A tempting proposition.

Balancing a hectic life and demanding family, Miriam is at the brink of exhaustion. Enticed by an offer to leave it all behind, she agrees to entangle herself with four older men; each seeking something different from her.

A wound to the soul.

As the snowfall traps them, bonds are built and connections made until a truth shatters Miriam’s illusions. Wounded, she flees to reclaim her sense of pride.

The pursuit.

Realizing the consequences of their actions, the men will have to weather the tempest of Miriam’s wrath. But will they all be standing together – and with her – when the storm passes?

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

STORM is a why choose romance novel, which means that the main character won't have to choose who she ends up with. This is a MFMMM 18+ why choose age-gap romance that has elements some may find triggering. Main TW is BDSM elements and pregnancy. 3⭐️ and I’m only being generous for Miriam, Ezra and Tate.

To be honest I didn’t think I was going to make it through this in the beginning.
I hated how they met the fmc, I hated that she was just another woman for something they’ve done loads of times in the past. I hated that she was a 24 year old virgin and they were all very very very experienced. I hated the little details in their pov of when they’ve did this with other women before, for example Richard’s kink of going bare and being obsessed with watching it come out. When it’s the fmc, hot. When it’s referring to ow from past then it’s 🤮🤢

But I pushed through.

I really liked the fmc and I really liked Ezra and Tatum. I’d have been happy for an MFM happy ending with just those two.
Richard needed to be set on fire. Pissed on, then set on fire again.
Kevin was meh.

-Multi PoV
-Age gap Miriam 23, Tatum 33, Ezra 34, Richard 37 and Kevin 45
-Why choose with no mm
-surprise pregnancy with complications
-OWD- after their weekend with Miriam, Richard tried to set up another weekend for him and Kevin with Ow even though Kevin wasn’t really into it. In his pov he admits Miriam was the best they’d had but since it ended badly he was trying to ‘expel some energy onto someone new’ (uhh fucking scumbag) They arrived at the cabin not knowing Ezra was already there with Miriam, he was obsessed with fmc and had found out about the pregnancy and kidnapped her so when Richard and Kevin came in with OW Richard was again a massive dick to Miriam and OW tried to talk shit to her but they sent her away.
So with ow2 Miriam had tried to contact the guys multiple times to tell them about the pregnancy. Kevin’s assistant wants him so when she saw the fmcs emails she deleted them, when she had called his office to speak to him she wouldn’t put her through. Later in the book she deletes messages about the paternity test so Kevin would miss it. He tells her explicitly and bluntly he’s not interested and at one point when Kevin leaves Miriam in his office ow2 verbally insults her and Kevin overhears and fires her on the spot.
-HEA
-several epilogues
So they have their son Gabriel, 2 years later they have twin boys and then a few years after they have a daughter.
15 years later their daughter is 10, and they’re all still together and happy.

Unfortunately Richard didn’t die in the meantime

Great characters, but I need more

This was the first book in the series that I really felt like could have benefited from being a duet. I really liked every character, but it felt to me like their stories could have been more fleshed out. Ezra was referred to several times as a "hunter" in regard to his army ranger service, but we have no details on how or why he earned that title (and still uses it). Richard has an inner monologue about being crushed by some truths handed down to him by Miri, but he never discusses it with her directly. This one also felt a little tame compared to the others as far as conflict amongst the main characters went. I enjoy these books so much; this one included. S.E. Green is such a fantastic writer that I feel like this is nitpicky stuff - it's truly a story worth reading. I just think there's much more story left to tell here.

A great book with a variety of characters!

"STORM" has a very diverse set of characters. You have a strong, hardworking, loyal FMC (Miriam) who tends to run herself into the ground to ensure everyone is looked after, even at her expense. Then there's the men. A traumatized, sweet, loving, maybe not all there in the head, golden retriever type named Ezra. His "keeper," who's pretty level headed and the most "normal" of the group, Tatum. We also have Kevin, a protective, loyal, "daddy" kind of guy who loves to take care of his woman (not in a Dd/Lg kind of way!). Finally, Richard, who is in few words, a dick most of the book. It's hard to believe he has redeeming qualities, but trust me, the author makes it work!

The guys get away once a year to a cabin to relieve tension in a bit of an unorthodox way. They hire a woman to "take care of their needs," including their particular kinks. While Kevin is taking Miriam home to her family for the holidays, he gets word that their woman has canceled. In a moment where they have to decide what to do quickly, he asks Miriam if she'd be willing to help them. She agrees. Once the weekend is over, she overhears them talking and doesn't like what she hears. She runs away without telling them, simply leaving a note.

Months go by when she realizes she's pregnant. She isn't sure how to contact them since she blocked and deleted their numbers when she ran away. Her reaching out to their offices or on social media doesn't seem to work. What she doesn't expect is for one of THEM to find HER.

