Being the ex daughter in law to Fred's stepson, this book made me giggle and cry at parts. I could envision Rosemary and her descriptions of the beautiful soul of my father in law. He was a one of a kind gentleman. I miss our talks as we walked together while I was pregnant with Brandon. How truly blessed we were to have him in our life. How very lucky he was to have had such a wonderful life. I am so thankful that Rosemary told him yes to marriage. It may have only been five years but, they lived a lifetime in those years.
This is a diary of Life events of the author and her husband, how they met, their life together the activities and family times, and spoiler alert his eventual passing. It's REAL! I everyone who reads it will understand that we all have faith in something - whether it's faith that there is a God or faith that there isn't, and that you make the right choice.
This was a beautiful and very moving book. The love between Fred and Rosemary was deep. I didn’t think I would like the book but started reading it anyway because of the great reviews. Was I ever wrong! I felt a connection to Fred and Rosemary. I was caregiver to my late husband so I especially felt a connection with Rosemary. I would recommend reading this book.
