Chose this as a birthday gift for a small friend. Delightful illustrations incorporating the essence and character of landmarks, and each scene includes a cardinal for the little ones to find. Also found a set of matching note cards with the vibrant illustrations. Would buy and share again!

I have never been to St. Louis. But my son served a two year church mission there and this was the book that greeted him when he finally returned home. It's a sweet book about the landmarks and places that make St. Louis special. I hope to go there one day.

Grabbed this while in the City Museum in St. Louis--the perfect book to remember some of the places I've been and lots of great information about the city and places I still want to see on my next visit.

Great illustrations. They touched them up for the 2nd edition which also updated some contemporary STL facts.

LOVE this book and the illustrations. Great resource for teachers and librarians as well as moms and dads. The notes in the back provide some history of the various locations mentioned in the book. This is the only "guide book" you need when visitors come knocking on your door and want you to shown them around St. Louis.

I grew up in St. Louis so all of the landmarks in this delightful story with enchanting illustrations are familiar to me. How fun though to see them through the eyes of a child again. The back matter includes great information on the places listed. This one will have a special place on my shelves for a very long time.

My kids love this book! I recently read it to my son's elementary school class and the kids enjoyed finding the red cardinal on each page and then discussing their own favorite St. Louis spots (and these are wholesome kids! Their favorite local spots were "church," "school," and "the school playground").

A children's picture book featuring landmarks and sightseeing places around St. Louis, MO. I especially liked the pages containing a paragraph describing all of the sights.
