I'm a little sad that this series is over already, but it was sweet, beautiful and magical from start to finish. And the artwork was consistently so stunning that I wanted to frame every single panel and hang it up on my wall.

This is the end of a beautifully illustrated story with a beautiful message. And yet, I feel like it was slightly rushed and could have had another few volumes before it conclusion.

Mira’s journey has been a positive one with productive growth. Master Rei believes Mira is almost cured and Mira is making small but critical steps towards her recovery. I loved how the manga depicts Mira’s slight hesitation as well as her friends and family who support and encourage her. This volume ends with all secrets revealed although it leaves some questions unanswered. It also depicts the blossoming of romance which would have been nice to experience later on.

That said, although Mira was improving, it felt like the character interactions were less connected. There were quite a lot of characters in this volume and there were sometimes meaningful interactions but it felt like something was missing. I couldn’t place my finger on what it was exactly, however it just felt like the characters were meeting for the sake of meeting to end the story. It felt slightly rushed, disconnected and insincere. Also, the closeness in the relationships grew at a much faster pace than in previous volumes. I’m sure there were a few time skips but I couldn’t estimate out how big the jumps were.

Similar to previous volumes, this final volume captures beautiful artwork. It depicts emotions strongly through the characters’ expressions and their surrounding environment, especially Mira’s affliction. That said, I felt like the artwork was slightly rushed in some places and missing the magical touch seen in earlier chapters.

Overall, this was an okay end to a beautiful series. I felt like there was a missed chance of using this story as a means to show how difficult recovery can be, as well as the strength and resolve of the patient to overcome it. I did enjoy the artwork and would recommend reading the entire series altogether because it’s easy to forget the mini episodic stories depicted in each chapter. Each story is connected but also independent of each other. This was a good series overall and I’m glad I got the chance to read it!

"But my happy memories won out over the sad ones."

What a beautiful ending. The art was pretty and consistent throughout the series. It was nice to see Mira gradually come out of her shell and accept herself and her illness. Her and Capri are also so cute. The time-skip was nice as well. The only character I didn't really care for was Cartos.

I thiiinnkk I'm gonna give this one a 3.85 stars

I'm gonna say this one was a 3.85, definitely one of my favorites of the series next to the first volume. I honestly think this manga wrapped up quite nicely! It could've spent more time wrapping things up and not had as many time skips, but I'm honest not sure I mind that there were any that much. This volume reminded me of the first one in the sense of like, nice, cozy fantasy vibes. I really liked the scene of her walking into the bookstore for the first time, it actually felt really magical.

And although I wish we'd seen some of that growth in depth, I like who Mira's character had grown into! It also gave me the same sort of therapy vibes the first volume gave me. In terms of that it gave me some deeper stuff to think about/sit with. I would say the only thing I disliked the most about this volume in particular is that the shadows from the first couple volumes finally pop up again?? And I hadn't even remembered them not being there???

I mean I knew this series was inconsistent, but as soon as they popped up I was just shocked like "OMG YEAH THE LITTLE SHADOW FRIEENNDSSS. WHY DID THE AUTHOR JUST NOT INCLUDE THEM FOR THE PAST FEW VOLUMES???" Sort of like they were only put there for one purpose and then excluded once they'd served that narratie purpose? So yeah that sort of made it glaringly obvious that this series does have a lot of inconsistencies, or at the very least struggles with continuity. But I'm still glad I read it!! It wasn't amazing, and there were quite a few questionable scenes and lines, but the art style was amazing and at times it gave super cozy/wholesome vibes. I only wish that this series was overall more consistent, and honed in more on that cozy fantasy aspect. As that's what this series did best and would help with the consistency of this series' general vibe and plot. But it is what it is.

I only mean to say that this series had a lot of potential, and I only wish that it had utilized that more. But yeah! I'm glad that I read this series aaaannddd I can't say that I recommend it in a general aspect but overall, it was alright and I'm atleast pretty satisfied with this last volume and the general ending
