Love. Lust. It's my job to spread it around like a virus during cold season. But guess what? Life as a cupid isn't all chocolate hearts and pink arrows. Because even though love makes the realms go round, it seems cruel that cupids don't get to have any of their own. Which might be why I sometimes go on Love strikes and get in trouble with my supervisors. I get a little cranky.
But that all changes the day I get smacked down with some fae magic and go falling through the sky, crashing heart-first into a trio of hot genfins. Now if I can just get those orgasms that everyone says are so awesome, I'll be one happy girl.
I'm cupid one thousand fifty, and no one, not even a revenge-crazy prince, is going to stop me from getting my happy ending. Wink wink.
*This collection includes all four books in the complete Heart Hassle Series. It also includes extra bonus scenes after each book, including male POVs only available in this collection!
Signs of Cupidity Bonds of Cupidity Crimes of Cupidity For the Love of Cupidity
Author's Note: This is a reverse harem series intended for mature audiences only.
Raven Kennedy is a tea and dark chocolate kind of girl and can often be found binge-watching The Office or The Great British Baking Show.
She enjoys writing all kinds of books, because each one brings a different experience. Whatever the genre, she hopes she creates characters you can root for.
When she’s not reading or writing, she’s with her family, probably messing up a recipe or going on a hike that she thinks she can do, but in reality she can't because she remembers that all she does is sit at a computer all day and write her heart out.
You can connect with her on Facebook in Raven Kennedy's Reader Group, as well as @ravenkennedybooks on Instagram.
I've been up for 36 hours straight because I started this series last night before bed. I don't regret one minute of it--I laughed and squirmed (oh, so pleasantly) all night long. If you look for books that are equal parts Sam from Debra Dunbar's IMP series and Charley Davidson (a la Darynda Jones); sprinkle in a little of SNL's Kate McKinnon and add the unique world built by Raven Kennedy, you MIGHT be able to find something as fantastic as The Heart Hassle books. I'm not going to look too hard or too far, myself: After a reasonable nap I'm blowing off all of my grownup plans for the weekend to read the rest of Kennedy's backlist.
Hollyyyy wow! Okay woah, i did not sleep last freaking night cuz i was busy reading this amazing fucking book. This story is about a Cupid Emelle who is assigned to spread love in the Fea realm, she is invisible but because of Prince’s powerful magic she somehow gets out of the Veil and everyone can see her and thinks she is a spy. The prince hunts for her as she meets 3 guys on an island who are banished from the realm for 5 yrs until they have to fight to survive. Together they plan to bring down the evil prince. Now the wayyy things escalated in this series.... i mean wow. This story more focuses on Emelle and her plan to bring down the prince than her harem but i absolutely loved it. She is literally so adorable i mean i never found a heroine cute but Emelle is legit so cute and sweet and hilarious..oh god dont get me started with that. Her sense of humour was hilarious..i couldnt stop laughing while reading this, and her harem treats her like a queen 🥺🥺. There is so much going on in this book, so much suspense and action but also the romance was lighthearted and sweet. It was a perfect mixture of literally everything and kept me hooked till the end. I legit didnt sleep last night cuz i was busy devouring each page. I didnt like Okot’s character that much, he is one of the guys from her harem and he is a bull shifter and i felt like his relationship with Emelle was forced but other than that this book was amazing. The other 3 guys are so precious 🥺especially Syled, he is the kind and sweet one. I cant get over this series!! I love Emelle so much..she drags her wings behind her when she is tired 🥺🥺🥺 i love her character! She is sassy, funny and adorable! Ronak and Evert were also amazing, they care about Emelle so much 🥺 ugh i need more!!
This series was a ridiculous, colorful, sexual, mess of supernatural characters. The plot line was a lot of fun, with Cupid’s mixed in with the supernatural world. The the sexy times over shadowed the plot development I was hoping for with the unique set of characters, but it wasn’t a bad way to waste time for a 12 hour layover.
This book is ridiculous, but in a good way that makes me smile throughout. It's like the best comfort read. I know what's going to happen but her crazy inner monologue still makes me laugh. Add in the HEA with the kids and her being the top cupid and I am completely in love with this world❤️
Raven Kennedy is a queen. Cupidity is a series with a very quirky, very chatty, very real heroine. You can find the full collection as one massive book on KU. Let me say, there is a good plot, there are FOUR mates. The spice starts in book 2 and as usual, my girl Raven NEVER disappoints. The most fun I’ve had reading a series in some time. Special shoutout to my boys Evert and Sylred. A nose wiggle for the big teddy bear Okot. A resounding “yes daddy” for Ronak. Gods bless you, Emelle.
