out.
Rescued by K.C. Falls was a great book. This was a great conclusion to the series. I love when Lara and Morgan are together and happy. Life has not been easier for either Lara or Morgan. Unfortunately life is not finished throwing crap their way. I'd love to read more of their story and more by the author. I recommend this series to everyone.
the book was written in a way that you had a lot of fun trying to figure out who was who. I grannysmith91802@yahoo.com will read any thing that you have written.
What a great ending...just would like to see the story go another book....now that Clarissa is back! And his best friend just sorta left the story...I'd like to see Morgan and Lara in the future...his character has some unfinished business for sure!
