While Juvi & Kevo’s story wasn’t cowboy forward, I really enjoyed this second chance romance and the chemistry that they shared!

Juvi and Kevo’s love story dates back to the tender age of 15! That young love was intoxicating and all consuming and up until the age of 23 they were crazy about each other. While the love was still very present, their career paths took them in very different directions. Kevo would’ve easily paused his dreams if it meant that he would forever be in Juvi’s life however she didn’t want that on her conscious and ended things between them.

Now Kevo is back and ready to claim his woman! Juvi was fake mad when Kevo reinterred her orbit but it was nothing but a front meant to guard her heart. The way she was keeping tabs on that man and his career she wasn’t fooling nobody she wanted him and needed to stand on business!

The dream home was my favorite part of the story because you better plan for a future with your woman Kevo! Miller’s Pointe is definitely where the HEAs reside!

4.5⭐️ Be still my heart.. 😌Kevo was a man on a mission to win his heart back. He is a country music singer who returned to his hometown during the holiday with one plan in mind. Juvi is into horse training and competitions. The two were soulmates and inseparable in college until their breakup. This was a good example of second-chance romance and the story was written well. It reminded me of the phrase, “if you love something let it go..” that was the case with these two. They never fell out of love with each other, so it was easy to fall back in love. But I think the break was good for both to reach their goals. There was a few times where I was getting antsy about Juvi questioning things and all the “what ifs” but Kevo reassured her that he wasn’t going anywhere. The ending had me blushing so hard. ML knows how to pen a couple with all the romance and heart swooning moments.☺️

Getting that old thang back

The love was loud and clear and I felt it. Kevo was back in town on one mission and that was to get his girl back. He was still very much in love with his college sweetheart, even though their dreams pulled them apart for three years. He was back to claim the woman that was always his. I love a strong decisive mc and that is who Kevo was, and this time he was gonna make it work. Music career be damned. Juvi was hesitant out of the fear of what might happen. I wanted just a little more of her, description wise and just who she was. One thing that was clear though was she was head over heels for Kevo. I appreciated the different story line and most of all the love.

I think we got a little less Cowboy in this one but more love. It also gave some Christmas moments.

Second and last chance.

Men like Kevo come a dime a dozen. He was deeply in love with Juvi and had been since their college years. He ensured the world knew just how much. When he started to build his "fame" his band members knew that Juvi was his heart. He took it as far as writing songs about their past as well as their current chapter in their relationship. Juvi had her hiccups from the initial break up but she finally saw the bright light of love. She tried to get over Kevo by marrying another man but couldn't stop comparing him to Kevo. Kevo was and always will be her "person." Kevo and Juvi is the perfect example of how strong that second chance at love hits. They both knew that there was no letting go this time once they got their claws into each other. They were going to live in Juvi's dream house and start a family. Kevo was so sure of his love for Juvi that he was willing to give up his music career for her. If that is not love then I do not know what is.

This is another good read in this series, although it didn't quite give me the cowboy feels like the other three have. I was also expecting a proposal in the final scene especially after Kevo pulled Juvi on stage. However, it was good to read about a cowgirl, it would have been nice to be able to dive into her rodeo career more.

Gave me a toothache

Kevo was so freaking sweet oh my gosh. I was really expecting some freaky deaky and she gave me this sweet, soft, cheesy (in the absolute best freaking way) black romance second chance goodness. Had this been a little longer I think it would have given me all the feels I get from like romcoms. I loved loved loved how Kevo knew exactly what time Juvi was gonna be on and was prepared to smother her in love and reassurance and I Stan. ML Bash continues to wow and surprise me.

Kevo really loved Juvi, but Juvi got upset for reasons that confused me at first. Turns out, she was overthinking and comparing their relationship to her parents' failed one. As I kept reading, I loved how Kevo reminded Juvi of their love and plans. However, I was disappointed when Juvi slipped back into her old negative thoughts. Overall, it's a good, short read that didn't let me down. ❤️

Second Chance Romance

This was a cute second chance romance but was a miss on the cowboy Christmas theme for me. I was looking forward to the country music cowboy vibes but didn’t get that so I was a little disappointed. I did however enjoy the second chance romance. Kevo was pushing hard for Juvi and I was glad sis finally got on board.