What I liked: This was my first reverse harem series, and I think it was a great introduction to that trope! Raven is a master of spice.
What stood out: I loved her brilliant use of the veil. Complex magic systems can often miss details or lack consistency, but Raven masterfully delivers and maintains her own rules. I also loved the unique members of the Covey. I mean, I see the appeal of reverse harem when you can get all the best tropes in one: slow burn, grumpy-sunshine, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, possessive, fated mates, found family, banter…it has it all!
Fav quote: “Rest, my beloved, I’ve got you.” I listen to his heart beating. “I know you do.” My body drifts off, lulled by his steady steps and strong arms around me. “Thank you for flying me to the stars,” I say on a quiet breath. I feel a kiss pressed to the top of my head. “For you, I’d pluck them from the sky.” All those years I hoped and wished and prayed to know what falling in love felt like? Yeah, I think I know now. It feels like this.
My thoughts: This series has a very different flavor from The Plater Prisoner series, and I enjoyed it immensely! It follows the journey of a lonely Cupid, a being whose sole purpose in the afterlife is to spread love throughout the realm she’s assigned to. But it’s a lonely existence and she longs to experience the same kind of love she gifts to others. When her assignment shifts from the Human to the magical Fae realm, she’s thrust from the veil into a body…and a whole new world of possibility.
Though there are technically 5 books in this series, the first 3 are the meat of the story while the 4th is a novella that focuses on the ever after “domestic bliss” part of the tale. Though it was quite spicy, Book 4 was not my jam. Book 5 branches off from the main story to focus on a side character’s happy ending. (And it is still on my TBR.)
If you’re looking for a well written, spicy, character-driven, light-hearted romp with a bubbly, lovable FMC and a pack of swoon-worthy MC’s, add this to your TBR!
Okay this book was adorable. Complete fluff and puff suger coated pink adorableness. I wish the book had gone more in depth about Emelles powers and the climax of the Prince’s army had been better but I can’t lie and say this wasn’t the cutest book I’ve read in so long. Definitely a Valentine’s Day must read!
Wow what a ride. A great story start to finish. Loved Emelle and her mates and the friends she made along the way. Hilarious, sweet, sometimes heartbreaking and totally Awesome.
I love this series! Definitely an amazing fantasy laugh out loud series, full of steamy moments! I definitely recommend you read it! A good valentine read as well
The cupid idea is similar to the book Can’t Fix Cupid by the same author (Raven Kennedy). But it is set in the fae world and is a RH. Therefore the stories are very different.
There are a lot of similarities with Kristy Cunning’s series. (Notably The Dark Side.) Why? The Cupid also ranks her guys, is invisible at the start, has lots of sex monologues and tries to be Austen Powers.
It is similar to Curse of Gods because Emelle is also clumsy, akward and tethered. The guys are similarly typed and there is a revolution brewing.
Despite the similarities with other books, the story is different enough to still hold potential.
In books 1 and 2 the characters have personality. There is adventure, danger and excitement. Palaces, princes, tails and more. I devoured the first two books.
But in book 3 Emelle rambles endless nonsense, flirts with anything with a pulse, cannot figure out obvious clues and cannot seem to grasp her own powers. Too much fighting and not enough intrigue. Plus the story is a mess of majors and minors and pissing on carpets.
I purchased the box set just so that I could read the new bonus scenes and I am so freaking happy that I did because they did not disappoint.
The bonus scenes are full of laughter, sexual innuendos, a daughter with the pension to stab things, covey sexy time, and POVs from the guys - I could not ask for more out of these scenes.
If you haven't read the series before than look no further for all of the above and so much more. Emmelle is the most hilarious character - she is sassy and adorable; a little clueless when it comes to being socially acceptable and a total romantic in the best way possible.
I am sad to see their story finish but there is an new book coming out set in the same world and I can't wait for it.
The first book promised a silly fantasy romance. The writing wasn’t amazing but it seemed like a fun time.
But after that I feel like the fun-ness wasn’t enough to carry the series and hide its flaws. Not gonna lie, I almost DNF’d in book two. However, I still read the whole thing and enjoyed myself throughout, though not enough to love the series. I think the writer said she wrote this book with the intention of having a good time and it definitely shows. Very creative and some fun dialogue.
It’s not a series I would give a glowing recommendation to unless you’re just here for a spicy good time, not necessarily writing/plot.
