In Book One of the series, we meet two sisters, Sabrina and Daphne, who have been sent to live with their mysterious grandmother, Relda Grimm. From their first day in Ferryport Landing, the sisters begin to unravel a mystery that reveals a family secret. Sabrina and Daphne learn they are descendants of the Brothers Grimm, whose famous book of fairy tales is actually a history book. Snow White, the Three Little Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf-they're all alive and now neighbors of Granny Relda in this community of Everafters, as magical folks like to be called. But life is not a fairy tale in Ferryport Landing. Someone has set a giant loose on the town, and it's up to the sisters Grimm to stop the giant and find the Everafter behind its murderous rampage. Is it Mayor Charming, formerly Prince Charming, who may have plans to get his kingdom back? Or Jack, the erstwhile giant killer, now working at the Big & Tall store?

The books and story were amazing. :D I loved the twist on the classic fairy tales that we have heard. The characters Daphene and Sabrina were amazing. A comical sister duo. The ending of the series just made me happy, how true love, happiness, and every positive thing helped them stop the mirror! I really recommend this book who loves fiction, fantasy, and mystery. The pictures in the books were cute too!

A refreshing and quirky way of retelling the classic fairy tale stories. Though at some points the plot is a little repetitive, the characters are colorful and interesting and they carry the story off well. The illustrations are also one of my most favourite parts of reading this series. Though I always had an issue with Sabrina, she always seems so angry! But that's just my personal qualm🤷
L0VE IT! Love the entire series! No joke, I read the series years ago but is still holding the record of FAVORITE BOOK! I love love LOVE PUCK! He should write a book!
This series is a must read. Every book is a new magical adventure about two sisters who are on a quest to find their parents who have mysteriously disappeared. Sabrina and Daphne were sent to live with their seemingly crazy old grandmother and end up getting more then they bargained for. There are werewolves, fairies, monsters and wizards, and a new adventure waiting at every turn. If you are someone who likes comedy, adventure, mystery, and a little bit of romance, you should give this series a try. It is a good series for people in 4th through 9th grade, depending on what you like.
Saw these while shopping with my kids for other books. Sounded interesting so I bought the first one....read one after the other and thoroughly enjoyed them. Great twist on fairy tales. I read them before my kids did, lol, and then suggested they give it a go - they loved the series as well. Kid power! Girl power! All around fun.
I read this series with my kids, we really enjoyed each mystery and adventure with Sabrina & Daphne. We loved that the charters in the book were from other fairy tales we love!
I initially read the first book as a kid, and I couldn’t get my hands on the rest of the series. I waited, it sat in my mind for what felt like forever. So, as soon as I was working and had my own money, I got the rest of the books. I know they’re “children’s books” but I don’t care. I love them. This is one of my favorite series EVER. I’m currently working on getting all of them in a specific cover style to collect so that one day my kids can read them. I love the take on the fairy tales in these books, and they’re so adventure-filled and just FUN. I love love love this series.
I loved the series, didn't unfortunately read the last book due to lack of availability, but I had my sister (who already read it) fill me in. The series in itself was great, with a lovely idea. However Sabrina and Daphne frustrated me at times, mostly because at the time I was EXACTLY like Sabrina, only I loved the magic. Obviously you can see, then, how Daphne infuriated me occasionally. However, everything ended up quite splendidly and I am SO HAPPY with it. PUCKABRINA FOREVER Y'ALL.
