Moonbeams and fated mates… what’s a Goddess to do?
Moon Goddess Artemis Chase has almost everything she ever wanted; she’s the CEO of the Underworld’s only bank and has a wonderful son. She’s just missing the romance. Enter the perfect man, Lee. But she’s never met him except through her son’s stories.
Dragon Shifter Finley McKellen is happy his brothers found their mates, but he’s lonely. He meets the perfect woman, except that she has a kid. Kids are messy, loud, and chaotic; not something he wants to deal with, especially since he’s helping out Maddie at her daycare during her last month of pregnancy.
When Alexander is kidnapped, it brings Artemis and Finley together, but will they be able to save the boy and their relationship, or is it doomed from the start?
Artemis is book thirty-five in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld shared world, featuring a classy Moon Goddess, a protective dragon shifter, and more.
USA Today Bestselling Author Gina Kincade spends her days tapping away at a keyboard, through blood, sweat, and often many tears, crafting steamy paranormal romances filled with shifters and vampires, along with witchy urban fantasy tales in magical worlds she hopes her readers yearn to crawl into.
A busy mom of three, she loves healthy home cooking, gardening, warm beaches, fast cars, and horseback riding.
Ms. Kincade's life is full, time is never on her side, and she wouldn't change a moment of it!
This is another book which is part of the Denziens of the Underworld Series and this one is about Artemis and Finley. Finley is a dragon shifter which I absolutely loved. Artemis & Finley meet during the Speed Dating Night and Artemis is completely attracted to him, but being a CEO and single mother, she feels she can’t add a relationship to her plate too. After a steamy quickie in the bathroom where Finley rocks her world, they part and go their separate ways without exchanging info. But this storyline takes a scary turn quickly when Artemis’s son gets kidnapped. When Artemis realizes that Finley is really the Lee her son has been talking about for two weeks every night he comes home from childcare, she falls for him a little more. But finding Alexander is the top priority. Will they be able to find time to be together and pursue a relationship? Does Finley even want to? You’ll have to read to find out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I couldn't put this down from the second I picked it up. I got it at 9 pm and thought "I'll just read the first chapter." That is NOT what happened! FIVE hours later, it's the middle of the night and I finished the book and completely effed up my sleep schedule. There were multiple times I laughed out loud. Finley's interactions with the kids? With his brothers? Perfection. That little boy? Absolutely 100% exactly like my kids. Little smarty-pants, adorable, loving, little ones. I was chortling when Finley wanted to meet back up with Artemis but didn't know how to find her...and then went to her little boy's birthday party. And the sex was fire. Absolutely steamy. 11/10, would read again.
If you love books that pull at your heart in all the most gentle ways before serving up a last act of heart-pounding action and emotion, look no further than this gorgeously written book by two masterful goddesses of the craft. Kincade and Bishop set up such a lovely story with many of my very favorite tropes, but with just enough subtle spins on each that my eyebrows were lifting and my heart was thoroughly snagged. But while this story really grabbed in all the right places for my heart and soul, what I loved the most about this book were the two main characters. They are going to cling to my memory for a good while to come! Artemis is, in one word I save for only my favorite heroines, so real and relatable--and this, despite that fact that she's a bonafide goddess of Olympus! But in this book, she's also a single mom saddled with so many of the HUMAN emotions that brings, helped by a gal-posse we'd all love to call our own. Her hero, Finley is a dragon shifter (!!! YES!!!) who, despite his beastly side (because don't we all have them?) is rendered beautifully human in his attributes by snagging a job with the Underworld daycare, where his new little-man bestie spends a lot of time bragging about what a great mom he has...tee hee! When Artemis and Finley's worlds finally converge, the sparks fly--and I do mean SPARKS!--in a subtle but sexy tale that had me turning pages all the way up to, and through, a climactic third act. It was such an amazing ride...truly a 5-star read!
Artemis Chase is the CEO of Purgator’s only bank and her assistant is Luna. Yes, she is that Artemis, Goddess of the Moon and twin to Apollo. Her son, Alexander will be having his birthday soon and she tried to invite his father. Maddie aka Medusa, is in charge of the daycare where Damien, Alexander, Lyta and . Alexander is adorable and very precocious for under/ about to be 3. Since Maddie ended up with Jaden, his brothers Augustine (Gus) and Finley will be helping Maddie at the daycare since she will be having the baby soon. Hestia, her assistant, can’t take care of two babies and two toddlers by herself. Gus ended up with Hera. The dragon brothers are awesome fighters and I’ve liked Finley since he was introduced. He is worried that he won’t be able to take care of the kids, because he never did so before, but Alexander is always willing to help out. That kid is adorable! OMG> I just wanted to snuggle him. Thank goodness Finley is there as someone tries to pull a fast one, quite a few times. I was very shaken during that section of the book. The book was very cute, steamy, romantic, and I adored it. I love this series. Artemis was always one of my faves from the Greek pantheon. I can’t wait to read more books…

