Quick and hot...just what I wanted.

I loved catching up with Thomas & Cat. This story joins them 10 years later and things are not great between them and their marriage has lost it's spark. Fortunately enough both Thomas & Cat realise things are starting to go wrong and both love each other enough to want to put that spark back.....If you are a MacKenzie fan then this is not to be missed!

Spoilers ahead.....I guess because I really liked Thomas and didn't really like Cat that this book made me angry. I hated how Thomas took some of the blame for their sex life starting to fizzle. In my eyes, I saw it was Cat to blame. They had children and Thomas was always scared she would get hurt and not come home after a job...of course he wanted her to quit...but he never pressured her. As a wife and a mother there are sacrifices that one has to make, and this should have been one. But she let her quitting her job effect her marriage and cause tension. Then on top of that she lied about taking jobs again to Thomas. My heart broke for Thomas when his wife finally did have sex with him, he knew right away that she had done a job and he thought that was the only way she was attracted to him...when the adrenaline was flowing. When they finally did talk, Thomas did say that he could have tried harder is perusing her and he was guilty of just sitting back and seeing what would happen....and I guess I see that, but if I felt my spouse could only screw me because of the danger in her job...I think it would be hard to instigate sex. I dunno....like I said...maybe its because I really didn't like Cat but I really feel Thomas got the short end of the stick in the apology department....and he shouldn't have had to apologize to her at all...lol.

This is a following story centering around Cat and Thomas 10th wedding anniversary. Their marriage has gotten a little boring sin do she gave up her consultant job for the FBI two years ago. Thomas arranges a job for her and him to do to liven up their marriage. Very exciting.

This addition to the series included much of an essence than the main story itself. Strange but it worked great. This time we have the opportunity to watch Cat and Thomas struggling to bring their marriage to the point where they both are truly happy and comfortable with the other once again.

This is the really quick read about Thomas and Cat and their relationship ten years later. You get only a very short glimpse into their lives as the book should only take you 40 minutes to read if that.
She has left the FBI and the sizzle has gone out their relationship and of course Thomas will do whatever he can to put it back in.

I really liked that To Catch a Cupid and a slightly realistic feel to it, aside from the whole thief part. We catch up with Cat and Thomas 10 years after the wed, and things aren’t going so well. Marriage isn’t always so hot, so it’s a nice change of pace.

To Catch a Cupid picks up Thomas and Cat’s story a full decade after they met, married and, have started a beautiful family. To the average onlooker Cat and Thomas have an ideal life surrounded by family and friends and living in the MacKenzie family home. When the average onlooker gets a little better view however, the story isn’t quite so rosy. Thomas and Cat started out hot and heavy and though their attraction to each other hasn’t waned over the years, there isn’t quite the same spark there used to be. When Thomas met Cat she was a full-blown thief whose heists added more than a little excitement and adventure to her life. Bringing that excitement home and into the bedroom only increased the passion but eventually, even Cat had to concede that being a thief isn’t exactly conducive to raising kids. The problem is that Cat misses her high risk/high reward life and she just doesn’t know how to reconcile her desire to steal with her love for and devotion to her family.
Ever the perceptive husband, Thomas knows Cat is restless but can’t quite figure out why. When Cat fesses up about her desire to go back to her old life and rekindle the romance she and Thomas once had, Thomas has some thinking and some planning to do. Thomas loves Cat dearly and knows her job is high risk and though he certainly doesn’t want to see her get hurt, he wants her to be happy. What Cat totally isn’t expecting is the solution her very creative and very, very sexy husband comes up with.
The Bottom Line: Oh, Thomas!! I want a Thomas Strong, sexy, clever and, totally willing to take a huge risk to help his wife. Cat is still solid, lovely and, the perfect match to Thomas. Her restlessness is understandable and her desire to bring the heat back into her romance is admirable. Once again, I walked away from the MacKenzie family feeling all kinds of satisfied and ready for the next round and the next brother.

