2 women, 2 men, one hustle. Author Jade Jones spins a tale of money and self preservation in the world of escorts and those who hook up with them. The group of escorts, 2 couples who choose to be in one relationship, allow the women to draw wealthy men in, and the guys are the muscle. They follow the women, completing the quick and unexpected robbery. It works perfectly, until...
The game changes when love enters the picture, babies join the group, and old flames show up from nowhere.
I read the full book in a few hours. It kept my interest, and there were few concerns with regard to editing, flow of the story, or character development.

I really enjoyed this read, it was very interesting . Sweater, Royalty, Lady and Capricorn had an unusual relationship but feelings and greed got in the way and it all started to go downhill. I can't wait for book 2 to see if Royalty makes it, will Sweater get what she deserves and will her and Zeus work it out?

Sweater is a cold back stabber. Sweater set her baby's daddy Zeus up to be robbed by her three best friends. Then she tells Zeus where to find Lady at the Greyhounds bus station. Then Caps shoots and kill Royalty. I knew swinging and sleeping with each other would eventually take a wrong turn. Cap and Lady wanted to be exclusive so Sweater and Royalty felt betrayed. Sweater was too crazy to be a mother, who slaps a four year old for saying"mommy I'm hungry".

I fully enjoy reading books that aren't the typical books or outcomes that I can guess of what will happen and to who. I have to say, this is one of the books that I don't mind reading again. Everyone had their own hand in the ultimate outcome of the full situation, whether I loved the character or not. Their ways still highlighted the outcome of what can happen with greed, jealousy, lust, and bitterness.

This is a well written story by both authors. The characters are developed as the plot thickens for Lady, Capricorn, Aphrodite. I wonder what Zues next move could be? This storyline gets a four **** rating from me. Next on the to-read list is Backpage II.

Good read! The betrayal is definitely real. Greed can definitely destroy friendships & lives. Can’t wait to see what happens in part 2.

This book was very informational and kept my attention through the whole story. It is amazing how many people can get away with Sex Trafficing and exploiting children.

What would have made Backpage better?
I apologize in advance, but I would have chosen a different narrator for the book. I would have also cleaned up the editing. For example using, "it was in the late 80's" instead of in the "low or high 80s" in reference to weather. Nippy instead of nifty to describe the chill in the air.
What was most disappointing about Jade Jones and Chase Moore ’s story?
The narration overshadowed the story. I stopped after an hour of struggling to listen. The narration was "sleepy". The male narration was jumbled instead of masculine or "thuggish". Some words were hard to understand.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Cee Scott?
Honey Jones, Soozi Cheyenne Or Mr. Gates
What character would you cut from Backpage?
I stopped an hour in so I cannot provide an honest answer.

Backpage had a slow start in my opinion and some of the flashbacks were jarring. For those reasons, I rate it a 4.5. As the book progressed, everything seemed to smooth out. This is my first read from both authors and I must say I enjoyed. I liked that the title of the book drew you in from jump, as the site of the same name is really hot right now and the storyline was very believable based on what goes on behind the scenes with dates on there.
Again, I liked the book and I will definitely read more by the Jade and Chase.

I read this book in about two days that's how drawn into it I was, it kept me interested from beginning to end! These four friends were really something else. I liked the love they all shared at first but inevitably it didn't stay that way. Overall I give Jade Jones & Chase Moore 2 thumbs up for this one.

This was my first read from both authors and definitely won't be my last. The story line was good and fully developed. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending really did shock me and I can't wait for the next installment.

Excellent read! The lifestyles of Royalty, Cap, Lady & Sweater is an unforgettable story. Although they all possessed violent tendencies, the love they had for each other was unforgettable . In the end, a true test of their friendship is put to the ultimate test. Looking forward to part 2.

Oh my goodness... this book was bananas! There was a swinger type setting between Sweater, Royalty, Lady, and Capricorn. Sweater and Royalty could relate to each other more, because both of them were untamed and wild, when it came to their personalities, and they both had reckless and dark backgrounds. Lady and Cap, were both down to earth, and laid back, which were the complete opposite of Sweater and Royalty.
Sweater never felt good enough, and she considered Royalty, Lady, and Capricorn family. She was also a cutter, and physically abused herself in the worst way, due to the abuse that came from her own mother, and that was to release her anger. Sweater was in love with her baby's father, Zeus, but because she was scared of not being good enough and becoming her mother. Everything that she knew began to fall apart, and she chose loyalty over love, but now she regret it.
Royalty was a hot-headed, hostile veteran, and he was a loose cannon. Royalty was going down the road of self-destruction, and he was a person that reacted on emotions. He didn't care what people thought of him, and even though he wasn't the tallest, his ego was of a man that was twice his height. He was the most arrogant, cocky, selfish person, and there was only 2 things that Royalty loved.... money, and of course, himself. Royalty's demise finally came to him, and it was well deserved, because he was going to kill many more innocent people.
Lady was very much attracted to Cap's nonchalant, non- threatening, humble, personality. Cap was Lady's yang to her ying, and they balanced each other out well. Lady wasn't spoil and selfish like Sweater was, and she always put everyone else needs, and wants before her own. She was just as unique as her name, and she never wanted to disappoint her friends, that were her family as well. She was the free-spirit, and never really had issues with anyone. Lady finally rubbed Sweater the wrong way, and also Cap's sister hated Lady with a passion. Lady had everyone hating her, and it may have cost her her life.
Capricorn was the ladies man. Cap was in love with Lady, and in the group, he was the voice of reason.... the complete opposite of Royalty. Cap was the level-headed one in the group, and he was a man of few words. Cap was Royalty's best friend, before the destruction, before the fall-out. Cap was worried about his friend, but after seeing that he was a lost cause, he wanted what was best for himself. Cap wanted Lady to himself, and to have a family, now he has lost his freedom, he may be spending the rest of life in prison.
What will happen to Lady, and will Sweater finally get back with the father of her child..... what will happen to Cap? My questions will be answered sooner than later, so Backpage 2, here I come.
