I could not finish this book, and I read hundreds of books a year. The number of books I have left unfinished, I can count on one hand. The premise sounds good: stop seeking happiness in the next "thing", whether it's money, relationships, or a situation. The actual book, however, is so full of "woo woo" gibberish that it's like reading in a giant circle. I have no problem with reading spiritual books about various beliefs and religions, but this book was impossible to follow, it was so full of...gibberish is the only word I can think of. My reading tastes are extremely varied, but this book is a mess.

If you want a book that's easy to understand, with clear, practical advice, try Happiness Junkie: A 12 Step Program to Find Inner Peace and Change Your Life instead. I have no affiliation at all with that book; I've just finished about half of it and find it makes much more sense.
