Strongest of the series so far! While no master of crisis, Bee makes new friends, rebuilds relationships, learns to communicate in different ways (code switching!), and learns so much about the wider world! Flea is a jerk about Bee getting some recognition (which really should be it's own plot that wasn't touched on... gross) and is generally unhelpful butt it was nice to see Bee take the reins this time.

The code-switching bee does when she has to go ask her hive-mates for help is amazing! While not super explicit, it's laid out that the way Bee communicates at work isn't how she is expected to act and communicate at home - a very common thing for kids and adults alike!

I honestly can't tell if Bee is just naive intentionally or Flea is really that much of a jerk. Maybe I enjoyed this book so much because Flea was noticeably absent? Hm... a thought...

Fun little book for those interested in law enforcement or entomology. Bee is trying to figure out how to handle the emergency and flea is of no help. There are some not common words in here considering the age level of the book, but could be great for advanced learners to keep it at their age level and still be challenging. The story shows us how things are not always as they seem and we can be aware of what is happening and be cautious. But that things aren't always as they seem. The phots were great. Thanks Netgalley and Owlkids Books for a copy.

Bea & Flea and the Fall Fiasco, the third book in the Bee & Flea series, is a rollicking good time! Kids will love the bugs, sometimes-gross-STEM-facts, word play, fun illustrations, adventure, and humor! There is even a quiz at the back to find out if you could be an official F.L.E.A. agent. This book will appeal to nature-lovers and kids who like fast-paced stories.