There's something truly comforting about delving into a new book and reconnecting with familiar characters. Each installment in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld series accomplishes just that for me; it feels like coming home to beloved characters.
Artemis Chase, the CEO of the sole bank in Purgatory, is a single mother, a formidable woman, and also happens to be the Moon Goddess. Despite her busy life, her main focus is her toddler son Alexander, the product of a fleeting and unsatisfactory relationship with an absent father.
Finley McKellen, a Dragon Shifter, and brother to Augustine and Jared, whom we've met in previous books, spends his days as a fighter at Odin’s fight club, Valhalla’s Throne. However, his routine changes when he's called upon to assist his brother's pregnant mate, Maddie, at her daycare during her maternity leave. For someone who isn't exactly child-friendly, this poses quite the challenge.
Their paths cross at one of Eve and Aphrodite’s Speed Dating events at DeLux café, leading Artemis and Finley into a whirlwind romance and a perilous plot to kidnap Alexander.
Filled with thrilling action and heartwarming moments with the children, this book is sure to capture your heart.
I have to admit that I often steer clear of books with younger children in mainly because they just always seem to be a plot device, precocious, sweet and old before their time however I have read many books by these authors so there was no chance of me not reading it. Finley has come up before and there are quite a few links to other relationships in other books but this does not mean that you cannot read it without having read the others. I would suggest that you do though because they are very good reads. Artemis' priority is her little boy but she is also looking for a partner however long that partnership might last so she goes along to the dating event and meets Finley. Finley feels the sparks with her but it has him running a little scared as well. He is currently helping out at a daycare but it is not his usual sort of thing. The very fact that he worries he doesn't have enough experience to look after children just shows that he cares and will ensure that they will be as safe as possible. Well they would be unless someone wasn't trying someting that they shouldn't!!
Artemis Chase is strong, beautiful, intelligent and delightful banking CEO and Goddess and I find her fascinating 🥰. She’s amazing, sweet and affectionate with her young son Alexander. She goes to a speed dating event hoping to find someone interesting and fun. Finley is a dragon shifter and he’s helping out at Alexander’s day care. I love Artemis and Finley so funny and delicious, they meet at the speed dating event, instant attraction, so hot. They share an awesome, steamy night together. Alexander is kidnapped and held for ransom. Artemis is frantic, desperate to rescue her son. With the help of Finley, his family and Artemis’s friends they find Alex. It’s horrible that Alex’s father is the rat that kidnapped Alex. They rescued Alex and his father and his men are captured and sent to jail. Artemis and Finley are mates 🥰 beautiful and action packed story with awesome happy ending. I loved every second of this entertaining read. I love this series.
Moon Goddess Artemis is the CEO of the only bank in purgatory. She;s trying to reach her son's father but he isn't available. She figures her son might want to know his father but that is harder than it seems. In between meetings she meets up with Hera who tells her about the speed dating scene. She decides to go. Dragon Shifter Finley McKellen and learns about a meet for the speed dating scene. He goes and meets Artemis but when he learns she has a child he leaves her as fast as he can. Later he's talked into helping his brother's mate at the childcare she has. There he meets Alexander. They get along great. Then Alexander is almost kidnapped. Twice. The third time he is taken at his birthday party. No one knows how because the gate was locked. The search is on. Who would take the little boy? Will they find him? Another great story in this series.