I liked the story and it was easy to get sucked into it, but Emelle was really obnoxious and her interactions with her mates was corny. I actually could have done without the sex because it wasn't really sexy... Too full of stupid euphemisms and "slurping."
The entire last book doesn't really have much plot, it's just life AFTER the plot, so it can be skipped if you're not into big family slice of life.
The MC was funny and said peculiar things but outside of that the overall story just didn’t do it for me. Don’t get me wrong I like the MC and her harem but I just didn’t feel juice enough. Like something was missing
Merita assolutamente!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
BONDS OF CUPIDITY Veniamo ora al secondo libro.
**All’inizio, Emelle mi ha fatto infuriare: sei stata separata dai tuoi mates, ma cercali no? Cosa stai lì a fare il bagno e mangiare tutta bella tranquilla… **
⭐️⭐️⭐️ e mezzo
FOR THE LOVE OF CUPIDITY In questa novella, ho ritrovato la leggerezza del primo libro.

Absolutely adorable, funny, and sexy - Adult/NA Fantasy +18 Romance - Reverse Harem
Firstly if you’re planning on reading this series - this collection is the best because it has additional chapters and epilogues not included in the books if you were to buy the books individually.
This collection gives you bang for your buck (pub very much intended).
+18 NA Fantasy Romance with Comedy 4/5 🌶
• world building • fated mates & bonded mates • reverse harem MMMMF • shifter, paranormal • Romantic comedy • Grumpy sunshine • Adorable ROM com female lead • Very interesting concept for the world as well as the magic system • Good plot
Very easy, cozy, fun read.
This series is set to be one of my favourite adult romantic fantasy reads probably of all time. Where the Plated Prisoner series is dark, this one overall keeps a light and funny tone throughout. There are some grey moments.
It is the quintessential romantic comedy within a fantasy context. I have never read anything else like it! 💕
The one thing that can be a make or break for some people, but I very much enjoyed, was that most very difficult plot points were quite fantastically resolved. For some people this maybe anticlimactic, but I really quite enjoyed it because it fits so well with the romantic comedy aspect of things where are you know there’s going to be a happily ever after and something will happen to resolve anything that happens… makes the whole experience very cozy and comforting.
The romance is adorable, and this book is very spicy with a lot of group scenes. It is a reverse harem which means the main character ends up with multiple partners.
But what won this entire series for me was the female main character & writing style - funny and light. The way the main character talks and thinks is just pure gold. She is hilarious and she is everything you want from a romantic comedy lead!
She has been at Cupid spreading love and last for as long as she can remember but lately the loneliness of her task and her failure is at spreading love has been getting to her. Finally she is sent to a different realm to test her skills there instead of the human realm and in fae realm things begin to really wrong. Due to some unforeseen events, she is thrust into the physical world and becomes public enemy number 1. But because she has been so lonely for so long, and because she hasn’t had a physical body for as long as she can remember her safety is only one of her concerns. Finding love and experiencing lust is at the top of the many things she wants now that she has a physical body.
And because she has been speaking for so long without being heard, she speaks plainly, is very honest and blunt and blurts everything out - I freaking love that about a lead character. You won’t find a miscommunication trope here.
This is the BEST reverse harem series i have ever read in my life. It was the first time am reading reverse harem and it was prefect. I have no words to describe how much I loved it.
The characters, character development, world building, plot twists, everything is so perfect. I'd say Completely, Utterly, Totally...FANTASTIC.
I never got a chance to read books from RK and let alone harem series. But it was Cupid. I didn't excepted the book would be this awesome before. My Gods, I loved each and every characters. This series has a unimaginable amount of humors that I didn't except to find.
From the beginning of the plot to the end, i had been laughing, smilling, shrieking and cried at the happy moments. This cupid story melts your heart then and there. You wouldn't be surprised to find it melted cause that's how this series was.
It was perfect for Valentine's Day or you would read if you want humors plus spicy. Wow, gods the spicy scenes was whole new level. I would totally recommend you to read it.
Now, Long Story very short - Emelle is a cupid and lives in Veil for sixty years being Invisible to everyone. Her job is to work her cupid powers on humans. Flirt touches, Lust breath, and love arrows. When she messed up her work, her superior yanked her from human realm and ordered her to go to fae realm. She found fae Kingdom and continued her work in Prince and Princess. They desired each other and Emelle found no reason to use her powers. They got married but Prince was cheating behind his wife back. Emelle was furious and shot him with her love arrrows. Somehow, Prince found and attacked her with his magic. She was no longer invisible and got physical body. She ran and jumped out of the window. Now he hunts her.
