Not up to Adrian Blue’s usual standards. The worldbuilding of each story was perfunctory, there was very little emotional depth or characterisation, the sex started to feel repetitive, and worst of all there were spelling mistakes. I have never seen a typo in an Adrian Blue story before this. It’s one of the many reasons they’re in my top five erotica writers.

The idea of the anthology was great and the variety of monsters excellent. I wish more time had been spent on development of each story and the quality of prose. I’d rather wait longer for a flawless Adrian Blue story than have something shoddy rushed out that’s unworthy of the name.

Hopefully Arboreum will be a return to form.

Overall ...

An excellent anthology of erotic short stories. All based on the Christmas holidays, I particularly enjoyed Horns and Santa's Good Girl, but I am a Krampus fan so it's not really that surprising. The price for the anthology was very good as none of the stories are bad, and individually would have cost 3 times more if you bought them all. Adrian Blue is definitely a go to for steamy monster erotica.

Fantastic ~

What a fantastic variety of naughty holiday themed stories. Most of the stories I read individually, and reviewed. I enjoyed them so much, I bought this Anthology. Out of all of the stories, my favorite was Horns. As with any Adrian Blue story, it lives up to the Anything But, normal. The Branches was my, could have passed on that one. Enjoy !

Adrian Blue's books are a sweet little morsel you want to take a bite out of they make me smile and want to suspend belief for an hour. These books are just hot and beyond belief but I like reading them anyway. Sometimes you just want a good over the top read featuring a naughty monster.

These were all short and twisted. A few were rather strange and a bit off putting but some were quite interesting. My favorite was silverbells with the elves.

Great collection with a holiday twist of sexy, steamy, smutty monster love/lust. Live these short story collections she puts together. Always an immediate buy for me.
