If there's one thing I know, it's if she gives you butterflies, brace for trouble.I'm a former football star turned sports agent, molded by discipline and strategy, not chaos. Life after my career-ending injury is orderly, calculated.
That's how I like it.
Then comes the Christmas charity event, a chance to give back, to pass on the opportunities that shaped me. I've got it all planned out, down to the last detail. Until Sloane Thompson crashes into my world.
Sloane is a whirlwind of creativity and unpredictability. She challenges my every rule, disrupting my carefully laid plans. And the worst part? I don’t entirely hate it.
In Sloane, there's a spark, a passion so different from anything I've known. It's thrilling, unsettling. Change means disorder, and Sloane thrives in it. Me? I'm way out of my depth, torn between the safety of structure and the chaos of what I feel with her.
Should I follow my heart or my head? Trusting Sloane, trusting this feeling, might just need a Christmas miracle.

Fast paced & short. Was hoping this would be a good read for the upcoming holiday season, but it just wasnt for me. There was a few mentions of holiday time/snowy weather but wasnt giving what I wanted it too based off the title. Characters had good chemistry just wish it was longer to enjoy it more.
I thought that this was an ok book really. There was a lot of chemistry between Sloane and Spencer but I did feel like there was an actual connection between them. These two are a lot alike and scared to give up control they push everyone away but somehow Sloane and Spencer end up together.

alr um this just wasn't for me. it's not bad as a novella but it's very much insta love and kinda flick flacky. one second, he doesn't know how to communicate in the slightest, the next, he's professing his love for her. also, the grammar is kinda awful. honestly, it just wasn't for me but i know that's not how everyone feels so if you enjoy it, then i'm happy for you.
3.75 stars! Touchdowns and Tinsel is a well written book that is a short story with only 122 pages. The main characters Sloane and Spencer both share the issue of not being able to commit which they eventually get over and get into a relationship.
Oil and water is one way to describe this couple. Spencer (Professor Grumplestiltskin) Dalton is known for being a bit of a stick in the mud. Whereas Sloane Thompson is a bit of a free spirit who craves care, some control, and dirty sexy times. That last one leads to some rocking good times.
That girl was trouble; I knew that much for sure. -- Spencer Dalton
The best part of this is undoubtedly the car scene and what followed. This is where things really shine. 🌶🌶🌶 The rest is interesting enough, but it's missing some details to give it that extra oomph.
I read this as part of the Hot Cocoa and Hotter Nights collection.
This is Spencer, who is a former football star, whose career ended due to injury, and he is now a sports agent, and Sloane’s story. This is a well written quick read story with engaging and realistic character, undeniable chemistry, challenges, humor, witty banter, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and steamy sports romance. Spencer is a former NFL star turned sports agent and when he met Sloane his world got turned upside down from love. I loved the chemistry between these two and how they played off each other with their crazy fun banter. Touchdowns and Tinsel is a quick read but it isn't missing a thing. From the great storyline and likable characters to the steam and humor this is a great addition to the Wolverine Players series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Part of the Wolverine Players Series, Sloane and Spencer's short Holiday story. The story is engaging with a very good storyline that held my interest until the end. I found the story to be well worth reading.
I absolutely LOVED Sloane! She was a whole vibe. I would love to see more of her for sure. The tension between her and Spencer made me smile from ear to ear. I loved their banter. It was a short, sweet and spicy story that does not disappoint. I can't wait for the rest of the series.
