This book has as some general info on bariatric surgery processes but it’s written by another medical model coach with zero qualifications to treat eating disorders. It’s all bad advice.
If you’re looking into Bariatric surgery, you most likely have an eating disorder. The advice given is the general advice you’ve heard your whole life. Eat less. Move more. Weigh your food. Track every bite. Advice that increases the food noise and does nothing to shut the ED voice up. Do yourself a favor and have the surgery, find an ED therapist and ED dietitian and spend the next few years putting in THAT work. But don’t read this book. It won’t help.