Another Stellar Read by Liliana Hart!!!!
You did it again girl. Thank you for such great reading material in between your full length novels. You are truly a reading fans dream writer.
Thomas and Cat are still together with 3 kids, Dr. Office and the entire MacKenzie clan. After 8 years of marriage Cat retired from the FBI, as it was what she thought Thomas would want. Things don’t always go as planned and you find out what you wanted then may not be the best. Cat starts working on the sly for Declan Mackenzie doing small security breech tests just to keep up her skills and from boredom. Thomas is left feeling like a kicked mule after Cat seduces him in his office one day, and he know she has been on a job because he had not seen her like this since her retirement. Thomas knows he’s a fool and sets out to right the wrongs he has cause for the last 2 weeks of his wife sleeping in the spare room. Thomas calls Declan to help him out of this mess and set up a job in which he can go with Cat on. The job is a success and Thomas and Cat are once again on the same page. And you know when a MacKenzie starts planning something is going to go ass over tea kettle. A happy ending for those of us that Love the MacKenzie’s. Of All 4 stories I have read so far from this series each book consists of 6 chapters . Shortest Novella's I have read when there's only 1 story per book. Author should put Thomas's two stories together as one book with two seperate stories. . I am hoping the rest of this series is longer in length. I start to get into the story and then it's done. This takes place 10 years after the first book of Thomas who is the Second youngest brother. A high end thief crashes right into his arms. He falls love at first sight. His thief is Cat who worked for the FBI and she returns stolen art to its rightfully owner but she is Retired in this book. She is good at what she does being doing it since a kid with her dad and Uncle. It seems both Cat and Thomas fall head over heels in love and she decides to stay in Surrender, Montana . Now she no longer works for FBI but does some jobs for his cousin Declan and she has been hiding this from her husband. Thomas finds out because she has the fire back in her eyes. According to Thomas they only have fun crazy sex is after she pulls a job. They fight both and for anniversary gift he gets her a job from Declan they can do together. She forgives him for being an ass they do the job, have mind blowing sex in backseat and then 6 weeks earlier she is pregnant with their 4the child. This was the story. I wanted more, I hope the rest of the books are longer than this one and 3 before this one.

So married life was working great for both Thomas & Cat. However, with valentines day looming it seemed since his wife had retired from her job she wasn't the same spunky, feisty woman.
Thomas vowed to find her and bring her back again.
No matter what the cost..............
Well, this was a charming little novello tying up the story between Thomas & Cat.
Again, another well written read, with plenty of fun and jokes, plus some heart-wrenching moments too.
I loves how the story brought everything together, plus the added extras from their years of marriage.
I do feel that they both thought too much about each other without verbalising their true feelings. Lastly, it also brought forth that no matter how much love you have you must learn to appreciate each other, share each others thoughts, dreams etc..........
Top marks again, in a superb series

Getting caught never seemed so good!
Great follow-up to Cat and Thomas's story! The story had great flow and we got to see what a few other MacKenzie's have been up to. Maybe even a teaser for a future story with Jayden in Paris. And now a bit about the story...
Cat and Thomas had met 10 years earlier when she had been escaping from a job gone wrong. She was an expert thief for the FBI and had gotten shot retrieving a valuable artifact. Her job worried Thomas and 2 years ago she retired. But their lives haven't been the same since. It is nearing their anniversary and she is determined to spice their lives back up! Give this story a try and see how Cupid works his magic.

“Cat got your tongue,” she purred. “Don’t worry. I’ll give it back later.”

I love this series so much, and I'm SO glad Liliana Hart decided to write more for each to show where they are after their perspective HEA's.
Surprise in this one we get to see Jayden 21 YEARS OLD?!?!?! I was SO happy when I read that, I after reading the Christmas book of Dane's I was hoping at a glimpse of and older Jayden AND I got it here.
Not only that we got to see other MacKenzie's as well...I don't want to ruin it so I'm going to leave this with the following:
1. I loved this addition to the series
2. I loved we got to see a grown up Jayden
3. I also loved that we got to see some of the other MacKenzie's as well

Thomas and Cat ten years in their marriage. They seem to have lost their passion along the way, with kids, Thomas' practice and Cat's job. They have a blow out. Thomas makes plans for a special surprise for Cat for their anniversary and to bring their passion back. Boy oh boy, does it bring it back. As always when you read about the MacKenzie men, they surely don't disappoint, with hot and sexy scenes that make you melt in a puddle.
I really enjoyed reading To Catch a Cupid:Thomas, we got a look more in their lives. I am really looking forward to upcoming MacKenzie Family book releases, especially Shane's book next year. I CAN NOT WAIT!!! :)

As much as I'm on the fence with novellas, I really love that Liliana can tackle them and not make me mad that I read them. We catch up with Thomas and Cat ten years after they were married. Their life is routine and they both seem to miss that spark that just isn't there, at least not the way it used to be. Thomas knows just the thing to give his wife to get their marriage back on track, and he knows just the man to call, none other than his cousin Declan. With a trip to NYC, and a little mission that Dec has in store, Thomas and Cat reconnect and come home with a little souvenir.

It's nice to catch up on Cat and Thomas and see that they've managed to make it, if not with some difficulty. But it's refreshing in romance novels to read about hardships after the happily-ever-after, because isn't that how life works?
A great follow-up with plenty of scorching romance that leaves you hoping (if you're single) for a man like Thomas who's willing to compromise and open up about feelings.
Also, fun to see other MacKenzies (especially the grown-up version of Dane's son who's got women swooning all around him).
If you liked Thomas, you must get this one.
