I liked it though at some points difficult to follow. What happened really because the story keeps changing...
Jadina is a mystery and so is dead in this comic...

Je pense que je peux dire que c'est mon tome préféré depuis le début ! J'aime tellement l'histoire de Jadina, de l'arbre de Gaméra et du professeur Vangelis !

Overwhelmed by the death of Jadina, the Legendaries have a new task to overcome : Ténébris leaves them to succeed Queen Adeyrid for the throne of Orchidia. Is this the end of the Legendaries? Convinced that recent events hide something mysterious, Razzia, Gryf, and Shimy carry out an investigation. Their inquiries direct them towards the man responsible for all their misfortunes…

This volume continues the story of Jadina, Ténébris, Vangelis, and the kingdom of Orchidia, with tricks revealed, secrets brought into the light of day, and a battle with surprising combatants. Though happily this volume continues the story begun in volume 13, this book also merely continues to give us small indications of the “big evil” to come. We have a lot of teasers in regards to the destiny of each of the Legendaries, but Mr. Sobral is taking his time in revealing to us what is going to happen. I for one am starting to get a little frustrated with all of these diversions.

*Note: This review covers both numbers 13 and 14, since the story progresses 2 books at a time for this series.

I was a little worried after the amazingness of 'Le Cycle D'Anathos' that this series wouldn't be able to live up to the standard it had set for itself, but thankfully I was quite wrong. With the exception of one page in number 13, which required a deciphering key to read, which was supposed to be on a website that no longer has it, I rather enjoyed the entire saga. Gone are the days where Sobral would leave side stories unfulfilled, and instead he's created an intricate web of conspiracies that not only keep the reader riveted, but also enrich the overall narrative of the series-wide story. My only gripe with these two numbers (aside from the aforementioned annoying page) is, since they focused more on Jadina and her home, that there were no flashback sequences to explain/relive what had happened to her before all of these adventures began (like what had been done for Razzia during the battle against his evil clone/Anathos).
Aside from all that though, the series touched on a new theme here with the introduction of industrialization and the abuse of nature, which in this case had been happening for hundreds of years. It's just the latest small, but notable, nod that Alysia was not exactly a Utopia before the Jovenia accident, and that while the heroes are on a quest to correct that particular mistake, it certainly won't be all that's required to right all that is wrong in this world.
Kudos to Sobral, and highly recommended.
