Five years ago, I slept with my husband’s best friend. Then, my husband slept with his best friend, too. And now, the three of us are in matrimonial bliss with three kids at home. Drake suggested we visit the place where it all started and celebrate our anniversary in Sin City itself. Something tells me he has a surprise up his sleeve, and I’m dying to know what it is. But the truth is, I have one too. What I’m about to ask my husband to do is insane, but I have my reasons. I’ll do anything to protect my family and this perfect life we share. Even if that means letting the man I love do something he might not want to do. * This is a short story that takes place five years after the end of Give Me More, featuring Isabel, Drake, and Hunter. There are obviously spoilers for Give Me More in this story.

WHAT TO EXPECT: ✨ 5 years after 'Give Me More' ✨ las vegas setting ✨ MMF ✨ 3/5 spice ✨ horrendous miscommunication ✨ drama ✨ HEA
My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved Praise and Give Me More, but the last few books were not my cup of tea. I only read this because it featured my favorite throuple, so I figured it would be a safe bet. But I was so wrong.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
What the fuck is wrong with Isabella??? I wouldn't say she's the brightest of the bunch, but after five years of being in a loving, committed relationship with Drake and Hunter where they have three children and no one has complained about their dynamic, she get's this idea that Drake misses the single life and is willing to give him a hall pass???? What's worse, is Hunter and Isabel talk about this beforehand without Drake, and that same evening she decides to take them all to a brothel so Drake can go fuck around if he wants. The absolute disrespect for him and their relationship is disgusting. This relationship is not healthy if neither Isabel or Hunter cannot openly communicate their concerns with Drake. The poor guy was so blindsided and hurt because while HE wanted to surprise them by getting married in Vegas, they think he's a fuck boy still. It's like they don't know him AT ALL. Drake deserves so much better.
And then, all Isabel has to do is cry and she's forgiven???? And then Drake and Hunter 'punish' her by fucking while she watches? Fuck no. Leave her ass outside the hotel room to think about how stupid she's been. Better yet, get Drake away from these people because Hunter isn't much better for having the same thoughts but not saying anything at all.
Also, I was annoyed that the sexual dynamic focused way more on Drake and Hunter getting each other off while Isabel is always off to the side commenting how hot that makes her. It was done so often that it felt like Isabel was fetishizing them and it made me uncomfortable. I noticed this a little in Give Me More but it was super apparent here.
Overall, I was not a fan of this and would not recommend reading since it'll ruin your perception of the trio. Honestly, this is the last thing I'll read from Sara Cate. I haven't enjoyed anything since Give Me More, so I feel like it's time to move on.
I wanted to slap Isabel round her thick head, omg. Is she for real? After FIVE YEARS you still think your partner is desperate to go fuck every person that moves (nice harmful bisexual stereotype there btw😐)? I felt so disgusted reading this and what pissed me off more was Drake immediately folding when Isabel just cried and said sorry, as if she didn’t just massively discredit his love for her and imply he’s still a secret fuckboy 💀
I can only assume that Sara Cate just needed a quick story idea for the anthology this was a part of, because Christ almighty I cannot believe that this was the same Isabel I read about in Give Me More.
I’m angry I even read this 😭 I was so looking forward to it and they’re not even my favourite couple!! Not the way I wanted to end my evening.
Wtf was this??? Did isabelle get body snatched or some sh*t? That was not the same person from give me more and honestly if this is a true representation of who she actually is they need to leave her toxic a** behind and be happy by themselves. This is just more evident that sara cates writting is going down in quality. I thought isabelles secret was going to be a fun sexy adventure but it was just her outright disrespecting her husband. Its especially maddening because he forgave her the first second she shed a tear even tho she assumed that he was still the man he was before they got together. He planned a whole f*cking wedding for her too. Basically they need to drop isabelle and live happily ever after without her

This was a perfect extended epilogue of sorts for Give Me More. Things have been going really well but they still aren't perfect at communication. I liked that they had another complication after things ended in their book because I was dying to see where they ended up with their dynamic.
Okay I’m sorry but what? Give me more was my favourite of the salacious series and I was so excited for this novella. Spoilers: Drake, Isabelle, and Hunter have now been married for five years and Isabelle thinks Drake misses his old life and offers for him to have a free pass weekend. All while he was taking them on a weekend getaway to celebrate their anniversary. Yes the wedding ceremony was a surprise but like what!? And Drake says he wasn’t very mad like, how could you not be. I would doubt my whole relationship if after 5 years my wife thought I would leave her to have sex with randoms like??? What was the point to have the same tension point as in give me more? I should not have read this 😭
hunter and drake each holding a piece of bread pressed to isabel's head: "what are you?" isabel, a fucking dumbass: "an idiot sandwich." (girl not the biphobia 5 years and 3 kids later what)
they are my favorite couple from the salacious players series <3 i was so excited to read this, but it was super strange that isabel was still having doubts after all these years!! like babe you guys are all perfect together be so fr. anyway this was a fast and fun read! i am happy to read about them any day 🥰
I mean- a ten chapter novella about Iz, Hunter and Drake?! Say less, this was the best Christmas gift ever! So spicy and sweet and the last chapter was the absolute best:) the perfect SPC lover novella!!!
Sara Cate gave us an amazing holiday gift with this spicy and sweet short story. I love the Salacious Players Club series, and I was so happy to see this bonus story!
This takes place five years after Give Me More. Hunter, Drake, and Isabel are celebrating five years together, and they go back to the place where everything started for them- Vegas! They have three children together, and things are great!
Isabel worries that Drake misses out on his single days, but Drake proves that he is all in with Hunter and Isabel.
This is very spicy, but it's also sweet. I was tearing up at the end. I loved it so much!
I absolutely DEVOURED Give Me More but reading this short story of 5 years down the road shows some really raw emotions that Isabel and Hunter start to feel. Nobody at fault other than their own worry but it is enough to prompt them to make a suggestion which doesn’t come across as the best idea. Drake is hurt tremendously even tho that was never the intent set by them. In the end everything turns out completely beautiful. But let me just say… just because this story may be short, Sara Cate did not lack the SPICE!!! It is HOTT!!
As if I didn't already have enough reasons to love Drake! He's one of my favorite SPC characters and this short story only confirmed that. I loved revisiting this trio, which was my favorite until Madame came out (you can't compete with Eden, sorry). I loved every page of it and I'll always seize every opportunity to get back to these characters 🖤
Sara Cate never fails me and this novella was no exception. Revisiting Isabel, Hunter, and Drake, we get all three POVs and where they're sitting in their relationship post-kids. Iz is concerned that Drake has regrets about settling down, Hunter is incredulous that she could be in that frame of mind, and Drake has a whole other surprise for them. Spicy as always and fun, going back to where the three characters first decided to try polyamory in Sin City, this novella is a great quick read.
Such a good quick read/ update on the trio! I was shocked that Isabel would take them to a place without much communication because that would throw anyone off but the outcome of it was so sweet. The wedding was perfect 😍
