I searched and searched through books and reviews and I finally committed to this one. If you want step by step, picture steps and such this isn't for you. However, this book has great ideas, material lists, General building guidelines, etc. I was originally wanting a book that would magically have the exact coop I have in mind, detailed list, step by step pics, a diy for me to build all by myself for like $100.00. But be realistic, if you are looking for what I was looking for then you will never be happy with any book. But if you have a partner with carpentry skills, 1 of you who can think outside the box it terms of making modifications to size, placement or exchange items in material list with cheaper alternatives then this book should work for you.
