In a fictional solar system, over centuries inhabitants of the planet Orim developed technology to terraform neighboring planets and traveled to the nearest star system. Further, inhabitants benefit from the gifts of The Endowed, an elite organization of men and women who use their special abilities (including wisdom, strength, and telepathy) to solve social, intellectual, and environmental problems. The story follows medical student Jayel, who suspects her father murdered his brother’s wife seventeen years ago. Both brothers are Endowed members. The heroine joins her uncle in a search of truth. The story involves travel to planets, a space battle, love and betrayal, psychology, and telepathic abilities. At an Endowed gathering to hear the evidence, the truth is revealed, and the murderer brought to justice.Fans of Star Trek, Star Wars, or Doctor Who will enjoy this story where the characters’ conflicts and relationships are forefront against cultural backgrounds of these fictional planets.