I personally enjoyed the whole book. The characters all have their own traits and personalities, plus depth behind them. You really get to feel for Miriam and all she's going through throughout the book. The guys will have you melting over them at some point or another. (For me, Ezra had my heart the entire time!)

This book has pregnancy, grumpy / sunshine, age gap, some miscommunication, some 'other woman drama' (that the guy does NOT stand for when he realizes it), a little bit MORE 'other woman drama' (that the OTHER guys don't put up with), a bit of troubled family that gets resolved, specific kinks, etc.

It's a great book. Give it a read!

I DEVOURED this so fast. I absolutely loved it. Ezra is my favourite out of everyone and I loved the chapter with him panic buying baby stuff with a 16yr old boy as his guide LOL.

Not to mention Kevin with his pad out taking notes down furiously like a cop at a crime scene during one of the dr's visits.

I loved Mriam and her take no shit attitude. I loved seeing Susu and her guys and the preludes to BREAK with the guys at Kevin's precinct.

Famn you Sarah, here I was thinking it'll be easy to pick my top favourite reads from this yeah but you managed to slip this one in last minute and now I'm gonna be left with some eeny meeny miny moe going on to decide between some because this has cemented a spot

Never Fails to Captivate

From the first book to the most recent, S.E. Green never fails to draw me into her characters and their lives. I'm hooked from the first word to the very last. I can only hope she continues to provide words for me to devour, characters to fall in love with, and tales that always leave me wanting more. Here's to hoping Ollie gets her own book. (Spoiler Alert) I think the only I missed in this book was wanting Captian Cooper to father a baby!

Wow, just wow. This is hands down my favorite book by S.E. Green. Every single one of her stories is amazing, but this one is special to me.

Miriam is everything I love in a FMC—strong, selfless, and endlessly hardworking, even when it means putting everyone else's needs above her own. She’s a character you can’t help but root for. And the guys? Absolute perfection in their own unique ways. Ezra is the sweet, unhinged golden retriever who stole my heart, while Tatum's steady, calming presence makes him a standout. Kevin brings all the protective 'caretaker' energy you could ask for, and Richard... well, let's just say the author works miracles turning a total jerk into someone you’ll love by the end.

A weekend in a secluded cabin leads to steamy moments that had me fanning myself. When Miriam overhears something that sends her running, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for everything to come crashing back together. And boy, does it ever.

This book has everything: spice, tension, humor, and heart. You'll laugh, cry, and maybe even yell at the characters (in the best way). It's got grumpy/sunshine vibes, pregnancy drama, age gap tension, messy family dynamics, and yes, a little 'other woman' drama that gets handled just right.

If you're a fan of books with depth, steamy moments, and amazing characters, you need this one in your life. Trust me.

Very good

In my opinion, this book would either have been waaaay better as a duet or heck even a 100 pages longer - the last 30% was way too rushed for a completely satisfying read. I honestly did not want it to end.

My 2nd gripe would be the huge space between the spice - the main spice was at the very beginning in the cabin, AND IT WAS HOT. Then nothing for a very long time, I think til after the 70% mark, which was a shame, really.

I normally love a pregnancy trope, but maybe too much time was spent on that rather than building intimacy between the Fmc & her 4 guys.
The best compliment that I can give is that this is easily in my top 10 reads this year & I will definitely reread it again.

Nofe on the ending & epilogue.
They were talking about having a girl & naming her Oleander then the 15 year epilogue said Ollie/Olleander was 10 years old & going to get her ears pierced?

Note2. People asking for Ollie to get her own story? Ewww. Who reads about a well adjusted 10 year old girl & thinks she needs her own harem book??

The first several chapters of 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎 were part of an anthology last year and I was so looking forward to the rest of Mariam, Kevin, Tatum, Ezra and Richard’s story. I really loved these characters and how diverse the men are. That Miri is so so independent but also a lot of pride mixed in there as well. I really enjoyed there story and the extended epilogues give us that look into the future I loved the glimpses of the previous characters from the other books. This was another good why choose by Green. Also Lucifer I completely support Miri plans and snickered during the tinsel. Had one just like him growing up!

Heat level: 5/5. As soon as I edited the snippet of this story for the anthology it was in, I was sold. 1 of the MMCs has a primal kink AND we see him in his element. Dear gods I melted in my seat. He's a chaos puppy and also a bit stalkery so he was my favorite. This FMC might be my favorite and not just because she's Latina like me BUT she doesn't take any shit from the MMCs. Curses them when they rile her up and knows her worth. She has a big age gap with a police captain, she softens a lawyer with a stick up his ass, and the EMT is adorable. The connections to other stories in the end as well as bringing back her best friend from the previous book were the whipped cream on top. What a great way to end this interconnected series.

I really enjoyed all of S.E Greens previous work. I was waiting so long for this one. Fell in love with Miri and her personality. Richard, Kevin, Tatum and Ezra are all amazing MMCs who each bring something important to Miri’s life that she needs desperately (but also maintaining her independence).

