About the author

I'm Kacey Carpenter, an author, educator, and community builder based in Oregon.

I write stories that matter, help people learn, and do some good along the way. My books include the National Park Mystery-Thriller series, beginning with Do Not Die Today, set in Joshua Tree, and Murder in Vacationland, set in Acadia National Park. I love exploring the outdoors, teaching Nature-Inspired Writing at Portland Community College, and bringing people together through writing, reading, and community service.