Artemis is a successful banker and has a wonderful son that she adores. The only thing missing is a good man in her life. She decides to try the speed dating, there she meets Finley a dragon shifter and they have hot steamy sex but Finley panics when he finds out that she has a son - he doesn't need this complication. However, he is to help out at the nursery of his brother's wife as she is in the last stages of her pregnancy. Unknown to him he meets Alexander - Artemis's son. He is adorable and Finley finds he is soon loving the new challenges that the children present him with. Alexander loves Lee and he talks about him all the time to his mum, who doesn't know his real identity. But when Alexander is kidnapped, Finley will stop at nothing to get him back. A good read with plenty of adventure, laughs and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and voluntarily leave this honest review
Loved reading this story that is about Artemis our moon goddess and Finley/Lee a blue dragon shifter. Artemis is a successful CEO of the underworld bank who has an adorable three-year-old, Alexander and Finley volunteered to work at Maddie's daycare service during her trying pregnancy. Finley has a negative outlook about kids. Finley and Artemis meet during the speed dating event, and they have a brief hook-up and Artemis thinks when she mentioned her son, Finley cooled off. Days later they meet since they keep missing each other at the daycare, but her son talks about new guy, Lee. Does looking after the kids change Finley's mind? When someone kidnaps Alexander will Finley save the day and be able to restart their relationship? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Amazing read, I didn't see that coming for sure. Artemis is the Moon Goddess, a Single Mom, and CEO. Looking for more in life she goes to the DeLux Cafe speed dating event. She finds a connection but he bolts the moment she mentions she has a son. Finley is helping his brothers mate at the Daycare. He struggles at first but the kids worm their way into his heart. Alexander is kidnapped, the son of the very woman he's obsessed with. But can he get over his fear of children to find his mate that he desperately wants. Absolutely hands down an amazing read!! This series offers a wide variety of entertainment from a sweet romance to erotica. Multiple authors with different styles, something for everyone.

Artemis Chase is the Moon Goddess and there's no one more important to her than her son, Alexander. She has a wonderful life and the only thing missing is a man to love. She goes Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld where she meets Finley McKellan, a blue dragon shifter. Finley, known as Lee, is helping at the daycare where Alexander goes and, unbeknownst to the other, Lee and Artemis have a connection. It seems like fate when they cross each other's path and finally meet face to face. When Alexander is kidnapped, it's up to Finley to keep him safe. I enjoyed this story, but it was a little drawn out and there were times when it felt a little repetitious. Artemis is well-written and all of the characters are unique and believable. The ending was wrapped up a little too quickly and it ends in a HFN.
Moon beams, dragons and snakes. Another great story of the underworld learning to love! This time we meet Artemis and dragon, Finley and a bunch of youngins at the day care. Finley is great with the kids and amazing how this version of Artemis is so humble and patient! A night of speed dating goes well but things are said and they don't see each for quite a while. A birthday party brings the two back together but through a kidnapping is how they grow closer. Amazing how smooth and well this story flows. Great ending, great action, and a heroic end to the kidnapping! Looking forward to the next speed dating adventure! This is another fantastic read to this series and I love how this time there was a lot of overlap of prior characters. Artemis is the moon goddess and she’s a single momma who occasionally feels lonely. Goes to the speed dating event and meets Finely. Sparks fly but when she accidentally lets it slip that she’s a mom, he books it outta there. However he can’t get her out of his mind and tries to ask for help to find her especially after helping out at the daycare and finding out he’s not completely terrified of kids. Throw in a few kidnapping attempts, a pissed off rival and some steam and this turns into quite the page turner!!.

Speed dating strikes again as Artemis and Finley find love. Artemis is a CEO of the bank in the underworld. She's a single mom. Her son has two kidnapping attempt that was stooped by the man she met at the speed dating event, Finley, only she didn't know it was him until her son's party she met the man her son called Lee. Finley was scared of kids until he agreed to help out at his brother's mate's daycare. There he learns what children are really like and the day he meets Alexander's mom, he's dumbfounded its he woman from the speed dating event. Things go sour before they get better, but these two are fated mates.
Steamy, fated mates, paranormal beings of all sorts, strong woman, protective man, sweet kid, danger, dead beat dad, lots of drama, all around wonderful characters.
Quick read. Artemis is the mother of rambunctious little Alexander. Hoping to find a partner, be it for the night or forever, she attends the famous speed dating event in the underworld. There she meets Finley. Cue sparks and maybe some spicy fireworks. 😉
Finley is scared of by the thought of a single mother, only to later come to the realization that he might have judged a little too soon. After spending time with Alexander when filling in at his daycare, Artemis and Finley are thrust back together to save Alexander's life.
Our little 3-year old matchmaker absolutely cracks me up. I hope to see more of these 3 in later books.

Loved this story. Artemis and Finley meet at the speed dating event, have a quick tryst then Finley runs away when he finds out Artemis has a child. This story is so much fun, especially when Finley has to work at the day care to help out. Now the children who call him Lee teach him how to take care of them. Before you know it he's diapering them, playing with them and taking care of them and he doesn't mind it. But now he needs to find Artemis but has no way to contact her. This is an over the top fun fast read and I loved it. Once started you can't put it down. And it is hot steamy too. Great read!.