I love the little note about how no one likes to be left of a cliffhanger but I definitely feel like I was left on one from that last epilogue. I wish we found out about her aspirations of being a nurse. I am still a little mad with her papa and brothers but I am getting over it. Loved the playlist that went along with the book. The book was amazing and I loved all the characters. It wasn’t an instalove (minus YKW) but it showed how they worked to gain her love and support.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

After the teaser she gave us in an anthology, we have waited a whole year for this book! And boy, was it worth the wait! Opening: hot as ever. The group scenes that take place were delicious (this was the snippet that was in the anthology). Then to see how how all the pieces fell in the after math, with the grovelling and the hurt feelings and just how they all navigated the unexpected baby (not a spoiler, she says it right up front this happens). Ezra, what a gem. His unhinged, wild side really keeps the humour element to what could’ve been some really dark times for Miriam. I also love the crossover characters from the last book and getting to see them live out their HEA. All of her books are great - please, please, please pick up one of them!

✨ Check TW
✨ Reverse Harem MFMMM
✨ Pregnancy
✨ Stalker-ish vibes
✨ Virgin FMC
✨ Age Gap

I have read all the books in this series and love them all, but this book didn't really hit the spot for me. The story starts with one of the MMC's asking the FMC for a weekend to have sex with him and his 3 friends (she doesnt even know them), miscommunication and pregnancy. I didn't felt any romance (okay i loved Ezra one of the MMC's from the beginning, he was completely all in). The relationship/romance starts at the very end, it felt kinda rushed :(

a perfect ending

This story was probably tied as top 2 for my favorite of the series. I love this trope (won’t say because of spoilers) so much and I loved the way it was done in this story. It definitely started off piping hot then stayed at a simmer the rest of the book, but honestly it was perfect. I don’t think I could pick a favorite from the guys, though, because each of them had their own quirks that made them stand out. I liked that they had such a detailed ending, because I feel like the content of this story deserved it.

Sexy and exciting!!!😍😍😍

My heart is throbbing!😁 I'm completely blown away! This Dissonance series will make you feel vulnerable in ways you never felt before. Storm starts off with a bang but definitely does not end with a whimper.😉 The beautiful dynamic shared between the MC's is breathtaking! How they grow and stumble and learn about how life can bring so much joy even after sorrow is fierce. S. E. Green twists and pulls emotions out of you you didn't even know you are capable of feeling!😋 I highly recommend you don't miss out on these astoundingly well written books!😘

Fantastic

I first read the beginning for this book in an anthology and was completely hooked so I'm so very happy that the author finished it and I could read the rest of the story. Once again I was completely drawn in and couldn't put it down. My emotions were taken on a rollercoaster ride with these characters. I loved how everything ended. This was my first book by S. E. Green but it won't be my last.

This story features both the virgin trope and pregnancy trope, and I really liked how it was handled. The FMC is strong, kind, and stays true to herself till the very end 🌸. What I appreciated most is that the men don’t try to change her — they support her, encourage her, and accept her exactly as she is 💕.

It’s a sweet and emotional read with a cozy snowed-in vibe, just the right mix of warmth and spice ☃️🔥.

Review to come.

Pretty sure this is tied for my 3rd fave book of all time by this author.

And yes I have to rank them. Every time she puts a new book out I swear to god they go straight to my “Fave of the Year” list.

Dunno what she puts in these books but I’m addicted and I don’t wanna be rehabbed 😂🙈

I feel like I waited ages with giddy excitement for this one and Oh My Goodness!!! It did not disappoint. Storm is definitely my favorite out of the whole series I think!

It was spicy and angst and I loved the ups and downs. Miriam certainly made the guys work for it and I loved that. Ezra was definitely my favorite 😍

I look forward to reading whatever SE Green shares with us next!

I just loved this book and couldn’t put it down!
This book satisfied a few of my cravings. I love reading about strong and spunky fmc’s, pregnancy books that go in depth through the journey, great selection of characters that bring something different to the table, humour and spice!
Overall, it was a fun book to read!

Loved it, just like the whole series, but I really believe that this would have been even better if it was either longer, or a duet. Maybe it’s just because I didn’t want it to end? Regardless, I loved it!

S.E. has done it again

my mind is blown and I'm in love with this story!

The story starts with a spicy, fun-filled weekend that quickly devolves into angst, which was the perfect start to this cast's story! I was immediately intrigued by all of these characters and the slowly building dynamics between them, so to have that all come crashing down so quickly was intense and thrilling! Watching these men come to terms with everything that happens is wonderful!

STORM has given me a new top 3 book boyfriend and I cannot wait to hype Ezra up for eternity! His chapters were as delicious as they were hilarious! His best friend Tatum was equally wonderful in a cinnamon roll way! Add in daddy Kevin and snarky Richard and this group was phenomenal!
