Habits

Carrie does a good job of getting to the meat of habits! She gives you a rundown on a lot of knowledge of habits and how to achieve them!

This would be a good starting place if you have never considered the topic of habits and their effectiveness. However, having read The Power of Habits, Atomic Habits and Habits of the Household, this book didn't teach me anything new.

Exactly what I needed to get motivated & acquire the basic skills and roadmap to start developing good habits and eliminating bad habits.

I never realized that developing habits actually frees your brain up to work on other things. No wonder I'm overwhelmed!

I also love that she linked to other resources....especially the Charlotte Mason resource for developing habits in our kids....I read that book all the way through as well!

Good enough book but I didn't like how night owls were portrayed or that we can become larks. I do agree that anyone can learn to get up earlier but that still doesn't take into account energy and productivity levels. No matter how early I get up, I still only hit my stride at around 10 am. She references Gretchen Rubin a lot. In Better than Before, Gretchen actually says there is research saying larks will never become night owls, nor will night owls become larks.

Just a blog post in e-book form. Like "Eat That Frog," a consolidation of things you knew already. But it was a free Kindle book offer, so I read it.

Though, like the author, I am more likely to floss if I floss in the morning than at night. And I will stop fighting that fact so as to better make it a habit.