Please read this freaking series in your life and won't regret it. There's also spin off characters book about Belren and Lex encounter. Before you read this book, complete Series first.
Emelle is a cupid who, after fifty years of cupidity is feeling lonely. When she is reassigned from the Earth realm to the Fae realm, life changes.
She finds herself no longer incorporeal after being blasted by particularly strong fae magic. Once corporal, she meets her mates and falls in love. She makes friends and enemies and falls headfirst into a realm-wide war.
The overall tone of these books is light and funny. There’s and overall plot with the war against the prince. And along the way her and her mates grow in love.
It’s a cute series and I enjoyed it. If you’re wanting an RH that’s lighter, then this might be for you. Some sex (mostly in the third book and novella epilogue) but not overly smutty.

I’m very mad at Raven Kennedy because she can’t just skip 2 whole years and write an epilogue as book 4 when you have a mate bond that was not reconciled yet. 😡
Also why is it called book 4 when it’s a novella or extended epilogue. What a way to bait and switch your readers!!! For all other prospective readers this is a 3 book series with an extended epilogue not a 4 book series.
I don’t even want to finish ‘book 4’ anymore because I’m so upset we don’t get to see that time WITH them. What a tease and not in a good way!!
At least warn your reader that you are going to jump forward in time ESPECIALLY when you put them together like this. I spent the first few pages wondering if we had time jumped or if she got the kid’s age wrong that they rescued in book 3.
FYI - that’s another loose end not tied up by this ‘4th book’ 🙄
Not to mention I thought I had a WHOLE BOOK left with these characters. A REAL book not a novella and not a half-assed extended epilogue which is totally how ‘book 4’ feels when all I have read is the first chapter. I honestly wish the author had left this series at the end of book 3.
I’m completely caught off guard and thought I would get to see the resolution between them but no I will just have to imagine it myself which is not the point of reading. I don’t want to have to imagine it for myself that’s why I read SERIES. Get out of the genre or do it right!! 😡
Added after trying to finish ‘book 4’ - Not to mention that everyone completely forgets about one of her newest powers from book 3. Many of the problems they deal with in ‘book 4’ are solved with this power so I DNFed the novella at that point. That inconsistency right there just made it so I will never read another book by this author ever again. No matter how popular it may be…
I picked this up without any expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that I end up loving every second of this book!
The main protagonist—Emelle’s narration and her quirky ways of viewing life completely made me fall in love with her from the first chapter, in fact almost all of the characters we get to meet was amazing. But the thing that I admire the most is how unlike some other RH books that I’ve passed through before, Raven Kennedy really took her time in introducing each protagonists, developing them into an actual well-rounded and distinct characters, and playing with the chemistry without rushing into the sexual part of it all. The guys are not simply some mindless clones with hot body that the main heroine use for sex, this book has an actual substantial plot that can entice you completely to finish the whole series in one stand.
With basically 3 books and a half, Raven Kennedy succeeds in keeping up with the audience’s attention without dragging the plot towards the end. The twists and cliffhangers are always a nice surprise that will feed your interests along the way. So overall, if you’re like me, someone who are not really sure they’re into RH but are somehow intrigued by it, or maybe someone who do actually love some fun RH action, this is the way to go. Trust me.
If you are looking for a super serious read, this is not the book for you. The female lead, Emelle is flighty and scatterbrained after a unknown time of being incorporeal to the point that some readers might lose interest in the series because she is just so out there.
That was an issue I really struggled with during the first couple of books but by the end I realized that she's not shallow but damaged. She talks so much with zero filter because that is how she coped during her isolation. I also realized her gluttony for both food and sex is because it reinforces the fact that she is real and can touch and be touched as well as have things.
If you stick with the series to the final book, which is pure domestic fluff, you'll find that it is a lot like the movie Pleasantville where the black and white reality slowly fills with color as it grows and expands.I
My biggest criticism of the book is that Emelle laments the sad circumstances of her assistant and #1 Cupid but does nothing to resolve the situation even though the author literally set up all the things needed to perfectly and happily resolve that subplot.
