Emily Jensen and Laura Wifler are in the trenches of motherhood, right alongside their readers. With a combination of accessibility, relatability, and solid Biblical knowledge, Emily and Laura have a knack for simplifying complex Biblical truths, revealing how they relate and apply to everyday life. As the co-founders of the Risen Motherhood ministry, and co-hosts of the chart-topping podcast, God has consistently and powerfully used the voices of these two moms as a vehicle to captivate women around the world with the gospel. As sister-in-laws, Emily and Laura both live in central Iowa with their families.

I'm glad I did the workbook while reading GM. It provided space for me to think through my own parenting journey and meditate on what kind of mom I want to be. it also gave questions for me to work through how to apply the gospel to my own family situations.

This workbook made me think and really reflect on my thought processes. I feel like it was the perfect companion to go with the Gospel Mom book and I don’t think one should be without the other!

Ended up rushing through this journal more than I would’ve liked to, probably will go back through again! Would be nice to do as a weekly study with a small group! A lot of personal questions and reflections in here, mixed with some Bible study too!

I wish it had more biblical application where it was more about writing down Bible verses or looking up answers to the book. But overall it was a helpful study guide that focused more on personal application which is fine, just not my preferred preference.

A great companion to the book! It’s a great time of reflection individually but also would be helpful to go through this with a group studying the book together.