Artemis, bank CEO, moon goddess, and single mother, is in the midst of a long dry spell. Her son's father isn't in the picture, despite repeated invitations to get to know the boy. When dragon-shifter Finley reluctantly goes to work at little Alexander's daycare, he bonds with the boy. Then Artemis decides to try speed dating, where she meets Finley. They're a hit, until he finds out she has a son. The setup is there, and all it takes for their mutual fall is… Nope. Not telling. But this cute, clever, sweet and heated romance is a delight to read, and I promise on my voluntary, independent ARC reviewer's honor, readers will find it perfectly, enjoyably satisfying.
Can you believe it's Book 35 and the multiple author series is fantastic!! This is Artemis and Finley's story. They meet on a speed dating event and are insanely attracted to one another even have a quickie in the bathroom! Her son Alexander has been going on about his friend Lee that he met at the daycare he attends not knowing Lee and Finley are one in the same. Lee comes to the rescue when Alexander is kidnapped. This a wonderful, sweet and spicy read and I loved every second of it! Can't wait to see whose next!.

Loved Artemis, she has been my favorite Goddess all my life, so her character is near and dear to my heart ! Throw in Finley the dragon shifter, Alexander her son and you have the perfect trifecta of characters ! They are multidimensional and their reactions are true to the situations they find themselves in. Adore the way the Authors continue to bring back previous characters, so we get to see how they are doing, all the while continuing to move the series forward. 4✨’s I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Enjoyed this one a lot. Artemis is a successful, powerful single mum who's looking for some love in her life. When she meets a guy and feels an instant connection to a handsome stranger she meets, she thinks her luck is changing.
I loved how in charge Artemis is, and the loving was she was with her little boy but I did feels sad for her with Finley's behaviour. I loved how protective Finley became of Alexander, swooping in to save him!
This is a fun series, and I have loved getting to know the Denizens of the Underworld.
I cannot believe this is the 35th book in this series, which somehow manages to stay fresh. I love the appearances of characters from other books, the whole mix between Purgatory and topside becomes even more three dimensional. This one is my favourite so far, it's impossible to put down. I loved Artemis being an intimidating CEO in a typically male dominated sector. Finley had me laughing so much, I loved the way he interacts with the kids and his brothers. A chance encounter that should not have gone further... Loved it.
Artemis Chase, moon goddess has a great job and a wonderful little boy, all she needs is a little romance. Finley McKellen Is a dragon shifter whose brothers have all found happiness. He meets Artemis at the speed dating event and they really hit it off but at the end of the night go their separate ways. Then chaos ensues as Artemis’s son is kidnapped and Finley steps in to help save the boy. It’s exciting, it’s thrilling, it’s definitely a little steamy and it’s holds you on the edge of your seat.
A God who is not only powerful, but smart intelligent and a boss lady. Artemis has a wonderful little boy who lights up her life. She’s missing something though and decides to scratch an itch. Finley is a dragon shifter who is not suitable for kids as they scare him. A favor brings him closer to children than ever before. An attempted kidnapping keeps him and everyone on high alert. Dangerous games are being played and everyone is watching.

Artemis is a goddess, a CEO of a company and a single mom of a very cute little boy. It seems any one of those is enough to keep any man from wanting to date her. But Aphrodite has a speed dating event that has worked for others. Can it work for her? Love the mythology and modern day theme. The story is fun, romantic and even has a mystery danger. There are a few hot scenes too. I loved the characters and definitely one little boy. He was just so cute. Great story that I didn’t want to stop reading.
Artemis has a rambunctious son, Alexander. She's hoping to find a partner, so she attends the famous speed dating event in the underworld. She meets Finley there. The sparks and some serious spicy fireworks are in play.

When two fated mates meet at speed dating and after some steamy heat one runs away - do you give another chance to them? I loved how everything lined up in this supernatural fated love story. Almost as if something magical was working in the background ✨️ 🤔 When mystery and danger come to visit these two are stronger together than apart. Artemis is the CEO of the only bank in Purgatory. When her assistant, Luna, mentions that Artemis should attend the Speed Dating run by Aphrodite and Eve, she agrees and meets Finley, a fighter at Valhalla's Throne. This story has a douchebag dad, action, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.