There were some highs and lows in this for me. And since goodreads doesn't have .5 ratings I'm going to round up to 4 but this was ready a 3.5 ⭐️ for me. When I first started reading Cupidity I was bored out of my mind. Until she got to the fae realm, then shit started getting goooooood!! The different faes, her meeting her mates and them thinking she was a spy, her instant connection with Okot (love him he's my favorite...or maybe I just like the pierced goods), the epic battle with the prince, her becoming boss! I really really enjoyed it. However, when she first came back from the Veil after becoming boss, I was sooooooo bored and I admittedly skipped some parts. I had a love hate relationship with her experiencing things for the first time, it was cute and annoying at the same time. Not necessarily a bad thing! I did however enjoyed her as a mother and her covey getting used to life as parents! Character wise, I loveddd every mate and Emelle is sooo amazing. She's funny, sassy, strong, smart, rambly and a boss babe! I connected really well with all the MCs and I really enjoyed that.

I honestly kind of rolled my eyes when I read this book description. I have just finished the Gilded Prisoner series and was looking for something new. When I started reading this, I chuckled a bit, but was still a little meh about it. Then, shit happened. I laughed so hard while reading in bed one night that I woke up my husband, and then when I was onto book 3 I think? Maybe 2? IDK, when he pees on the carpet. I laughed so long and so hard I had to stop and walk away for a little bit because my chest was hurting. These characters are so loveable and Emmelle has a brain that works exactly.like.mine. Which may be good or bad, but either way, it is so relatable. Her long stretch without love can easily be compared to people waiting and hoping for "the one" (or four, you do you booboo) and being lonely and sad as we watch (or help) everyone else fall in love. I have no real complaints about this series, perhaps I'd like to see a down the road follow up that includes everyone, but I think the way all of the books were tied together and ended was pretty much perfect.
I seriously love Raven Kennedy books! They're fun, unique and the herione's are real life-trying to be cool but failing miserably, laugh-out-loud hilarious... Im sure I can hear all the English teacher's cringe with this little blurb. I just highly recommend this series, it's funny as hell....literally sometimes... I don't usually go for reverse harem books but it's too freaking hilarious. I even got my mother to read and laugh to this series. They're times that the sexy bits over show the story but mostly in the 3rd or fourth books... the first and third books made me laugh the most. However I highly recommend you read them in order. I liked this ebook omnibus of the series on Amazon because you get all 4 books and the special bonus bits and novellas. I'm seriously frothing at the mouth just waiting for the plated prisoner series book 4 to be out.(...one more month! Out May 2022)
If you like steamy books that can be both sexy and fun and silly and have very cool world building...check out Raven kennedy books!
I started reading this book after the glint series. I loved the different style of these books while glint is kind of dark and depressive( don't misunderstand i thinki it s one of the best books), this series is so fun, with lot's of love. A completely different and exciting idea where we follow a very funny and sassy cupid. I loved it! Excellent work all the story was so fun! A lot of the times i was laughing out loud😂😂😂. And then the -as she calls them- sexy times... i mean i have never read anything hotter... i quite litterally would want my own harem now... undortunately those stuff are fantasies! Fortunately we get to read them! I am very impressed with Raven Kennedy! Her style is unique! I kind of wonder though what happened with Belren... i haven't searched though for other books so i hope i 'll find out. 10/10 Read it now... preferably alone🥰 no distractions!
Fantastically written story. Full of drama, hilarious monologueing, and sass. A truly amazing read. Keeps you enamoured from the beginning to the end. Emelle is wonderful to read and easy to love. She is witty, ditty and all round fun. Her covey has it all wonderous, dark and broody Ronak; Evert is rude, obnoxious and flirty; Syl is sweet, charming and loving. Her lamassu has coined the phrase 'my beloved' and it makes you swoon everytime he says it. Twists and turns throughout the books are amazing and thrilling. The world building is mesmerising and engaging. The characters are just brilliant. Every one will find a favourite. Looking forward to Belrun book. He stole the show. Every book is wonderful on its own but together they have great a world filled with flirty touches, lust breathe and hot steamy sexual content. Highly recommended and enjoyable read.
Well call me struck by a Cupid because I’m truly in love with this series. I’m so glad I picked this one up as it was so fun. The first books writing was a bit rough, and the second got just a bit better, but book three and definitely three and a half were my favorite of the series.
Emelle and her mates are just awesome. I love the love between them and feel like they just really meshed well together. Emelle’s Cupidity was delightful and fun. At times she was a bit annoying, but ignoring some of the middle school talk about sexy times and private parts eventually made me really fall in love with it. It made Emelle who she was and brought a ton of fun to the story.
The long epilogue of book three and a half really was the kicker though. I loved learning about their lives after the events of the last book and her pregnancy and the kids was just a hoot. You definitely feel the love with this family and I couldn’t be happier.
Love love love this and can’t recommend this enough!
