*Book 4 in the Enchanted Kingdom series, but books 4 and 5 can be read separately.
Tricia Wentworth is the award-winning author of The Culling series. Though she began writing at a young age, she didn’t realize her love of writing would take over until after she graduated college with her teaching degree. She currently resides in Nebraska with her husband, three sons, and English bulldog. She hoards notebooks, pretty pens, books, and tea. When not reading, writing, or momming, she can be found squeezing in a run or feeding her sugar addiction by baking something ridiculously delicious.
I'm definitely in the minority on this one. I really liked the previous three books but it appears that the arc of that story is finished and has morphed into this. I'm just not into this type of fantasy i.e. dragons, shape shifting, etc and found it a bit boring. I did like most of the characters and the humor but unsure if I will continue on when the next book comes out.
Kier and Esta have got off the charts chemistry. They share a rueful humor and a dedication to their people and the good of all people that is quite impressive. I really loved how Kier gradually figured out how to ... well ... I don't do spoilers so you'll have to read it to find out!
Enchanted Queen is the fourth book in the Enchanted Kingdom series. While it starts a new story arch and could be read without reading the first three, I highly recommend reading the series in order as the stories are not standalones.
I would highly recommend this mostly clean book. With mild cursing and slow burn, tension filled kisses, there is nothing unsuitable for teenagers.
This book was action packed and full of new characters. At first I was bummed that Prince Keir was the main character. However I quickly realized that this book was something I didn’t know I needed. Basically, there was already a happily ever after for Krew and Jorah. Its time now for Prince Keiran to have love. Although the end of this book leaves everything up in the air.
My only complaint is that there will be a wait until the next book is out…
This story is amazing! Not only did Tricia create Enchanted (those with magic) completely different from the first 3 books but she merged the stories beautifully. There's no confusion, only intrigue.
I don't like that it ends on a cliffhanger but it was expected after reading the first 2 books. And I can't really complain since I read the 4th book and am impatient for book 5.
I have read all of Tricia Wentworth’s novels and I honestly think this is the best one year. Dragons, love, magic, and war all tied together with a sparkly purple bow, and tossed off the cliffhanger mountain. I cannot wait to continue reading the Enchanted Kingdom series when future books come out!
Aargh...I hate cliffhangers. Lol. Lots of action and "who dun it" suspense. Love found, but will it survive. Love all the characters and their interactions and humor. Highly recommend this book and series.
This. Book. The first 3 of the Enchanted Series had me feeling lukewarm for Keiran, but holy smokes do I love him now!! Not to mention a few of our old faves and some new ones! This book had me swooning, laughing, and even crying. I literally couldn’t put it down and I cannot wait until the next because in true Tricia fashion, that cliffhanger will make sure you need to read the next one!
I love this series. I am a huge fan of romantasy books but tire pd the smut that seems to always be packed in. I love that this has fun fantasy and a slow burn romance and no smut. Keir definitely redeems himself in this book and I've fallen for Esta. I can't wait for book 5.