This novella was a little too predictable for me, much like other books from ML Bash but with a singer and Christmas decorations. The FMC, Juvi, in particular is the same archetype as Kimber Dixon in Bash’s “Nobody to Love You Better” and I also saw similarities to the FMC in “You Hide I’ll Seek.”

I think this is my last ML Bash read. I might have gotten all the author has to give me as a reader.

Loved it!!

I am so happy for Kevo and Juvi, they were able to finally make a conscious decision to work through their relationship. Juvi was really getting on my nerves with the indecisiveness but she finally came around. There is nothing more sexier than a man who knows exactly what he wants and is willing to do whatever is necessary to get it and that was what Kevo did. I’m so happy for them!!!

-A cute second chance romance. This one was just okay. I found it a bit mundane. These two have been apart for 3 years but very quickly resolve their issues and come back together. While Kevo is a country music artist, this lacked the country charm of the other novellas in the collection.

This was a sweet second time around story. It was evident from the beginning how deeply Kevo loved Juvi. I have to admit I was a bit confused as to why Juvi was so very angry with Kevo when it had been her decision for them to go their separate ways after college 😔. The more I read the more I realized she was a victim of her own overthinking and making the mistake of comparing their relationship to that of her parents, which seemed to be in shambles.

I don’t want to spoil this read for anyone I’ll simply say that I simply smiled when Kevo was able to show Juvi that he had never forgotten the love they had and the promises and plans
They had made for their future. My disappointment came when Juvi attempted to slide back to her old way of thinking 🤦🏽‍♀️.
Good short read that didn’t disappoint❤️

I never stopped loving you.

Kevo and Juvi may have been apart for three years, and she even was married to someone else, for a time. However, true love can stand the test of time even when each other's dreams and careers creates a distance that doesn't allow them to spend as much time together. These two have loved each other forever. I love that Kevo from the start, let Juvi know he was back for her and the life they both truly want together because their love is never-ending. I would love to read a follow-up story after they have been married for a couple of years to see how well they've managed the relationship (kids hopefully) and their jobs.

I read this one as a part of the Miller's Pointe Christmas collection, and the first thing I have read by this author. This was my favorite of the series and I think it had to do with the fact that Kevo and Juvi had a previous relationship. I really enjoyed the fact that Kevo was a country music star, and that Juvi was the cowgirl. I know that second chance romance does not work for everyone, but I felt like I really understood why these two split and I loved seeing them come back together. Just like the other novellas in the collection, the relationship was very fast moving. I will be looking for more of this authors work in the future.

Cute story of childhood sweethearts finally getting it right by acting like grown ups and communicating effectively. Juvi drove me crazy but as often is the case, children internalize and emulate what they see growing up and these generational curses and blessings have profound impact. Moral of the story....childhood is a blueprint but you're the architect and have to design your own life. I loved Kevo who stood on business about who he was and what he wanted....and he got it too! This was a good read 📚 👍🏾 ❣️

Hmmm, “Kevo & Juvi: A Miller’s Point Christmas” was a little boring but a safe & scandal free mediocre read. …Predictable🤨‼️Juvi & Kevo already had history together as a childhood & college sweethearts. So, there were no ranch surprises, no baby mana drama (thank goodness for small favors 🤦🏾‍♀️🤭) and or no references to any of the other characters in this series as cameo appearances/mention in this book. Weird🧐⁉️It’s not like Miller’s Pointe is populous like Texas city’s or towns. Nevertheless, cute couple but no CFs or MP county Christmas cookies or crumbs🤷🏾‍♀️‼️

this story took place in Miller's Pointe but didn't involve cowboys. it was a second chance romance between former lovers from Miller's Pointe. Kevo left Miller's Pointe to chase his dream of becoming a country music star. Juvi stayed in Miller's Pointe, competed on horses, got married and divorced, and pined for her first love, Kevo.

these two reunite when Kevo returns home to get his girl. and get his girl he does. Kevo was playing no games and came for her strong and loud. Juvi was ill equipped to resist his advances and soon they were back together. loved this story.
